In a shopping center with plenty of parking. It was almost full when we arrived one or two tables left and were full by the time we ordered. We ordered a few drinks cacao, passion fruit and horchata. I ordered a couple of pupusas steak and cheese and shrimp and cheese. I loved the steak and cheese but I thought the shrimp and cheese was a little lacking the bite I took did not have any shrimp. I would go back for the steak and cheese and try the pork. I had the steak with plantains, cabbage, rice and beans. I thought the steak was tasty with the rice and beans and I love plantains so I liked my dish. The talapia was fried and tasty. The soup had shrimp, clams, muscles and fish which was good but I think by the time the pupusas were gone we were pretty full. I would get the asada steak and pupsas again. This new Pupusa spot is located right in a shopping center with a ton of parking, plenty of tables inside to sit and enjoy the food, and a large variety of both Salvadoran and Nicaraguan food to eat. I ordered: Pupusas: I ordered the revueltas with the beans, meat, and cheese inside. These are some of the best pupusas I've ever had! Well balanced and flavorful ingredients along with the curtido and roja sauce. Dorado tacos: same as flautas, these rolled up hard tacos were crunchy, flavorful, delicious. Stuffed with chicken and covered in cheese, lettuce, and sauce. Nacatamale: this is the best version I've tasted. Sometime these can be dry or have too much masa. That is not the case here, the masa, meat, etc was all evenly distributed. Chicken tamale: this was an excellent tamale, I would highly recommend. I also had the passion fruit and cacao drinks that were solid. The service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable. The ambiance and service are great! The music was on point! The food was a bit too greasy. The pupusas are huge and tasty but greasy. The nacatamal is enormous. Not my favorite and mushy, but I am not a big tamal fan so don't take my word on that one. The Plato Nica is enough for two or three people. My favorite part of it was the chicken and the slender fried banana chips. The little relish is divine and so is the salad. The fried cheese is too greasy and the soft plantains are sweet and yummy. I don't care for the rice and beans because they were a bit flavorless for my Mexican taste. The yuca frita was good and the salsa it came with was the best and spicy. The camarones a la plancha looked great but didn't try them. The star of the show had to be the drinks. The agua de guanábana is divine! But the cacao drink is heaven! I will definitely be back for the drinks. It is a bit pricey so it's more like a treat. I would recommend it at least to try once because you can experience several cuisine in one place. This restaurant is more Salvadorian than Nicaraguan or centro American. I have tried The tacos, which tastes more like Mexican flautas than Nicaraguan tacos. The Nacatamal, (without flavor and without raisins and olives and $15 dollars very expensive for a big Salvadoran tamal. the green banana slices with cheese (the banana is not at its point and the Cabbage salad very tasteless! I'm not very happy. It was very disappointing. it's just that if you're going to open a restaurant claiming to sell a food for a certain country, at least make sure there's someone from that country that know how to cook that food . I asked to talk to the owner to comment and give her a constructive criticism and the cashier/waitress told Me is not possible and he will be telling the owner but he acted very unprofessional by laughed of me with other guests at the restaurant.
