Live entertainment!! He was a hoot!

We came to Williams to do the Grand Canyon Railway for my birthday and Mother's Day weekend! The Grand Depot Café meal vouchers were included in our weekend stay. We had 2 dinner vouchers for the first night, 2 breakfast vouchers for the next day, then 2 more dinner vouchers for that night! And this place as so awesome!! The food was fantastic! Because it is buffet style, you choose what you want to eat and how much you want to eat! They also had a pasta station at dinner, and an omelet station in the morning! The wait staff were awesome, they were busy, but kept an awesome attitude and were always accommodating! Always tip your wait staff!!

Not amazing, but not too shabby. This was our lunch stop on a bus tour to the Grand Canyon and it was nice to fill our tummies with food. This place is right next to the Polar Express (very cool train and photo op!) The employees here were very efficient in funneling all the people that were coming through here from the bus tours (there were 6 buses the day we went). They gave us a table to sit at and took our drink orders (cold drinks) and then we were off to get our food. There was a salad bar and some soup options. Some pulled pork, veggies, bread rolls, and also dessert. Coffee and hot tea were self-serve in the center of where all the buffet food was. We were hungry enough to eat all of it and it wasn't bad.

We came here with a package deal for the train ride to the Grand Canyon and hotel stay at the Grand Canyon railroad hotel. The staff at the hotel, at the train depot, on the train, and at the restaurant were all excellent. The food at the café was very good. Filet Mignon for dinner as part of the buffet. All kinds of gravy and sauces, different kinds of potatoes and everything you can imagine. They had live music both nights that we were there. Breakfast was great too. They have a custom omelette station, Biscuits and gravy, all kinds of fruit. I would highly recommend the package. Five star service all around. The hotel was excellent too. Probably the quietest room that I've ever stayed in. We never heard anything in the hallways or through the walls. We look forward to our next visit already.

We ate dinner & breakfast here (included in our package). The food is buffet style. The food was pretty good. All of the staff we came in contact with was very nice. During breakfast in the morning there were cowboys wondering around talking with everyone & taking pictures. (We had a marshal & train robber) come to our table.

Really called Grand Depot Cafe... I think they wanted to bury the Fred Harvey name on Yelp... could not find it!

We bought a package that included train, hotel, bus and meals for this restaurant. Far and away, the WORST buffet I have ever had in my life! Horrific! First time ever that I tasted everything then left a full plate. The best part of the meal was the Coke and water! All of food was barely warm, tasteless, nearly empty. The soup was empty, the Mac and cheese was old, cold and gross. The prime rib was over cooked, dry, cold, tough and tasteless. The turkey was slightly warm and the dressing just looked gross.. I passed. My wife tried the fries, and they were so tough that she couldn't cut them with a fork. Her rice was dry and inedible. We thought... we still have 1 more dinner and 2 breakfasts to go... not gonna do that again! And it was for the bargain price of $25 a head! We asked for a refund for the balance of the meals and I do give them 1 star as they were great about processing the refund. Went to a local place this am for breakfast (Annie's) and it was wonderful!!

Real cool place. You can get coffee and light breakfast. The best part is the great gift shops inside. It's the beginning of the train trip to the Grand Canyon. It's unreal

Not many variety of food. We had a package deal with food/train to grand canyon. Had two dinners/breakfast. Everything was very bland for me. Steak was just meat, not much flavor. I did like their pasta station. Service was friendly and ok. Two days dinner had the same menu with just a few new dishes. If it was not a prepaid meal, we would have eaten somewhere else. Liked the live music and the food station decor.

Omelet bar was good.Potatoes good but all food was luke warm. It's ok for being in the package but wouldn't just come here. Staff was great

The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

The big fireplace and water stream make it feel so cozy. As we usually do, we saddled up at the bar. Service was okay; bartender seemed tired and wasn't overly friendly. He was fairly attentive though which was nice. We each ordered 2 pints of beer; Sacred Saguaro Mexican Lager, Haute Lager, Beach Camp Honey Kolsch, and the Prickly Pear IPA. If you're a craft beer enthusiast like my husband and I, you'll find their beers to be about average quality, but still hits the spot after a long day outside. For dinner, I ordered the Caprese Chicken Sandwich ($15) which was quite good with a large piece of grilled chicken and a soft bun; I'd order this again! My husband had the Beast Brat ($15) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We then ordered a basket of tater tots to share ($5) and it was a huge portion; we almost needed a 3rd person to help haha. We then ordered dessert to go - Sweet Fry Bread ($10) which curbed our sweet craving when we got back to the hotel. Overall, everything we ate was honestly very good; however, I will say for the price, the sandwiches and brats should automatically come with a side of fries or tots. For a la carte handhelds, I feel the price should have been $12 each. The sweet fry bread was also a very small portion for the price which also left us feeling a price point of $6 would've been more appropriate. Despite our small issue with the price point and so-so service, we'll be back. Can't go to Grand Canyon NP without stopping into Grand Canyon Brewing for an ice cold beer and maybe some food too.

The paper thin crust, the tangy sauce, and good quality cheese topped with a generous amount of fresh basil. Bonus for the red hot sauce (green tasted artificial) which I grabbed a spoon to taste with as soon as we sat down, I love hot sauce. And for the classic rock playlist. Highly recommend for a quick meal.

It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.
