Pollo Bandido

The food was ok, it was bland and pretty average. Our server wasn't super attentive, but was friendly. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 2:30 on a Saturday. The cheese sauce was good. The tortilla chips tasted very oily, like 90% oil and 10% tortilla.

We had El Guadalajara host our family event. The entire staff did an amazing job from the food to the drinks! They allowed our group to request our songs, and they even gave us a microphone for singing A special shout out to Beto for serving up all those margaritas and tequila shots! If you are searching for a venue to host a family event, we would highly recommend this restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee.

Just okay. The food here is good, but nothing too special. The cheese dip and salsa are my favorite. The service was not the best. It took a while to get more chips. Also I ordered the lunch taco salad, but I was charger $3 more than it said on the menu. I would still recommend coming here to support a local business and to have some tasty Mexican food. However, I do not think it is the best Mexican restaurant in the area.

Great local place and always adding new menu items. Haven't been for happy hour however I always grab a house marg.

Enchiladas supremas

Salsa and guacamole Mexicano were tasty. We had a combination plate with 1 cheese enchilada and 1 beef tamal as well as enchiladas supremas. All with red sauce which we didn't care for, it was a mole with nutmeg which is what we didn't care for. We will however come back and try something new. Rice didn't have any taste. Margaritas were ave

Me and friends eating the amazing Happy Chicken. Highly recommended!

Love their Friday night trivia! It's one of the only places in town with trivia on Friday night. The host really does a good job.

The restaurant was busy, but our experience started poorly. The host (ginger) seated us at a table that had not been cleaned. Dirty dishes, spilled food, rice on the table and seats, and a dirty floor were all still there. When I pointed this out, he told us to sit down anyway because someone would clean it in a minute. When I asked if he was going to clean it, he said only the bussing staff could do that. We waited 5-6 minutes while the table was haphazardly cleaned. Unfortunately, the process was rushed, with food simply brushed onto the floor before the table received a quick wipe-down. It was not the level of cleanliness or professionalism we expected. After looking over the menu, we decided the restaurant was not for us and politely told the host they could give our table to someone else. His response came across as sarcastic rather than courteous. He is a business risk to Garcia's. First impressions matter, and Garcia's missed the mark. Cleanliness, hospitality, and professionalism should never be compromised, regardless of how busy a restaurant may be. Based on this experience, we won't be returning, and we believe there are many better Mexican restaurant options in Franklin. Never again!

The veggies were cooked well and not raw like I've had at other restaurants. The corn tortillas tasted like they might be house made and fresh. I also appreciated the salsa bar. The restaurant itself was clean and well decorated. However, the women's bathroom had a bottle of soap that was 95% water and didn't leave my hands feeling very clean. The hand dryer was also unplugged and there were no hand towels. What really brings my review down is the service. The service was definitely subpar. Our waitress was also the bartender and paid more attention to the people at the bar than our table. She didn't check on us throughout our meal, and only refilled my water once when she brought our food out. When we were done, we didn't know if they'd bring a bill to us or if we were suppose to go to the front desk, as she never said anything to us. Every single staff in the restaurant was on their personal phones, leaving the restaurant to take personal calls, and fraternizing more than working. We also witnessed several food safety violations including our waitress sticking her hands in her pants in the back to tuck her shirt, and another waitress playing with her hair excessively, all without washing their hands before interacting with customers again. While good food, I don't know that I'll go back given the experience we had with the staff. I really question cleanliness when behaviors like that are happening in front of customers.

I ordered the California super burrito with chicken and it was pretty tasty. The burrito was jam packed with flavor, I added a little bit of the chipotle salsa and it was delicious. I also ordered a couple Al pastor tacos and after adding a little onion, cilantro, salsa and lime... it was perfection. The corn tacos felt and tasted like they were home made which is another huge plus. The only negative about our experience was the service. Our waitress was totally absent and only came to check on us once during our meal. We both sat there with empty drinks and it was the only downside to an otherwise great experience. Another weird thing, the staff were trying to get a specific song to play and kept skipping songs for like 5 minutes straight. Every few skips, they'd run out of songs so we'd have to listen to ads which really threw the vibe off.

The inside is cute and trendy, making it a great spot to grab a bite. The food itself was very good! I tried the pollo tacos and a side of fries, and the fries had a unique taco seasoning that I absolutely loved. We also ordered chips and queso--the queso was delicious, though the chips were a bit too greasy for my taste. The portions are pretty good, and I was stuffed when we left! A few small downsides: The prices were a little steep for what you get. The cups were small, so we had to get up for refills-- and you bus your own table, which made tipping feel a bit odd. That said, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The inside is very very clean and well taken care of. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something fun and flavorful! Parking is free and there is plenty all around the restaurant, which is always nice when near the Nashville area! We will be back for sure. I am already craving the fries again!
