Kids Menu D: burrito & taco
    Nio W.

This place is fairly new. I believe a little less than a year. I like the ambiance a lot here. I have not been here when it has been very crowded. They have a nice booth area by the windows and a table seating area in the middle area. There are a few TVs around the restaurant that play sports games. There's a nice bar area on the right side when you first walk in. The servers are very nice. I believe it is family owned. Everybody does seem like they are there to help each other to make your experience pleasant. The food is good. You receive a fair amount of food for the pricing. My favorite is the fajitas texanas because it includes chicken, meat, and shrimp, as well as vegetables (peppers and onions). It is served with Spanish rice, choice of whole or refried beans, lettuce, sour cream and tortillas. It's filling and will likely fill you up. As a starter, I ordered a guacamole. It was very underwhelming. I expected more and even the dry cheese on top but it is what it is. The burrito and taco is from the kid's menu. It has pulled chicken inside the taco but you can get a different filling. It gets soggy relatively quickly though and kids don't usually eat fast (or at least mine don't). It is tasty. The burrito is simple and fine. It's a very decent amount for a kid. The Mexican cheeseburger & French fries is what you may expect at most places for a kid to eat. I wasn't able to figure out why they call it a Mexican cheeseburger though. I've had their quesadilla before (months back) and it was overly cheesy but it was a nice large size. I will definitely return here and I'm hoping to try their drinks from the bar soon during their happy hour times.

We came here on Mother's Day with a larger group and had a great time! We got there before the crowd and were able to get a table on the covered patio. The menu is very large and sure to please different tastes. Our group tried several items including the arroz con pollo, quesadilla, ceviche, chori-pollo, chile relleno, and even the chef salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Their drinks are great too. The service was a little slower since we were outside but we didn't have issues getting what we needed.

    Chimichanga Loca

Friday evening and this place is jumping! They got use seated quickly and a server had chips and salsa at the table in the blink of an eye. Within a couple minutes our waiter arrived and took our drink orders and was back in a flash with drinks and to take our order. THE FOOD CAME OUT FAST, Real Fast for a busy Friday night. I ordered the quesadillas fajita and beef tacos and my wife ordered chimichanga loca. The food was good, it was hot and again, it arrived quickly. Very nice setting and ambiance, we will definitely return.

A friend hit me up for happy hour on a Saturday night, and shockingly, I was home from work early enough to actually make it happen. Even more shocking? We chose Cheeky's, and I couldn't have been happier. The last time I was here was back when it was Casey's and Cheeky's was just launching, so I was excited to see how it had evolved. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was giving elegant, cozy, and intimate. Soft lighting, relaxed energy--basically the kind of place that gently tells you to sit down, sip a cocktail, and forget about your responsibilities. My friends had already ordered and kindly let us sample their food. I can't remember exactly what it was (possibly drunken noodles? Possibly magic?), but whatever it was, it was delicious. Since we didn't want to copy their order, my boyfriend and I went with the duck fries, duck wings, and fried beef tips with rice. Let me start with the fries because...wow. Skinny fries tossed in garlic, what tasted like truffle, and cooked in duck fat. Honestly? Some of the best fries I've had in a long time. I would come back just for those. My boyfriend loved the duck wings, which were generously coated in mumbo sauce. A little too saucy for me (I prefer my wings slightly less...bathed), but the flavor was solid and the portion was more than fair. My fried beef tips were everything--perfect crunch, just the right amount of sauce, and packed with flavor. A true masterpiece that really showcased Asian-inspired cuisine at its best. I also ordered the hibiscus lemon drop, which was so good I considered ordering a second (and did). That said, it was a bit overpriced for the size--but still tasty enough to make me forgive it. Overall, Cheeky's is super chic, serves delicious cocktails, and delivers flavorful, creative food. If you're looking for a food adventure or something a little out of the norm, I 100% recommend stopping by for an evening. My only complaint? I still dream about the pork katsu sandwich they had back in the Casey's days--served with homemade wonton chips. I think about that sandwich more often than I'd like to admit. Please...bring it back.

Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often…read more We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! Wherever you are reading this, stop what you are doing, and RUN, don't walk to Fahrenheit 132. You'll thank me later.

It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

Today's venue of choice was a place called Rivers End, which sounds like either a cocktail bar or a warning label, depending on how your day's going. It starts off a little funny because you have to figure out the right door, then march yourself up the stairs like you're reporting for duty. Once you get up there, though, it feels like the kind of cool old place that's seen some things. You can almost feel the years rolling by, from Caribbean rum days to whiskey nights to the modern era of "smart cocktails," where they put things like herbs and intentions in your drink. The vibe was right. Cocktails were great--strong enough to matter, smooth enough not to apologize for. The food was excellent across the board, the kind that makes you stop talking for a minute so you can do some serious fork work. Most important, our waiter Shane was dead on the mark: there when you needed him, gone when you didn't, and never once tried to explain the menu like we'd just landed from Ohio for the first time. I can't find a single thing to complain about, which for me is almost a complaint in itself. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable about most menu items. This is primarily a whiskey bar, so keep that in mind when ordering cocktails. We shared the monkey bread, fries sampler, steak and cheese dumplings, chicken rigatoni, and salmon caprese. The rigatoni was a hit for one person at the table, but wasn't for me -- so I asked to swap it for the salmon, which was excellent. What earns this place five stars is not the ambiance, though stunning, but it is the service. No pushback, no awkward looks about the swap, and no extra charge.
