I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Oreo crepe, but it was nothing like a crepe. The texture was more like a thick pancake it was dry, chewy, and difficult to eat. It definitely wasn't worth the money I paid. I want to mention that the employee who helped me was very polite and kind when I brought up my concerns. When I told her about the quality of the crepe, she agreed to make me another one because she said the batter used wasn't the one she had made it was prepared by another employee. I appreciated her willingness to remake it, and I agreed. However she told me they couldn't make a new one because the milk was still frozen and it would take a while to thaw. At that point, I was left with no real resolution. There was no replacement, no refund, and no alternative offered. The no-refund policy was especially frustrating. As a customer, it doesn't seem fair that I have to accept poor quality food simply because of that policy. If the product isn't made properly or doesn't meet basic quality standards, there should be a reasonable way to make it right. The ordering process was also frustrating. I originally ordered the Dubai flavored crepe, but I was told the sauce was too watery, so I had to change my order. They then suggested the classic crepe, but said they didn't have bananas. I switched to the Oreo crepe, and once again the employee had to check if they even had the ingredients. My question is: why are these items on the menu if the ingredients aren't available? I understand they had just opened for the day, which is why I stayed patient and didn't complain about the wait. I wasn't rushing anyone and was happy to wait for my order. Unfortunately, after being understanding throughout the entire process, I ended up with a crepe that was dry, chewy, and not enjoyable to eat. I appreciate the employee's friendly attitude throughout the experience, and I don't blame her for trying her best with the situation. My disappointment is with the lack of preparation, inconsistent ingredient availability, poor food quality, and the fact that I was left without any meaningful resolution. I hope the business improves its quality control, ensures menu items are actually available before selling them, and considers a more customer friendly policy when the food served doesn't meet basic expectations.

Visitation Rights: Been to this location once, but didn't realize that I've been to the El Monte location couple of times before. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Location/Parking: Located inside the Haven City Market in West Covina. Parking can be in the shared lot up front. Ambiance/Decor: Not much ambiance, but there is a neat background that instagram worthy thing to take a picture with. Service: The staffers was very nice, attentive, and offered great recommendations. Note: Ask for samples, you can try every single flavor if you like. Aguas Frescas Of Choice: Decided on the dragonfruit. It's kinda on the sweet side, but very good and refreshing. You can also mix some flavors if you like. El Chamango For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back when I patronized the Haven City Market food hall or going to the El Monte location that is much closer to me.

Honestly if I saw the price tag I wouldn't have gotten it. Their TV screen that was probably their menu or something was turned off, so all I saw was their row of bright fresh looking agua frescas. This location of El Chamango is located inside the Haven City Market in West Covina. The staff was friendly and inviting with their offer for samples. I was lured by their friendliness and exotic flavors. I tried the soursop but it tasted a little diluted. I asked the girl helping me which one is her favorite flavor and she recommended the guava hibiscus. Mhmmm better... Maybe a tad sweet but these drinks are premade so you can't adjust. At least I like that it was a flavor you can't really get at most other places. Guess how much. $9! It was literally more expensive than any of the food items I got that day. Lesson learned. Nice to try but I won't be coming back.

I love fresh fruit agua frescas! When I saw El Chamango at Haven City Market West Covina, I knew I had to pay them a visit. They offer complimentary samples on all their flavors. You may ask for as many samples as you like. I almost tasted all of them. The ladies who work here are super friendly and patient. The containers of the agua frescas are behind a clear plastic wall just high enough for you to reach over and grab the sample. I really liked the hisbiscus guava so I got that one. I liked their cucumber lime and watermelon, too, but I had to save those for my future visits. I was slightly disappointed with soursop... it needs more soursop. Anyway, it comes in one cup size only and it's a pretty big cup. I'll have to come back to get their other flavors. Thanks El Chamango!

