Food was mediocre and service was horrible. Got a two item combo and the chile relleno tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the last 5 hours. Waited 10 minutes to even be greeted and the girls started to ask each other if we had been helped yet. Very delicious Mexican food! Price is very reasonable with great costumer service. They have a salsa and chip bar which was amazing. We had the shrimp tostada, enchiladas, carne asada fries and chorizo and eggs... Everything was perfect! The only downside was the wait... Decided on this place after yelping and looking around for a decent restaurant in the area. The restaurant is definitely clean, good customer service. Ordered the "Corral burrito" for my husband and the chile relleno burrito for me. Ordered to take out and the order was reedy in about 5 minutes. We found this little family Mexican restaurant on our way to the Ontario Airport after spending a great weekend at the Mission Inn in Riverside, Ca. The El Corral is one of the very best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. The food is fresh, expertly prepared, consistent with their family traditional family recipes from their famous El Corral Chile Verde House specials. I ordered the El Corral House Special Burrito w/chile Verde Pork, rice, and beans. The serving was large enough for two meals, in which I did split the order and took half with me to Phoenix. The staff was very friendly, prompt, and the service was five stars in a very friendly oriented restaurant. We will return for a meal on our next trip to Riverside and so should you. read more

The way folks reviewing this place were going on and on, I thought this place would become a new favorite. However, this place was just okay. Not a fan of places where you have to get your own chips and salsa. Thought the salsas were okay but not fantastic. Place has zero ambiance with El Torito prices. Have always loved their food, still do! The issue I have is cost. Went in on 5/17/18, ordered the #5 2 cheese enchiladas and the #4 2 tacos, my daughter requested carne asada for her tacos and just cheese, nothing else on them. We drank water, I went to pay my bill and it was $30.92! Apparently carne asada is an extra $3.45 & cheese is an extra $1.35!!! At no time when placing the order were we told of these extra charges. I love, love, love the food here!! Very authentic Mexican food! The service is great too. The must try here is "el corral enchiladas" which is chicken enchiladas topped with chile verde, cheese, and sour cream! All of the salsas are good too. By far the best menudo in the area as well!!! read more

First time trying their POSOLE bowls. It was exactly what i was looking for, the meat was extremely tender, the juice and spices were just the right amount(but you can always add more if you prefer). Once again first visit here, I was considering other restaurant for posole but damn great job guys can't wait to try your other dishes. I absolutely love this place. It's been consistently great every time we go. They have one of the best chilli verde burritos I've ever had! Their salsa is excellent! Food portions are huge and not super pricey. Me and my husband can share one burrito. Worst place ever...I get they are understaffed , two waitresses , no bus boy , no cashier . Sat for 15 minutes before we had to get up and ask for a menu , and have our table cleaned off. Then sat for another 25 , usually I'm not that patient but we were so hungry . Older waitress just doesn't care , I would have been sympathetic if they would have acknowledged us but nope. Younger waitress seemed ok but we sat in the wrong booth of course. Older waitress didn't even acknowledge us as we walked out.
