Long story short... The formal debut dress I brought to get cleaned was stolen along with someone else's Padres Jersey. The story was that someone came into the back of the shop and took the items. After an argument asking to refund the full cost of the dress.. I finally got the refund. Unfortunately, we are longtime local customers and we are not coming back again. We have gotten many items cleaned by them, including my wedding dress. But the poor customer service and the way the situation was dealt with was very unprofessional. It surprised me that I had to negotiate getting refunded for their employee failing to watch the shop in broad daylight. They don't have any security cameras. And the front of the store is left unattended very often when there is only one person in the shop. Please Be careful when deciding to have them clean any valuable clothing. read more

DO NOT COME HERE-ESPECIALLY FOR ALTERATIONS! I went here to alter a bridesmaid dress. I asked to hem the bottom of the dress which was no problem and bring up the slit higher-the owner and seamstress basically forced me to keep the slit where it was because they couldn't "do it". Honestly, if I knew they couldn't do the job I should have just went to another place who would do the job for me. I picked up the dress a week before the wedding the hem was CROOKED and still LONG on me. There was also a stain from where they dry cleaned the dress. I took the dress to another seamstress to try to fix it because I was limited on time. She was kind enough to pin the dress to where my hem needed to be *see photos*. She told me to demand for a refund or have the original seamstress fix it. When I came in person to show them the dress and demand a refund the lady scoffed at me saying I wouldn't receive one because it's already altered. She said just let the seamstress fix it which I refused because it should have been done correctly THE FIRST TIME. I was able to get a hold of the owner on the phone the same day and explained the situation. He refused to give me full refund and we settled for $25 refund cash. When I went in person to pick up the dress and asked to speak to the owner the ladies in the front said "he was in the bathroom." Pathetic excuse and what a coward. I used to come here for dry cleaning but now I REFUSE to give these people any business. Take your dry cleaning and alterations elsewhere where you know they can get the job done for you. read more

Brought my suite I needed for a wedding to have altered and dry cleaned. Was told to come back in a week. Picked up my suite and they only altered the pants when it clearly stated on the receipt the jacket also needed alterations, also the jacket had more wrinkles on it than before I brought it in for dry cleaning. I would suggest to anyone who has military uniforms to never go to this place for dry cleaning. I dropped off my set of dress whites and picked them up 2 days later. Now, on the night before I have to attend a retirement ceremony, I notice that there is dirt or grime all over the left chest area of the jumper top that was not there before. When I was younger, my parents would take us here to get our school uniforms altered. That was about 15-25 years ago! (Gahh time flies). Now that I'm older, I still visit this dry cleaners from time to time to get some items taken care of. It's good to know that this little, family owned business is still around. Great business! I had an old GAP coat with a stain on it. Brought it in on Tuesday at 11am and mentioned the stain. They told me they would try their best to get the stain out, but they couldn't promise it would be completely gone. The coat was ready Wednesday at 4pm and the stain was completely gone! I took a pair of grey express slacks to get hemmed up. Whoever was tasked with the job decided to use white string instead of grey string and also put a 1/2 inch slit on both pant legs, probably to cut the original stitching off. I also asked that I have a button-up shirt be dry cleaned and pressed, I highly doubt they did that because there are still creases on the sleeves around the joint area of my arms.