By far the best agua fresca I've ever had! This El Chamango is inside the West Covina New Haven City Market on the left side. I went by one of my good friends' recommendation of mixing my favorite Hibiscus agua fresca with their dragon fruit. I instantly fell in love with its fresh tasting and bright floral flavor. It instantly shot to the top of my list as my all-time favorite agua fresca ever! It's also not too overwhelmingly sweet. If you'd like to try it, it's 3/4 part hibiscus and 1/4 part dragon fruit. The gal who helped us was also super sweet and helped us take our group photo. She offered samples of all the flavors, too, and was very accommodating to us! There's just something about enjoying a hydrating agua fresca with friends out in the sun to get your daily vitamins and minerals from fruit. I'll definitely be back to enjoy my favorite Hibiscus+dragon fruit agua fresca!

Nothing gets better ending the day of eating food with some fresh aguas frescas! Their cucumber lime is super refreshing and a great pick me up for those who like lime-flavored drinks. The dragon fruit drink was delicious with sweet nodes. They offer free samples as well to try more flavors! The cup size is also pretty filling. Overall, I look forward to getting my drinks from here every time I visit Haven City. Definitely looking forward to trying more flavors!

$15 for this small one fold crepe, no filling!! Melty heavy whip cream and not much of anything for that price. Wouldn't recommend

$15 for this one fold crepe. Very melty and heavy whip cream and can't taste much of anything Becasue there isn't that many toppings. Wouldn't recommend!! Too expensive for nothing g

If you're looking for a cheap Agua Fresca, this isn't your place! It'll run you $18 for 2. But they let you mix them if you want to blend different flavors, and the cup is pretty big. When I was there, they only had 1 employee, but she held it down, and she was very nice and polite. The drink was good! Idk if it was $9 good, but it was good.

The asada is premium steak chunks that is superior to any other asada you would get from a regular taco spot. The watermelon juice is one of the most refreshing drinks one could get on a hot day. The hard shell crunchy shredded beef tacos are so huge, i got full off one on one visit to thus spot. The nachos are heavy as hell and totally worth ordering. The service can take a little bit if time if there is other cars in the drive thru... but, it's well worth the wait. If you hungry... this place will not disappoint. This will not only fill your hunger, it will change your life. Good food, great service, friendly employees. Try the Habanero hot sauce while you are there. That hot sauce is one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and try this amazing fast food spot.

When I was a little kid, my dad loved going to El Loco for the machaca burritos. I remember them being really good, although in fairness, my palate at the time was probably not exactly Michelin ready. So when I realized this El Loco was still around, I had to come check it out for old time's sake. I went with the chili relleno burrito, and I'm happy to report that it was delicious. And enormous. This thing was so big I could probably take a nap on it. It was cheesy, packed with flavor, and just plain old satisfying. There is one little caveat, though. I noticed the total seemed too high when I paid, and sure enough, I had been overcharged by about four bucks. I pointed it out, and the woman immediately apologized and said she'd made a mistake. I don't think there was anything nefarious going on, but it did leave me wondering how often a mistake like that goes unnoticed when someone isn't paying close attention. So, you know, maybe keep an eye on your receipt. Still, that's a relatively minor ding on what was otherwise a really good experience. The burrito was great, the nostalgia was strong, and I got to revisit a place that I remember from when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. And here's a fun little piece of movie trivia: Good Burger, starring Kenan Thompson, was filmed at this very location. No, but tell you what, these were an 8 since we are comparing. NOW, the next day, I heated up the leftover 2 tacos in my air fryer at 425 for 6 min. Guess what? Heavy, packed with moist rice, melted cheese, birria and shrimp. Only modification we ask for was no pico and no chipotle crema. The shrimp was freshly cooked on the plancha and to perfection (had a snap). I was worried at first, no one wants rubbery shrimp. This was by far our most favorite item, and probably the best burrito i've ever had!!!! My husband said he'll buy me my own next time. Sorry, I don't have a photo. We gobbled that up so quick.
