Omg this is so far my favorite place to grab some Mexican food when I go to L.A. I don't like burritos from any place but from here hell yes, no lettuce or tomatoes in this burrito its not taco bell status Its home cooked Mexican food. Pastor tacos are so good everything so far I have tried is good the super burrito is crazy huge that has lettuce and tomatoes in it prob just because they need stuff to fill it with because of its crazy size, it takes up a whole take out box all the way around, anyways its real small inside no bathrooms but everytime I go people usually are there to pick up orders. Chi-Chis Christ! This place is awwwwwwsooome! Bueno, bonito y barato! (good, nice and cheap) I had a special burrito de asada and flautas to go... My mouth is watering from just thinking about it... Well My burrito was superb, all the right amount of everything: rice, beans, carne, salsa, sour cream, guac and cheese. Nothing overpowered anything, the meat was cooked right and non of that fat other places have. My flautas were crunchy, and they packed on the guac and cheese. The serving size is huge so I got to have to have a nice lunch the following day. My order was ready in 15 minutes and they gave me extra spicy salsas at no charge... I would go for their chicken torta. It was pretty good, until I found a hair in my food. I decided to give them another try and this time no hair. BUT beware; their pico de gallo salsa by the wall will go bad on a hot day. It was disgusting! I had to throw away my entire torta because I decided to put the pico de gallo inside. After this day I decided never to return. Guess what? I returned because it's close to my job and I was craving a torta. I would always ask for the torta in a box because I am not at home, it gets messy and I need a plate. The last time I called, they said nope they cannot do that "it is wrapped in foil". Let me start by saying that this isn't the type of place you would enjoy to sit in and have your meal. It really is a hole in the wall type of place with not much to look at. But if all you care about is taste, quality and value, then this might be a great find for you. Just order to go! I love the wet super burritos here. They have the best tasting carne asada burritos and they are absolutely massive. I am a 200 lb man. And can easily put down half and still have the other half for leftovers the next day. We decided to check out this place since I was craving chorizo con papas and hoping I could find an authentic place. We stumbled on this establishment and have to admit, its very small but is a great hole in the wall. I was able to find the breakfast item and asked if possible to add papas. The cashier said that would be no problem. Hubby ordered a carne asada quesadilla who told me it was hands-down the best one hes had at a restaurant. There was another chilito restaurant we used to go to which closed down. But this location has better meat and are generous with sauce so far. I love their tejuino too... Was very inspired by this place. A friend recommended it to me, and currently, I am sitting in a plastic chair, far away from El Chilito as I received this order to go, picking it up from the restaurant and bringing it outside, in a bag, into my car, driving to this location, where I got out and I am sitting in this plastic chair. I did not eat the food in this chair, my friends. I ate the food from El Chilito in my car. Chomping down, enveloping the burrito with my broken mouth, saucing and crunching my little burrito in my little hand, in my little fingers, crunching away at the food. Sauce, tasty asada, bits of cilantro and onions, my little teeth gnashing away my throat swallowing, following you on Instagram. The moment of this dear pancake up in my spot, here I go, going hard, spinning it off. On the side, complimentary if you'd like, were some fresh and hot chips. I was sure to be parched, and I crushed a tasty and textured horchata as well, afterwards chewing the ice, again, gnashing the ice with my little shrimpy teeth, and turning the ice into slushy water down my simple throat.
