If I could give zero stars, I would. The absolute worst service!! We waited 30 minutes for a drink that never came. The food is ok, but there are way better places in the Antelope Valley to eat. We had to ask for our bill several times before she brought it. When she finally Ran my card she brought back the receipt and held our card until we signed the receipt. I asked for my card back and she just pointed to the signature line on the receipt. I told her to give me my card back because she already ran it and after asking multiple times she handed it over but proceeded to stand there until we filled out the tip portion. First time here food waiting time was a bit long but it's because they only had one waitress helping 5 families and 5 families sounds like a lot of food and a lot of food cooking means chef is keeping busy which explains the waiting time so it's common sense to me that as an opening restaurant they lack staff. But I got to say it was definitely worth the wait I loved every single dish we ordered I will post pictures ! I hope there waiting time gets better and they hire more staff oh and have the bar guy there everyday ! Not only will this give him 5 stars but will definitely come really close to becoming the best restaurant in the AV !! By the way the only waitress that was there Wednesday evening was great ! I enjoyed agua Chile's con callo and a diablo to drink , they where amazing . Excellent customer service , yummy food , enjoyable drinks . Perfect for dinner with friends or on a date with your significant other . I recommend the empanadas de camarón that my hubby had they are amazing . First off we where brought to a dirty table then I come to realize after sitting there for about 15 minutes before anyone helped us. I noticed tables that had not been cleared and looked like it had been there for quite a while. Table was sticky a d dirty I brought my own wipes and wipes the table down only to see how dirty the wipe was. Then I proceeded to order for me and a party of 8 people. It took almost an additional 15 min to get our drinks and ONE SALSA AND CHIPS , obviously not enough for 8 people. We did not get our food at the same time, 6 people got there food and the other tow waited and additional 15 minutes for food. Anything we asked for took very long to get and the staff was not polite or helping at all. And this is coming from a person of Latino descent. Never again !!! read more

Let's star off by saying the food is amazing!!!! The flavor of the salsas are good and the shrimp are huge! The place is nice and cold. The decorations are stunning but the music is kind of loud but thats fine. The service is good!, the lady was nice but she wouldn't stop picking up the trash from my table she was kind of annoying crossing her hand in front of my food.... First off the food here is amazing. We have tried almost everything and we can't say something wasn't good. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the service. The waitresses say hi coming in, sit you down and you wait at least 7-10 minutes before they ask you what you would like to drink. After that once you upstart to ask for things in the side (napkins, salsa, anything extra) they look at you walk away and if they remember they bring it to you and walk away again without asking if you need anything else. We usually have to get their attention for a refill. I definitely recommend the food here but be prepared to receive not so good service. read more

This place is aight.. over priced. Service is slow. Bought $50 worth of food and was charged for an extra salsa $1. There goes your tip . I dont have a problem paying for good food and service but this isn't that place. Ordered 6 oysters "preparadas ", with ceviche on top. They said it was the last of the oysters and they were small. Therefore gave me 9 instead of 6. My wife just threw up because she bit into a rotten oyster. You could imagine what that smells like. I live in the AV for the last 14 years. I don't get how anyone can like the food here. When I ordered my shrimp, it was rather cold and some had the shells on. Paying $18 for a sub-par meal is not exactly my kind of thing. Also, I asked for a high chair upon entry and I was holding my child on my seat for about half an hour. I asked about 3 times before I pulled a chair up on the table and they noticed that I was mad and finally gave me my damn chair! Came to eat here and let me tell you this is not where you want to be if you are starving. Brought my family here. They all ordered tostadas de ceviche and I ordered fried fish. 30 minutes later my food still wasn't ready. She said they were still preparing it.... After 20 minutes they were still preparing it... Took them 25 minutes to get my Sprite as well... No apologies or nothing.... Fam liked their food.. I even had to tell them not to even bring out the food no more. Shrimp cocktail was fresh and really tasty, for ordering a small ($10) it had so many shrimps, my michelada was pretty big and really good, spicy and tangy good mix to it, aguas chile was spicy, with good amount of lemon flavor, fajitas where seasoned really good and came with rice, beans and salad. Over all the food was all really good, prices where not bad, the Fajitas, aguas chile, shrimp cocktail, michelada, and 2 mineral waters and 1 orchata, we also ordered a 7 mares to go bill came out to $75. Cool hidden spot, our waitress Marlene was awesome, super attentive, very nice and on top of things, great customer service. Their drinks look ridiculously good have to come back and try that chapito drink! My personal opinion like this place better than Las Islas Maria's I just feel the prices are more reasonable, and the food is super fresh, more inviting, and the waitresses and employees are nicer, just more welcoming overall. PROS - clean - good music - good food - fair price - enjoyed the decor CONS - no child friendly meals - cheese-sticks were the worst - long wait for our food and refills - waitress did not look happy The tostadas the camarón cocido were delicious.
