Got nachos to-go and they held up pretty well! Delicious, filling, and generous portion.

I didn't count the tables, but maybe you can seat about 20, and there's a table in the middle that I saw a bunch of folks standing around. Connect Four and some other games were on there. It has been a long time since I last had them, and I was excited for my friend to try them. We each got an arepa, and we split tequenos and chicken empanadas... Yes, we were hungry lol. The chicken salad arepa I was as good as I remembered, and I got a glass of white wine that complimented it perfectly. It was my first time having their tequenos, and they were nice and cheesy. I'd take those over mozzarella sticks for real. There was only one woman working, and she was efficient in handling orders. I would come back just to hang out... But if they got music, that would really set the vibe.

Tried Arepateca for lunch and I'm already planning my next visit! I had the Porky Pine arepa and it…read morewas incredible, smoky pork with a little sweetness from the pineapple habanero sauce, and the pickled onions tied everything together perfectly. My only tiny note is I wish the cheese was melted just a bit more, but overall it was the perfect portion and absolutely delicious. Do NOT leave without trying the tres leches, it's amazing. I also took home frozen tequeños and made them for the Super Bowl... so good and now officially my go-to party snack. Service was excellent, super fast, and the girl at the counter was so sweet and really knew the menu. The ambiance is great too, they have coffee, wine, board games, and books, which makes it perfect for hanging out with friends. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

My husband and I came here for lunch we got the rotisserie chicken(super juice and FLAVORFUL) with 2 sides and a carne asada. Needless to say, we both looked at each other and said " THIS IS OUR SPOT WE HAVE TO COME BACK!" And we sure did for dinner!!! The appetizer portions are bigger than most places tbh we got kind of full from them, we tried the chicken tacos and the yuca stuffed with chicken and cheese! Our servers were David and Henry, so kind, extremely friendly, made us feel at home and were constantly checking in on us to make sure we didn't need anything! They also gave us great recommendations. Such a great place!! Hidden gem

As a local business owner with over 20 years of experience serving customers, I understand how…read moreimportant customer service is. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at La Brasa have been very disappointing. The biggest issue has been the customer service. The person answering the phone has been consistently rude, has taken our orders incorrectly multiple times, and instead of trying to resolve mistakes professionally, argues with customers. That is simply not the level of respect or professionalism I expect from a business that has been part of the community for so many years. I have also noticed that the food quality has declined compared to what it used to be. It's disappointing because this restaurant once had an excellent reputation. I sincerely hope management addresses these concerns by improving customer service, training staff to communicate respectfully, and restoring the quality that made so many people loyal customers. I'd be happy to update my review if I see meaningful improvements.

The chips were crisp and not oily; the salsa wasn't spicy, but looked fresh with chunks of tomato and onion. Very good fresh salsa. I got the vegetable fajitas ($24.99) and my partner got the Pollo Apanado ($23.99). The fajitas arrived on a sizzling platter. (The pictures I took below are a bit obscured from the steam from my platter!). It was a nice portion, with onion, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini and broccoli. The veggies were well prepared - cooked but not mushy. I asked for corn tortillas and no sour cream. Everything arrived as I requested. The Pollo was a special last night - thin chicken breast in a brown mushroom sauce over mashed potatoes with a little cheese and asparagus. Very good. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening around 6:30 pm, but we were not rushed at all. Unfortunately, one of the specials they offered last night (cream of crab soup) was not available. Seems a bit early in the evening to run out of a specials item, but I guess it was very popular and good!) The service was very good. Water service especially. Our glasses were never empty before someone came by to refill. The price for the veggie fajitas seems higher than the same dish at other local restaurants. I can't say I noticed a difference in quality or taste from the others.

The inside is pretty…read moredark (which is fine with me, but a bit surprising that the owner would want it so dark), but on a nice evening (like tonight), the outside seating (small, only 4-5 tables) is delightful. Not fancy, but nice and comfortable tables with huge umbrellas to block the sun. The food here is good. In the past, we got the Platter for 2 ($27), which is a nice sized platter of wood fire grilled steak, chicken, sausage and shrimp with rice/beans/salad and tortillas. We couldn't finish it all and it was all delicious. No complimentary chips and salsa for the table, so tonight we ordered chips and guac to start. The guac was good with chunks of tomato, onion and avocado; it would have been nice to also get some salsa with it when you order the guac, but there's a separate charge for chips/salsa. For entrees, we got a Carne En Vara and Carne Asada. The En Vara is a skewer of chicken, beef, onion and green peppers, with rice/beans and a side order of arepitas (corn fritter). Everything was well prepared. I liked the arepitas. The Asada was a decent piece of beef that was well prepared. Came with rice and beans and flour tortillas. The service was very good. We were seated and received ice water promptly. The guac came out quickly as did the entrees, but not rushed. The server came by a couple of times to see how we were doing snd she refilled our waters. This is a "Latin" restaurant, and maybe I'm used to the ubiquitous Mexican restaurants that place salsa on the table, and I will say I missed it and didn't want to have to spend $3.95 for salsa. There were a couple of times when I would have liked to dip some of the meat into a sauce/salsa. They do put a bottle of Habanero hot sauce on the table when you sit down. The entrees tonight were good, but if you want to try the fire grilled meats, for value I recommend the Platter for 2.

Very nice ambience, decorated in European style. Service was top-notch, very nice waiter and hostess. They made sure to hold our table for us. They gave us a complimentary ceviche wonton which was delicious. I thought the pan-fried cod entree was delicious, especially the sauce. The fried part was a bit heavy though so I wish there was a side of vegetables rather than the crispy potato. The yuca and calamari with the aji amarillo was an excellent appetizer - I'd recommend. Also be sure to try the purple corn drink (chicha morado?) - it didn't taste like corn at all and was delicious and unique! Lime and apple taste to it.

Service was top notch, very attentive and friendly. The server encouraged us to try a highly popular Peruvian juice drink called chicha morada. It was quite unique & refreshing. I would consider this place fine dining for the quality, decor & service. The only complain was the high price tag, with tips and taxes, you are looking at $50 per person without desserts & alcoholic drinks. It's a bit pricey for lunch but if money is no object for you, I would definitely recommend this place.
