    two tacos on tin foil

El Campechano is one food truck out of many at the Leander Trucking Company, making it a great spot for a meal as there is plenty of space and tables to eat. The service is quick and very friendly, and the food itself is so delicious! I got my food to go and everything was packed so nicely. They even packed some limes to go for us! All of the meat is flavored so well, and they have good range in spice between their two sauces. Will definitely have to come back again!

LEANDER FOOD TRUCK nothing to write home about. Taco's were bland and not enough egg (breakfast). I won't be back.

Not just another steak burrito, but one made "Baja Style", with Ranchero meat or similar. We've found something that comes close at Aparicio's. It's not your ordinary menu choices of ground beef, pork and chicken. First of all, customers waiting in line were raving to their friends on how amazing the food is. The quality, the service and the portion sizes. Taco prices are a bit higher than your average taco stand, but this is not a "hole in the wall" dive joint. The owners have made your experience here unique in the decor, yet the food served on homemade tortillas lets you know you're being blessed in the kitchen, by someone who cares. When we arrived we told them this was our first time. The host spoke to someone, and out from the kitchen comes a sample tray with five cups of food to sample. Carne Asada, chicken, pastor, chorizo and Pableno Pepper sauce. We ordered the Cali Burritto. A Carne Asada burrito with fries, pico, and other fixings. It was huge, even after cut in half. I opted for two tacos, pastor which came with a slice of grilled pineapple and Chorizo. Both served on hand made flour tortillas and they were great. We also got an order of cheese fries. A small bowl of McDonald's size fries with shredded cheese and a light cheese sauce melted on top. It was great, paired with a homemade jalapeño ranch sauce. Finished with a fresh strawberry horchata drink in a large mason jar and a mango melon drink. 6:50 each, yet well worth the cost. So if you're looking for something other than Tex-Mex fusion Mexican food, or if you're missing tasting real authentic Mexican food without having to drive to San Antonio, then drive on over to Leander. Once you pull into the lot, right of Smoky MO's just behind the jewelry shop. Enjoy! Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Best meaty, flavorful barbacoa tacos I've had! Optional toppings of fresh chopped onion and cilantro is the perfect amount. (I always order two, on flour tortillas) They serve it on a PLATE, with slices of fresh RADISH, GRILLED onions, a whole, roasted spicy hot PEPPER, a tasty whole mini POTATO,, fresh made red, green (or both!) SALSA , and a LIME wedge! These are good sized tacos, filled with tender beef. Not overly salted, or greasy, or dripping in orange oil or filled with nasty gristle. Just lovely, perfectly seasoned meat. We also order egg and bacon and egg and potato. Always consistent, fresh and fast. Keep this food truck in business! Order from them! We call in our order ahead, and then go pick it up. Never had a wrong order! They have a, cute, well cared for food truck, friendly staff, the outdoor area for eating/waiting is clean, and an assigned parking area (unpaved) is to the right. *(Try not to use the car wash they share the lot with for parking.) **FYI- Their Cedar Park location has fantastic carne guidsada but they don't offer it in Leander. Only change I'd suggest is to have both at both locations!

There's gravel/dirt parking next to it, but you can park along the marked curb at the car wash as well. I've tried their tostada, gordita, tacos, and torta, and all have been really solid to fantastic. For proteins I usually love to get lengua, but this place doesn't have my favorite. Instead at Taco Mana I suggest the Al pastor, carne asada, or others. My favorite so far has been an al pastor tostada, loaded with fresh toppings and a great portion of meat. Next favorite is the torta, served on a nice and soft bolillo roll, then a tie between the gordita and tacos. I see a lot of people getting their ceviche and it looks fantastic, so that's next on my list of things to try. Also, the people running it couldn't be more nice.

Today was maybe the last time he goes. He waited in the drive thru behind someone for 25 minutes. What is happening with your service? A few things that are CONSISTENTLY terrible and don't make sense: 1. He asks for both kinds of red salsa - spicy and mild. You keep giving him mild only. He drives away and it's wrong. Or, today, he had to knock and honk to get your attention to give him the right kinds. (You gave him 8 green salsas to start with, NO RED was in his original bag.) 2. Asked for cheese on all four bacon and egg tacos. Only got cheese on 2. Wtf. 3. Im adding pictures of the sausage and egg tacos that are FLAT compared to the other tacos. The other tacos were pretty full. 4. Long waits most of the time. Get your stuff together, El Patron.

Looked amazing. I ordered two ground beef tacos, one corn and one flour and the chicken enchilada salad. Wasn't sure what I was going to get so I thought I would try a couple things that I knew were safe. The corn tortilla tacos were not crispy, which is what I was hoping for so I would just stick with the flower next time Since I had my order to go. I was able to put that taco on my flat griddle and crisp it up a bit. The salad was definitely not what I was expecting. I thought it would be chicken with onions and peppers or something along the lines. I believe it said it had onions on the menu. However, it was a great salad. It had chicken, which was really good tomatoes and avocado. Very tasty but I could've use some cilantro or something on there so I dumped the green salsa on top and everything was delicious. Inside I am so happy to see they have a great beer selection! So I will be going back for those chips, salsa and a beer. My next visit. The place is small inside but clean the people inside were very nice and I think it's going to be a great place for me to go and catch up on my Spanish again because I am super rusty. Thank you for being patient. Sorry, just realized I did not take a photo of my tacos.

I had stretchy pants. Here's the thing: it's just not my type. It markets itself as upscale Tex-Mex, but the energy lands somewhere between diner bar and "your friend's uncle's patio party." Speaking of patio -- it's a popular smoking destination, and that smoky perfume tends to drift inside and join you for dinner. Nothing says "refined queso experience" like a subtle hint of Marlboro. Now, the service? Truly excellent. Our server was attentive, warm, and on top of everything. Five-star human. And the happy hour prices? Genuinely fantastic. Dangerous, even. If we're rating value and kindness, they win. But the food... oh, the food. It's not bad. It's just... emotionally neutral. I like my Tex-Mex either fresh and bright or deeply authentic -- something that makes me pause mid-bite and whisper, "yes." This felt more like food that clocked in, did its shift, and clocked out. Competent. Polite. Unmemorable. And that's kind of the whole vibe. The restaurant feels like it's still deciding who it wants to be when it grows up. Upscale? Casual bar? Neighborhood hangout? It's in its finding-itself era. We've all been there. I really do want to like it. I may even keep trying because I believe in second chances and queso redemption arcs. But for now, it's a 3/5. Great service. Great prices. A little smoky. A little unsure. Like a charming guy with potential who just hasn't figured himself out yet.
