This place is amazing!!! We were visiting Williams and really wanted a beer and breakfast so we kinda picked this place because of the beer sign out front. I'm glad we did. The food was so good and the wood work decor was great. My husband had a traditional American breakfast and loved it. I got tacos because I needed to try their salsa. The tacos came Al pastor and with tons of meat on them. The lovely waitress gave me red and green salsa and though I usually love red, I liked the green the most. This place is awesome! It's right on the main drag in town. The restaurant itself is one giant room and has a really interesting western Decour. Chips and salsa are $3.99, but well worth it! You get a heaping basket of fresh and thick tortilla chips. The salsa is delicious and has a little bit of a kick with chopped up jalapeños. I ordered the Chile Rellano meal. It comes with a side of rice and beans, and soup of the day. The soup was delicious! It was tomato-based broth with veggies and thin spaghetti type of noodles.The rice and beans were almost so really good. You can tell that the beans are homemade and cooked with a ham hock, as they have a very smoky meaty flavor. The rice is also very flavorful, which is unusual for a lot of restaurants. My chili Riano was amazing! It's huge as it's made with a poblano pepper. It's stuffed full of stringy white cheese , Covered with a light breading and smothered in their homemade red sauce. It Also has a bit of a kick. My husband ordered the soft chicken tacos which also came with all of the sides. He said they were really good, I liked the fact that the chicken was very lightly seasoned. It appears to be family run, and the service was impeccable. CAUTION: THEY CHARGE FOR CHIPS AND SALSA. It would have been nice had they told us they charge for chips and salsa and not be surprised when we received our bill. It may have been an oversight on our part if it's listed on the menu, but since most Mexican restaurants offer these for free, they should have communicated this fee. We went at a peak time and were seated after a 45 minute wait. After ordering our food, it was brought out to our table in a timely manner. The food was good and good portions. Our food came out fast and man was it delicious!! My husband ordered the huevos rancheros with green chili and he was floored. He said it was very flavorful and not overly spicy and WAS THE BEST GREEN CHILI PORK he had EVER HAD. Now let me preface this by saying that my husband has worked in the food industry all his life, most recently in food supply, and chili is one of his favorite foods. This is a big deal for him to make a statement like this and I'm happy we found this place for him. On to my dish: I ordered the pozole because I MEAN‍‍‍. It did not disappoint. Our original plan took a turn this weekend. So my amazing wife planned a quick little get away to Williams Az. We stumbled across the hidden gem. All I can say is WOW!! The food here is amazingly authentic. I had the huevos rancheros and my wife had the chilaquiles. You'd be shocked at how amazing the dishes are. We proceeded to sample the green Chile chicken pozole and the chorizo both also amazing. This establishment is a definite must try. I guarantee you'll love it. You can't order food Ala carte they want you to buy a full meal even though you can only eat a small portion. They don't have a good selection of salad dressings. Their chips taste like cardboard and salsa is gross. I'm a local and I would highly recommend Nanys Mexican food instead. The Mexican food here is terrible. read more

Fantastic Mexican food!! We had dinner here and liked it so much we came back for lunch the next day. Dinner was Chile relleno and pesole verde. Both were homemade and absolutely amazing! We also tried the flan and was very impressed - again homemade. Lunch was not as good as dinner but we wanted to see what else they offered. Huevos rancheros was very good and the chicken enchiladas were better than average. Pass on the jalapeño poppers - there the frozen and fried variety. Located right on the Main Street in Williams, (situated conveniently next to the cutest little coffee shop, Brewed Awakenings), sits El Corral. A tiny Mexican restaurant with a large menu, this place is so small that if you blink, you'll miss it. Year after year, my family visits Williams and we eat at the same cafe across from the hotel. Partly because of tradition and partly because it easily accommodates all 20 of us. Every year, it's loud, the food is hardly edible, and the prices get higher. Every year we say we won't be back. Every year we end up there again. But not this time! I looked up breakfast places in Williams on yelp and found some pretty great reviews for this little hole in the wall. I called and spoke to Amy who couldn't have been nicer and gladly made the reservation for 20 people for 8am on Sunday, the day after their biggest tourist night of the year. (Santa comes on Saturday night and lights the town Christmas tree.) Sunday morning, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and shown to a table they had ready for us. The waitress was efficient and friendly. She handled the 20+ orders with ease. The wait was minimal for the food and they refilled coffees and drinks so regularly that we never made it half way through our drinks. 20 people ordering means 20 different opinions and when you are the one to suggest a new restaurant it can be a little nerve wracking. (What if it's awful? I will never hear the end of it!) I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. My sons ordered chorizo con huevos and cinnamon vanilla French toast. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros. My mom and nephew both ordered pancakes and bacon. Several others ordered banana bread French toast and sadly a couple people ordered oatmeal. Once we all had our food, the craziest thing happened. It got really quiet. Every single person, from two years old to 70 was so focused on eating their food that they'd completely stopped talking. Success! This place was soooooo good. Not one complaint from anyone. The pancakes were light and buttery. The hash browns were crispy and well seasoned. The green Chile gravy was a favorite. The chorizo and warm tortillas were so good that my uncle made them promise to still be open next year. Definitely try their pumpkin cookies and banana bread. 4 stars for food. 5 stars for service. Rounding up because it was the best meal we've had in Williams ever. We'll be back next year. read more

Literally one of my favorite restaurants in Williams. My family and I just moved to this small town from Out of state where Mexican food is hands down the Best Mexican Food You Will Ever Find... That's right, CALIFORNIA! So anyways, my family and I enjoy coming here because the service is great! The Food is delicious and it isn't that Tex Mex Crap you find in every other place. Definitely my go to spot for Mexican Breakfasts or Dinners when i'm to lazy too cook! We certainly enjoy their Fish Fry Fridays, well my husband does... which is ALL YOU CAN EAT. I stick to the fish tacos because I cannot eat that much. Other things I have tried here are the Machaca breakfasts, Chorizo breakfast and Chicken Corral Salad. I think what I most appreciate here is that you can order anything from the menu. If it's 9 am you can order from the dinner menu and vice versa. Like I said the staff is awesome. And they don't discriminate against tourists. With Williams being a tourist town I get the vibe that sometimes some businesses get annoyed with tourists,but not here! Definitely worth the trip if you are around visiting. read more

This place, for us, did not live up the the yelp stars. We came in here in the evening. Inside it is almost lodgelike, they have decorated the walls with the remains of slain animals. Not my cup of tea, I think there were two bison heads and two sets of elk horns. We got the chips and salsa, while they make you pay $3.99, there is a huge basket of decent chips and good salsa. They happily prepared what we did not use to go. We had three cheese enchiladas, and shrimp fajitas, both were service with beans and rice. They also served us some soup that would have been good but it was barely warm. The entrees were also just warm, and the enchiladas were probably frozen, they were that bad, very dry, not hot, may have been leftover. Shrimp fajitas were a bit better, but the onions were charred black. This food was just not good to us, I know I have had the same or better quality food in a Banquet brand frozen T V dinner, MSRP $1.79. This was almost $50 without tip, we had some stale iced tea and some decent hot tea also. It is not one star for the simple fact that the people who work here were nice. I would try something else next time we are in Williams. read more
