1 star was deducted for not having churros at el churrito loco . The service was great really fast and efficient no issues there. The ambiance is pretty chill the inside offers various sitting booths a few cool LED lights on the wall . The main centerpiece of the room was the LED butterfly . Lastly for the items ordered some small let downs were the fresh strawberry water tasted a bit like refrigerator .. like the syrup was sitting but the drink was still drinkable . The crepe was good could have been great but the portion of Ice cream for 15 dollars was a bit underwhelming and the temperature wasn't all that warm once served . All things considered would come back for a churro .

Great place for your favorite snacks, ice cream, burgers, Frys, etc. Highly recommended There is something for everyone.

I was craving some late night food and wanted to give this place a try. It was just okay. Food- it is a little pricy for being "quick" options. My husband got the pico hotdog, and we shared the mozzarella sticks and classic churro. Nothing stood out, however, the fries were very similar to the golden arches. Churro was very dense and the cheesesticks were not melty. Service, our order took over 20 minutes to get with another couple who got theirs first even though they ordered after us. What we thought would be a quick in n out meal kept us there longer than expected. They were nowhere near busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior of this place is different, this would be a cool late night spot but they are only open until 9:30.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While the decor is interesting the lighting situation left me nauseated. There's bright fluorescent lights and fans that repeatedly go over them and cause a light strobe effect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall nothing in comparison to a traditional street dog.

I got the churro Loko and got a scoop of chocolate and coffee ice cream and the presentation was solid but I couldn't help but the notice the sour taste in the ice cream almost like it was expired. The churro was good but I couldn't take anymore bites of the ice cream so I started smelling it and it smelled sour. I threw it away as soon as I smelled it . But as I'm writing this review my stomach seem upset hopefully not food poisoning but yeah really disgusting ice cream. Food shouldn't make you want to question if it's expired or not. I really hope it wasn't.

The lady was so rude and messed up my order and my crepe wasn't made good and the ice cream was all melted before I even left the parking lot

I was picking up a couple dumbbells off Saratoga and low and behold, NEW CHURRO JOINT! In anticipation of future workouts, I decided to stop by and try a plain churro. They have filled churros and the "loko" options with glaze, sprinkles, and ice cream as well. I went w the plain bc I didn't want too much sugar before dinner. People who ordered were waiting outside and came in when their orders were ready. Between ordering and getting it in my hand, it took about 6 minutes. Pretty fast! It was about a foot long and an inch thick. Exterior provided a nice crunch and the inside was soft, just how I like it! There was plenty of cinnamon sugar that adhered to the churro, so no bite was tasteless. Happy to have dropped by. Will definitely come through again when I'm in the neighborhood

Spotted this place randomly while in the area. I hesitated to go due to the reviews but gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. I ordered churros, raspados and hot Cheetos with nacho cheese and jalapeños which are bomb. The raspados here they give you a good amount too and it has a lot of flavor! The churros are good as well, it didn't take long for them to make as a previous reviewer mentioned so maybe they changed it up since I've been here a couple times and didn't have to wait long at all. They have ice cream which is from thrifty I noticed which is always good. Always stop by whenever I'm in the area since it doesn't get crowded and lots of parking.

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

It took about 20-30 minutes for her to come back and take our food order after we placed our initial drink orders with her. Throughout the dinner, her demeanor felt very passive aggressive, and there were several moments where we felt like we were being given attitude despite everyone in our group being polite. My friend asked for extra olives with his martini and she responded with a rude "Really?" while making a face. It was such an unnecessary reaction to a totally simple and normal request. She also recommended that we order family style, which we followed, but the pacing between courses was extremely slow. We waited around 30+ minutes between our pasta and our protein entrees. For a restaurant that specifically recommends family style dining, the courses should be paced more appropriately so the table isn't sitting around waiting for the next round of food. The birthday cake situation was also frustrating. We had given our cake to the hostess when we arrived, but I guess our server was never notified of that. When I asked about a candle, she said she would bring it out with the birthday dessert, but brought out the restaurant's dessert instead. When she realized we had our own cake, she immediately took the bill back and said she needed to add the cake fee. The issue with that was we weren't asking them to cut or plate the cake. We just wanted to sing Happy Birthday, then have it boxed back up. She had assumed we wanted the cake service without actually asking us, and when we clarified, her response was, "Well, that's why I asked earlier," even though she hadn't actually asked us. None of us gave her a hard time or were anything but polite throughout the evening, which made the repeated attitude especially disappointing. The food wasn't terrible and the drinks were great, the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but spending around $900, which included a 20% automatic gratuity, you'd expect the service to match the price point, even though service should always be good regardless. Unfortunately, the poor service really overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my friend and left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)
