This week I went to drop off some clothing items (14 pieces) as I've done many times in the past-- usually I run in from the 5 min parking in front and drop them... this time I was told I needed to leave a card on file for 10 items or more--and it wasn't in the nicest manner. I was taken back by this, because I'm consistent with weekly dropping off bulk items, and I asked if it was a new policy. The young guy at the counter said it was. I ran out to my car to retrieve my wallet and ran back to leave my card on file. I have to be honest, I'm really frustrated by this new policy requiring a credit card to be kept on file. I've been a loyal customer for years and have never had an issue paying or picking up my items, so this sudden requirement feels unnecessary and disappointing. What makes even less sense to me is that the dry cleaner already has my clothing. If I didn't pay, I wouldn't get my clothes back anyway, so there is already an incentive for customers to pay before receiving their items. Requiring a card on file on top of that seems redundant and, frankly, a bit unreasonable for long-time customers with a good payment history. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

NOT EVEN MY WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS COST THAT MUCH THIS IS SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!!!! Yes, in their defense, we needed the uniform altered as a rush order within 48 hours (could have dropped it off 72 hours prior but there alteration lady "called in sick" even though we went to two different Arya locations 72 hours prior to make an extended effort to drop it off beforehand) I AM EXTREMELY EXTREMELY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED IN THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRICING. If a customer is ever ever ever, going to be charged such a RIDICULOUS FEE for services provided they MUST BE TRANSPARENT & CLEAR WITH CUSTOMERS ABOUT PRICING BEFOREHAND, they 100000000% did not do this.
