This is a nightclub, plain truth. First and last time I'll be going here. We arrived for dinner at 6:30 and there was no one here. Parking lot was empty so we thought it might be closed. It was a Friday night which seemed weird it was empty. It took a while to get our drink orders but the bartender and server were incredibly friendly so all was forgiven. Still no customers eating dinner by 7:30 but a few regulars at the bar. Dinner was basic and it took forever to arrive. Im not sure why since we were the only ones eating. By 8:30 ish the DJ came in and set up and then people started coming in. I really wished we would have known it was a nightclub. It might have changed our decision to come. But at least we can say we tried it. 3 stars for the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. UPDATE!! Beware-Everyone that paid with a debit card at our table was double charged! Been 2 times. Food is good but a bit overpriced for the quality. Tried tacos, enchiladas and steak fajitas. Tacos and enchiladas do not come with sides. Also, was very awkward going to have dinner with my friend and a full on comedy show starts and they expect people to stop talking and pay attention. First time was okay but the waitress did not bother to check in on us as much back in February...But the recent time (April) it's was just awful. 1.The waitress charged me more than my friend and we ordered the same exact meal and the food was for takeout. 2. my parents said they just did not have any alcohol in their Mia tai's while they waited on their takeout and were not given half of their meal and STILL charged for the items. 3. I went for the first time with a friend and it was meh. I'd give it 2 1/2 Stars but it wont let me. We started off with breaded pickles. They were overly salty...not sure if it was from the pickle themselves or extra salt in the breading. The breading was good by itself, but I prefer more of it. You get a lot so make sure it's a good sized group. I had a steak medium rare, it came with veggies and a "twice baked" potato. You should not want steak sauce with a good steak, in my opinion it should be seasoned well and I did not have any seasoning. It was cooked perfectly and juicy. If you don't mind no seasoning then I recommend it. The potatoe was not a true twice baked which I was disappointed by. It was baked, the center was scraped but the cheese and little bit of sour cream where only on top not mixed with the middle.. My friend had the pan seared mango salsa tilapia. It came with rice and veggies. She said it was good but the mango salsa had barely any mango....for being a mango salsa it should be the highlight of it. The staff seemed friendly and was attentive, but we both felt very rushed to get out. The waitress told us to have a good night 2x. It wasn't busy nor was it close to closing so we felt that was a bit rude. The place it's self was very nicely put together. Disappointed to say that there's nothing special about this place. Just a generic menu, with a generic tap. Lots of tvs, so if you want to watch a game and scream at a TV, this place will do. If you're here for the food or drink, keep moving. Uninspired, meh tasting food offerings, the least seasoned "seasoned fries" I have ever had (about as seasoned as BK), and a meh tap list has cinched this as a "glad i tried it so i can scratch it off the list". I don't often write reviews for places that are less than mind blowing, but this place is still young and *might* survive as more than "generic" if they make some SIGNIFICANT alterations. read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Will not go back. At 6:30 on a Saturday you would think it would be busy but it wasn't. The host at the front greeted us and brought us to a table. We waited almost 10 mins for a waitress. She never greeted us just brought water, left, came back with chips and salsa, was about to leave but my husband called her back to give her our drink order and guacamole. The guacamole was pretty good but was also pretty pricey for what you got. The food came out pretty quick. His enchiladas were drowning in mole and came with beans and rice. My burrito was ok but that was all you get. We are scratching this one off the list for bad service and a pricey meal for not that great of food. Well, this was a bizarre experience. Let's start with the menu and food. It was fine. The menu is very burger heavy and there are truly no options for you if you need a gluten free diet. I'm gf and ate the nachos which were fine. We went to dinner with our almost 2 year old son who needed a diaper change. THERE ARE NO CHANGING TABLES!! Whaaaaa????? They have high chairs and a kids menu, but no place to change him. If you want to be a bar, be a bar. But if you want to be a restaurant don't act like you can accommodate kids when you can't. As much as you'd like to say "just change his diaper before you go" most parents know that's not how it works. The manager(?) knew I was annoyed by the lack of changing rooms but when she came to our table she didn't mention it or apologize for the inconvenience. It was just strange. Service was also just okay. I don't think we will be back. The menu online didn't match what they offered. Freshly retooled from Spotted Fox pub food to El Diablo Cantina, this place tries to come across as upscale Mexican food but falls a bit short at every angle. We gave this place two tries before reviewing. Both visits were at non-peak hours so they should be a good example of the quality this place can reach. I said "wow" several times while eating, but they weren't the "wows" you want. They were the "wows" of being astonishingly underwhelmed. The kind that accompanies the disbelief of "How did you f**k that up?" Everything we've had here was bland and overcooked. Don't get me wrong, the presentation was great and everything looked incredibly appetizing. I was a server for over 10 years, so badmouthing a server usually goes against my code. But come on, a "You're welcome" is the very foundation of human decency. You don't have to smile or tell jokes. You barely have to have a personality to earn 20% from me, but you do have to show up, know what I ordered, deliver what I ordered, ask how the food is, and