Wow. So disappointed! We have been coming here for 17 years and it has been our go-to all those years. Food was good, and prices were as well. Normally good service. Showed up Friday 4-17-2026 with party of 10 requesting 2 tables be put together. Granted it was a Friday, but we were willing to wait a reasonable time and we have done this before. 8 of us are big time regulars here. First party arrived at 6pm, talked to hostess. She said not a problem. Meanwhile rest of group showed up and got a drink at bar. One couple asked for Old Fashioneds and bartender told them "We don't make that here." Really???? Because I have personally ordered them there many times. As tables cleared (seating 4 or 6) they were filled with people walking in behind us. Hostess didn't care enough to hold a table so when another cleared we could put them together. 30 minutes goes by. We have another drink and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, 3 tables (4 seats, 6 seats, and 4 seats) opened up by back wall next to restrooms. Waited. Waited. Finally, we asked if we could put them together. Hostess said "No, we don't allow those to be put together." With no hope in sight and just shy of 1 hour later, we all paid our drink bills, said we were leaving. Hostess said "Okay." No apology, no explanation, nothing. We have come here regularly for years, including during the pandemic trying to help keep them afloat. No more. We are done with Baja. There are many other decent Mexican food restaurants in Keller area. I am hoping this 5'4" brunette Hostess was related to the owners or something and that is why she still has employment here. If you hired her, good luck, she will help kill your business. We won't be back. read more

We've been here twice now whenever we're in town visiting friends! Everything has been a knockout and it feels good supporting a local business. First thing we tried were the breakfast tacos since it was brunch and they did not disappoint! Brisket breakfast tacos are always a good idea. Baja was great when it first opened but it has changed drastically. The Service was non existent, the food was comparable to Fast Food with a high end restaurant price tag and the margaritas were suitable for a child, kids cup and all. Over all very disappointed and we will not be returning. Only wish we had read the reviews before we went back and wasted our money. We did talk to the Manager about our drinks and food and a weight staff but with no apology or offering to fix the problem. Bottom line YOUR weight staff and Manager were very unprofessional and rude. Came in with my family for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our server,Ceydeli was very attentive and made sure I had a special evening. Honestly the food is on par with Rosas cafe or some other drive-thru restaurant. The strength of the place, which was in their drinks, has gone down over the years. The tequila selection has also gone down in quality and the margaritas are very average. This was my first time eating at this location, as we usually frequent the Roanoke one, and I've been to the NRH once or twice. Just as pleased with this one as I am with Roanoke - it's finally getting cooler so I started off with tortilla soup, because I had yet to try BC's version (and I'm a bit of a tortilla soup snob) and it was DELICIOUS. This is is exactly how tortilla soup is supposed to taste and the ingredients it should have (get those huge pieces of tomato and corn and other veggies outta here!) - flavorful broth, chicken, white cheese, avocado, tortilla strips, chopped cilantro & a lime slice on the side. So many places do way to much, and it's this simple! This will be a fave of mine to order during these cold months for sure. And the price is definitely reasonable. I make tortilla soup at home a few times a year, but it is a little tedious so it's nice to just order and eat while it's hot. Enchiladas, rice and beans are exactly what I'm looking for from a Mexican restaurant. And, maybe this was a fluke, but the salsa was not too hot for me to eat! Normally the salsa at the other locations is way too spicy to eat (and my husband agrees, and he has a fairly high spice tolerance) so I was pleased to be able to enjoy those this time. That's the only thing I wish was different about BC. This location doesn't look quite as picture-perfect as the Roanoke one - it does still have some painted walls though - but the staff is good and the food comes out quick, hot and delicious. Their salsa is very flavorful with a good kick to it. Some of my favorite salsa around. Next, we had the roasted corn. This is one of our favorite items on the menu. Stopped in for dinner and some drinks. My wife and I sat at the bar. Seemed like the bar tender was in a mood before we got there. She was very short with us. But what got me was the $73 tab I got for a small quesadilla, guac and queso small bowls, and two on the rocks margaritas and one frozen out of the machine. The margaritas were ok and we felt them but each one was $13. These were not a top shelf, the frozen was poured from the machine, and the rocks were made with their premade mix. Okay so my review is based on the FOOD! This was my first time there on a Wednesday night. I ordered a sangria margarita and the brisket enchiladas!! The margarita was amazing!!!!!!!!!! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Service was attentive. I had asked to move to another table because of the glare from the window. They were very accommodating and let us pick where we would like instead. They have a small bar area, four or five seats. There's nothing special about the interior of the restaurant, so no need to dress up. We were seated immediately. The gentleman was nice but very quiet and reserved. He filled our drinks regularly. He wasn't very talkative, even about the menu. Which was a little frustrating. We got chips and fresh salsa pretty quickly. The chips were as you'd expect, but the salsa was pretty good. Just enough heat to make your nose run, but not so hot you're burning your mouth. We eventually ordered, I got the Guiso Mexicano with steak, subbing sweet corn for beans, with an appetizer of Tortilla soup, and my son got Chili chicken lettuce wrap with black beans and rice. We all enjoyed the food. The soup was awesome. The tortillas they served with my meal tasted fresh. Probably not made there but fresh enough. The sweet corn was very good. I've never had it like that before. All in all this was a good visit. I liked the food and the service was serviceable. I would recommend a visit but in the Wataga, Keller, North Fort Worth area there is better Mexican restaurants. read more

And guess what? It's delicious. I got the brisket enchiladas. And don't think BBQ. Take that sweet sh!t outta here. These enchiladas had a delicious kick that surprised my damn mouth. I was entranced. I literally scraped my plate for the au jus. It's not Baja tacos, but whatever. We are in Texas. I'll take what I can get. Cons: One of my enchiladas was filled half with brisket fat. I can't let that slide if the plate is on the more expensive end. The whole enchilada needs to be filled with meat. Return?: yes.
