I have been here several times now as it is close to my house. I have been happy every time! It has been just me, takeout for me, my wife and I, and a group as large as 10. Service is always good. With cold beer and good margaritas. The food has always been fantastic! I get the Pollo El Charro. It is so dang good. And is a large portion. Everyone I have been with has loved their food also. Great Mexican Joint in Young Harris/Hiawassee area. There are several and this is our go to.

Great fried ice cream very nice presentation

Great food Taco Tuesday great value Guacamole very good big serving. Staff very attentive with refills quick service Sometime a little noisy when 2 different play list playing along with TV. Don't skip the fried ice cream dessert

    Cover of extensive menu.

Our party of 11 arrived at our scheduled reservation time of 1830. Seating took a few minutes due to the restaurant being packed. The menu had an extensive list of choices. I ordered two chimichangas and was disappointed by the lukewarm temperature, taste, and texture. They were covered with a non-descript white cheese sauce which made them soggy. While the accompanying chips were crispy, the salsa was rather bland. A major mistake was made on my grandson's bean burrito, and my older granddaughter's order arrived after most of us were finished.

Just opened. Not excellent, but good food. Salsa was a little thin. Authentic tacos were good, no grilled onions on them minus, but they do have tomatillo sauce, so plus there. It's in an awful spot for visibility, since we've lived here I think they're the 5th restaurants here. Unfortunately our little four town are already has 6 Mexican restaurants, so they're a seventh. I think that actually makes more Mexican restaurants then fast food places . . . .

Chips, yummy cheese dip & salsa.

The food was great & portions were plentiful. The guacamole was fantastic! The ambiance was typical with some outdoor seating. The service was lacking but overall I would go back.

Very cool place. shh it's a secret. It's like you were…read moreinstantly ported back to the 1920's right in the middle of prohibition. A very charming unassuming little boutique store front with some tee shirts and souvenirs when you first walk in. Then you whisper the magic password and the gentleman escorts you through a narrow little doorway, a vestibule and door then opens to a perfectly recreated 1920's prohibition speakeasy. The motif is perfect from vintage art work on the wall to the hanging chandeliers and the big leather couches and chairs all in a very dark lighting. There is one way glass so you can see whoever comes into the store ( police or significant other) but they can't see you! Lol. And you can't leave through the front where you came in. You are guided to the back of the establishment to the back door which lets out into a narrow gangway then to the alley. I think Al Capone himself was going to jump out at me. lol. The bartenders/ mixologists further raise your experience by providing enjoyable banter and well made cocktails. Espresso Martini's and a Donut Raspberry Cheesecake were the drinks and dessert of choice and both were amazing. If you wind up going I suggest for you gals, a flapper dress with the beads and sequins with a cocoon coat and some tee strap heels. Guys your fanciest fedora and some two tone lace up oxfords. Either way you're gonna have a Roaring 20's great time. Let me know if you're interested and I'll tell the password or yiu you have dinner upstairs at The Roof, tell them you want the password for The Door.