be polite. Let's be clear, this is a management problem more than anything. All of those habits should be part of training. In an area already chock-full of better Latin restaurants and diners... Taqueria del Tio Ramos No Manches North of the Border El Faro Salsa Street Taco Bell XD ...you're gonna need to come at it with your A game to stay in business. My family lunch this past weekend was a solid experience. We kicked off with buffalo chicken dip and homemade chips and caramelized onion dip. The buffalo chicken dip was sooooooooooooo good. It was cheesy, tad of spice and topped with tomatoes and onion. The homemade chips and onion dip were very tasty but it was hard to focus on the onion dip when I was competing...I mean sharing the other dip with my family. I chose the half blt and upgraded waffle fries and soup lunch special. The soup was surprisingly good. Southwest beer cheese soup with beans with oyster crackers. It wasn't thick. A filling winter soup. The table started dipping the chips into it....yummy! The BLT was good. Lightly toasted bread. Simple and to the point. The waffle fries were very good too. Thin, crunchy....tasty! Husband ordered the fried chicken wrap tossed in their bbq sauce. He enjoyed it! Son got the cheesy, chicken loaded Alfredo Flatbread. Two thumbs up. Daughter same rating for her teriyaki chicken wings. The restaurant manager Laura was super nice. Visited the table often. She made us feel super welcome and always made sure our expectations were met. Nicole the server kept up with the kids/teens refills. We wanted to give this place a try and the only thing I didn't like was the food. I was just not impressed at all, not even a little. The place itself I thought was really nice and the hostess and our waitress were super friendly. I joked about how odd my sandwich looked when the waitresss brought it and she laughed and looked just as confused as I was. I'm not sure why the chicken looked like it did but it just didn't have much flavor at all and neither did the fries. The chicken was very tough and hard to eat it was just very odd and as much as I would love to give them another try I just don't know if I could. My husband and I wanted to try this place and were happy to see a Groupon $30 of food for $15. We went there tonight for dinner. The food was good and the service was pretty good. The problem was when the bill came I let the guy know I had a Groupon for $30. He took my phone and credit card and ran the bill. He came back to the table and showed me where they took the $25 off. I questioned him about the amount. He told me it was for $25, I showed him the Groupon amount. He ended up giving me $5 in cash so he wouldn't have to run a new receipt. Word to the wise, if you go there and use a Groupon make sure they take off the entire amount. read more

A great place to go to the bathroom if you are a polar bear. We went in yesterday to watch a basketball game and eat. The 40+ tv's could only get 1 channel---foot volleyball. We stayed anyway and the waitress was nice, the food was marginal. The fries were good-reminded me of Dennys, the sandwiches were boring, my wrap was a bigger version of the chicken wraps that they used to sell at Wendy's. No pickle spear, 3 ice cubes in each of our drinks, I guess if they were short on ice -they could've scooped up some snow in the parking lot. And that's what both bathrooms felt like--a parking lot-literally 15 degrees in there. Too bad, cuz the booths, the location, and the tv's all have the bones to be a great spot--but its not and for $14 a sandwich with no flavor-I won't be coming back. There is no way anyone but relatives could give their food high ratings. Hopefully they turn that kitchen around, get some heat and cleanliness, and pay their cable/satellite tv bill. read more

Gave this place a shot on our way home from the movies. Really crappy menu. Ordered the guacamole and salsa appetizer (we ordered entrees but didn't get that far) there was a pretty significant sized hard piece of plastic in our guacamole that my daughter pulled out! GROSS! My husband looked at the yelp review for this and the other location and made the executive decision to leave. As we were going (I'm assuming) the manager came over to ask what was going on and we told her to please cancel our order. Tried this restaurant for the first time. Definitely will be returning. Sat right away. Manager checked in on us within 5-10 minutes. Tried the buffalo wings and fried pickles. Probably best fried pickles I've had in a long time. Even with the shorter menu there were plenty of great options. Both had burgers, perfectly cooked and juicy. Wanted to give the new place a chance but... "SIR! IT'S CLOSED!!!" Staff member yelling at me midstream using the urinal AFTER I had my meal with a tall glass of beer. REWIND an hour before... Wanted to wash my hands BEFORE we ate and the greeter/hostess stops me to say they're having trouble with the toilet (same lady who threw the beer list paper menu at me, had better courtesy from a police officer giving me a warning ticket). Beer was not at its best cold temperature when served. Chicken wings: way too salty and felt newly thawed out. Staff passed us with our main order, totally lost and clueless, unable to locate our table, had to go back to the kitchen. All this time, manager-type spending an inordinate amount of time messing with the seating software. After 5 minutes, we're finally found. Burger: bun was cold, we asked for medium well... we got well done and dry and tasteless, nowhere near the description in the menu. After being disappointed about another place my friends and I went to, we decided to come here, since it was close by, to give it a try since we've never been here before. Our server, Frankie, was really nice and gave us the time that we needed to decide what we wanted to eat. I had the tacos and really enjoyed them while one of my friends got fish and chips and the other got a stake; they ended up taking home left overs, but I finished my food. They enjoyed their food as well. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars was because the music got really stupid loud at one point and it was really hard to hear when we were talking.
