Overall the Adobada Super Burrito was good, but I felt like the meat lacked flavor and the beans and other fillings over powered the whole thing. My boyfriend got one of their tortas, that I would say is worth the trip! Portion size is massive, great for sharing. The restaurant was a good size, empty when we arrived but the decor and service was pleasant.

I must say it was an incredible experience. The Mexican food was absolutely delicious, The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who were friendly and accommodating throughout my meal. I couldn't resist ordering the burrito, and it exceeded all my expectations with its generous portions and mouthwatering combination of fillings. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine and top-notch service.

Wouldn't recommend this spot because of the quesadillas that are supposed to be made Mexico City style because they really ain't . I know there is different ways to make a quesadilla down there but the way it was made here, really had no flavor. The quesadilla mainly tasted like the dough which had no flavor and it had a dry feeling to it. What caught my eye was that all the quesadillas were the same price , so even a simple cheese quesadilla was like 11 dollars. Sadly Taco Bell quesadillas taste better and are cheaper. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail, and it was good nothing crazy... just the serving didn't match the price. Some ways I think that I think they can improve is by deep frying the quesadillas or adding some flavor to the dough.....and also matching the quantity to the price...specially since the Shrimp cocktail is pricy but it ain't much.

If you love Tortas this is your new favorite place. This is your typical hole in the wall Mexican spot. The food is amazing and bring your appetite.

    Torta cubano

This place is one of a kind for tortas. It's a must for anyone wanting a large torta.

    Chicken burrito

Always a delicious treat. I got their chicken burrito. Good size, and lots of chicken with rice and beans. Yum! The coworkers love this spot, and I now know why. Give it a try.

This place is AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back again to try the rest of the menu. Today I had the Papas con Chorizo Quesadilla and a Asada Taco. The steak taco was crispy, delicious and completely covered my tortilla, they really loaded it up. I had never had a Quesadilla like this. The hand made masa tortilla is so good, and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall place right across the street from the old Campbell Soup Factory on Franklin Boulevard. I will definitely be coming back though.

It was hard and mushy at the same time

We ordered tacos de asada and we got chorizo plus we also ordered a guarache and we got some sort of twig in it.

    Burrito

This is a $13 burrito! It's crazy tiny!!! My husband only wanted meat and cheese (requested extra meat) any other Mexican restaurant or taco truck give him a regular size burrito for normal price; he doesn't even request extra meat! This is horrible!!! I put our ATM next to the plate for Comparison

You get a good portion, but I found my food and my husband's bland. It looked good, though. The restaurant itself is okay.

We finally had time off again on a Sunday to come and enjoy thier yummy Sunday Brunch…read more Everything tasted amazing! Wish I could eat more I would of tried more dishes. Last time we were there I thought I was able to get just plain tortillas from the tortillas lady spot. But she looked confused then I asked for a few flour tortillas. She asked what meat I wanted to make street tacos. That's fine the pork tasted very good. But I like plain tortillas with the eggs and other dishes. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I guess next time we will ask the server. We started with the omelets this time. Very good and well made. We tried many things, hard to take pictures. It was very busy and carrying a plate didn't work well when taking pictures.

The portions have been cut in 1/2 for a lot of menu items here over the last 5 years namely the chimichangas but seems like everything else too. The chimichangas used to be twice the size they are now and were loaded with cheese. Now they have no cheese and 1/2 the filling so there mostly flour tortilla now. Very disappointing and the plates they use now are smaller, they used to serve the food on these huge platters. Anyway went there last night (1st time in 3 years) and this is the plate I got. The 2 chimichangas are now the same size as the tamale on the other side of the plate. The service was terrible too. We did not get our food until almost an hour and by the time the food showed up we were full from the chips and bean dip and salsa wich by the way we had to wave them down several times as we seemed invisible to refill the chips and our drinks. We wont be going back again for probably another 3 years. I highly recommend Felipe's in Citrus heights on Auburn blvd. Way better value and the food quality is on par with el tapatio but with five star service!

The restaurant had great energy and a fun, buzzy atmosphere. The crowd was a lively mix of people from the Capitol, couples enjoying date night and moviegoers grabbing dinner before or after a show. We ordered the carnitas and carne asada. Both plates were generous and full of flavor. The carnitas were tender and practically fell apart with a fork, and the carne asada was cooked perfectly. Add friendly service and a colorful setting, and you have a great downtown Sacramento dining spot!

Unfortunately, the service was lacking during our visit. One of our meals was forgotten and we had to flag down the server to let him know. Our server also wasn't around very often, so it was difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed. When we requested a specific number of to-go boxes, we weren't given enough and had to get up and ask for additional boxes ourselves. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but I took away 1 star for the lack of service. The service could definitely use some improvement, especially since it wasn't busy when we went. With more attentive service, this could have been a much better dining experience.

I hadn't been in a few years…read moreand had really been craving their food, so when we had tickets to a show this past week I wanted to take my girlfriend there beforehand. It's always been a busy place and sometimes hard to get into before a show, but the service was always great. This time we sat outside, which actually had a really nice view of the Golden 1 entrance. Our waiter was really nice and courteous, but it was pretty obvious he was doing the job of about three people. He did the best he could and stayed friendly the whole time, but when you're spread that thin it's hard to stay on top of drinks, food coming out, checking on tables, etc. We didn't really hold that against him because it seemed much more like a staffing issue than anything he was doing wrong. One of the things I've always liked about Polanco is their carafe of Palomas. We ordered one at the bar and then another at the table. When we got the bill, we noticed an extra charge for four cups. After looking at it again, we realized that after paying $48 for a carafe, you're also being charged for the cups you drink it out of. That is honestly one of the most ridiculous charges I've ever seen at a restaurant. I've always really liked this place, so it was disappointing. Being short staffed is one thing, but that's a management issue, not the waiter's fault. Charging people extra for cups after they just bought a $48 carafe of cocktails is just wild. This review does not refer to their food, ambiance, decor or staff. Unfortunately this has to do with under staffing (managing issue) and now charging for CUPS
