Thank you for replacing my missing burrito from 31july 2026 delivery. I called the Stockton blvd. Location and man said burrito is there and someone would bring. I waited outside for over half hour... Called back same man with heavy a ccent said his English not so good then woman said no one can deliver it I asked for refund she said she didn't know how to do it and man also didn't know how to do it . I made several other calls to other locations in Sacramento. No help someone said call Sat 12-4pm and miss Vasquez can help. Called Vasquez not there woman was cordial but she couldn't help call back Wednesday after Noon. I was angry of getting such a runaround. The burrito was almost 18.00 dollars for me a lot of money my helper called for me on Wednesday and nice lady said come get burrito today my friend had car so we went I also bought some items. Good value and quick service. A hefty breakfast burrito came out to about $13. It was about a pound of food. The taste was okay but I would suggest choosing a different meat than chorizo. The chorizo didn't have much flavor. Steak breakfast burrito sounds pretty good. The potatoes inside are French fries. Open 24 hours, I'm sure this hits the spot late night. The sauces are all really good. They have queso sauce that paired well with the burrito. The green sauce spicy and was a solid overall sauce. Taquitos are a bit disappointing. They are tiny. Had tacos here before, they were good But today I came in and had the most disappointing tortas I've ever had. Took 10 minutes for two sandwiches My carne Asada was paper, thin and black. Got to love the authentic Mexican food at El Forastero! Combined with drive through service and a chip and salsa bar what's not to love?! Food comes fast with great flavor. And you got to like the little things like jalapeño sour cream sauce for just that added zing. Not sure if it's all of the locations or just the one at Watt and Roseville Rd but don't go there just to order whats on sale today. You will get a very poor attitude from the staff. Now they have two new girls for the counter and drive through. Let me tell you girls you aint that pretty and customers don't deserve the snobby looks you give them. I'm going to try the one on Auburn Blvd to see if they are that rude. What is sad is that their food is pretty good and the red sauce is to die for, just not sure if it's from a purchased bottle or fresh. This would've been a 5 star review but the wait vs amount of business was wild, the food was good i got a carne asada burrito and a quesadilla, it was late night, there was only one car ahead of me but between his order and mine it took 25 mins to get up to the window and I still had to wait another 5 before I got my food. I've been trying some of the 24 hour Mexican drive-through's in the area. This one was not as successful. The service was quick, and the person at the window was friendly. I had the quesaBirria taco, and an order of chorizo fries. I also had an Horchata to drink. The Horchata was very good. Had a lot of good flavor to it, and was not watery at all. The chorizo fries were tasty, I did like the chorizo, but The serving was smaller than I've gotten at other drive-throughs in the area. Also, the fries were a bit soggy. The taco was the least successful. The taco itself was OK, and the meat was tender. But the broth that you dip it in? extremely greasy. A good Birria broth is like a consommé that you can drink. Just dipping the taco made the taco very greasy, and I couldn't drink the broth at all. Overall, prices were on par with some of the other Mexican drive-throughs I've been to. Came here for lunch yesterday & was super excited to try some of their menu options. I see a lot of El Forasteros around town but just never had the opportunity to stop. One of my favorite things too about this location, is their drive-thru location. It makes the service quick & convince which I love. Looking at the menu, I was glad to see they had so much variety. From their combination meals, tacos, burritos, nachos, & desserts. I almost got a burrito but Im a big fan of birria so I decided to get 2 birria tacos & a magonada. It didn't take long at all for the food & the staff was very polite and friendly in the process. Also, love the extra sides that were added to my order w/ the salsa ( green, red) + limes. I was super surprised about this place, late night meal while I travel. I've had Mexican food in SF once before and was disgusted by what they called Mexican food and was pretty scared to even try it again up in NorCal. I'm from socal and also 20 mins away from Mexico and been to Mexico a bunch and I have access to some of the best taco shops and Mexican food so with this said this is def the closest taco shop to being like San Diego. I highly recommend this place if u want a taste of Mexico, it's not the best but it's the best up here, that's y the 4 stars and not 5. read more

What happened to your rolled tacos? I just purchased two orders and I couldn't believe how skinny they were. They were basically all tortilla. They never used to be like this. They were much fatter and more delicious and crispy. Today's were tightly rolled skinny, and chewy. Not worth the money. read more

Every time we crave some late night food, we come here! It never disappoints! Prices are reasonable and food is yum! Good big ol portions! Love the chimichangas and tacos! There's always a bit of a wait time when we order about 5-15 minutes sometimes longer if there's a line. But it's totally worth it. I come here all the time for their horchata and carne asada fries. Best around. Super convenient, close to home and they are 24/7. If you go after 12am, there are a lot of cars in drive-thru, mainly tipsy patrons so wait time may seem a bit longer but worth it. Especially after a few drinks, these munchies will rock your world.
