Very very good with beans and rice mixed in. Sauce mixed red and green and guac no sour cream. Good burrito definitely. Very clean establishment and customer service is on point. Welcoming and experienced thank you David for you customer service nice to see in wait staff. I will return and also going to tray there Whitter location as well. Food was good, the burrito sauces were tasty and flavored well. I could easily share this portion size with another person. The hostess handling patrons and customers was super sweet to work with and order from. She did an amazing job handling customers that came into the restaurant. The restaurant itself was quite packed, get there early to secure a seat or (see if you can) call ahead of time. The price for the burrito was more expensive than typical places which is why I'd rate it 4/5 stars, otherwise 5 star food!

BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S…read more Q) Where did you go for lunch today, Rodney? A) Thanks for asking, Rodney. I went to Katrina's Mexican Kitchen in Artesia for Taco Tuesday. Q) How much is Katrina's Taco Tuesday? A) Aside from chorizo, all tacos are $1.69 (at the time) all day. Arriving just a bit after opening, al pastor & carnitas tacos seemed just the thing to tide me over till dinner. Q) How were they? A) Rodney, I found the tacos were amply filled with meat, and a great deal for $1.69 each. To drink, I also had Katrina's cafe de olla, and found the cinnamon sweet drink pleasing to imbibe in. Q) Rodney, where is Katrina's Mexican Kitchen located? A) Occupying the former location of Tribos Peri Peri, Katrina's is located in the 99 Ranch plaza, on the opposite side, next to Boiling Point. Q) Do you recommend Katrina's Mexican Kitchen? A) Yes, I do, Rodney. Not the cheapest Taco Tuesday in the general area, Katrina's affordable Taco Tuesday serves plump & stuffed tacos in a cozy environment. The staff were quite busy with to-go & dine-in, so many people agree with my assessment. I'd definitely return.

I got the ceviche tostada, my daughter got the chilaquiles but with steak asada and we got a kids meal of pancakes with hash browns and scrambled eggs . Neede a good cup of coffee - the waitress mentioned Cafe de Olla - I ended up having two cups full of very good sweetened coffee. Fun murals great for your IG posts. Service was friendly and efficient. Chips and salsa quite tasty and had free refill after I demolished one basket. Parking in this plaza can be challenging. TV was tuned to FIFA live contest France vs. Senegal , one Spanish language talk show and a show of a celebrity taking the Hot one's wings challenge. Family friendly, good for lunch.

This place is nestled into a small strip mall with a couple other restaurants located in it kind of tucked away not hard to find, but you would miss it pretty easy, it was either the owner and his mom or his wife and they both seem nice. They took the order they made the order and they brought out the order so it looks like a hard-working family. Now onto the food !! My soup was good and I could tell that it was fresh because it took about 20 minutes to make and nobody else was in the restaurant. I appreciate the attention to detail, but for me the broth was just lacking. Something was definitely missing in the flavor department. My 10 year old son ordered the Carne Asada quesadilla and I had a small piece of that, which was actually pretty good as the tortilla was nice and fluffy and very soft. The meat in the quesadilla was also tender and not tough which also helped out Not saying I wouldn't come back to this place and give it another try ,but the soup for me was definitely lacking what I was looking for and I've had better albondigas soup at other places.

So in the meantime we needed a Scooby snack :p The Mexican spot next to Thai bbq was closed for the holiday. So I started calling around because my mom needed her carne asada tacos! Called around and I remember I had Los consomes on my list and they were open YAY. I ordered two carne asada street tacos, a queso birria ,a queso asada taco and chips and salsa. I was raised in Cerritos so I know Artesia very well and made my way over from Thai bbq. Walked in, nice clean little mom and pop. Seems like the guy was the chef and cashier. I didn't realize there was a little bell to let them know you're there so I stood around for a good minute til I pressed it lol. For safety, I'd say they should have something that makes a noise when you first walk in. Anyhow, he came out, rung me up and food was packed and ready. Got home and tore into the bag. The chips definitely tasted made to order. Extremely fresh! The salsa was sooooo good. He asked if I wanted the hot sauce and of course I did. Even my mom indulged and she usually can't do spicy. It was a perfect amount of spice. She said her tacos were the softest, not soggy tacos she ever had. The meat was perfect and plentiful. The queso tacos were simple and delicious. No dried out tortillas here! The Birria was nice and soft. Their meat was perfectly cooked. Not tough or a crazy chew to it. My mom said the chips were addicting. We were full just off our tacos and some chips. I needed a nap LOL. They have a nice straightforward menu. Not a million things, just enough options to keep you interested for multiple visits. Great service from a hardworking family I bet. I can't wait to go back and try their soups, even with this summer heat I wish them much success:)

But the way we were treated here was not okay. My husband and I came in for brunch and were told there would be about a 15 minute wait. A party of 5 walked in immediately after us and was seated right away. My husband politely asked the hostess why they were seated before us. Her response was simply, "because they are a party of 5." That was it. No explanation that they had a reservation, that a certain table was specifically being held for a larger party, or anything that would have made the situation make sense. What bothered me even more was her attitude. She was rude, dismissive and made us feel like we were bothering her just by asking a completely reasonable question. I was also the only Black person in the restaurant at the time. I'm not going to claim to know what was in anyone's mind, but when you are treated differently from the people who walk in right behind you and nobody can give you a reasonable explanation for why, of course it makes you question what the difference was. We ended up leaving. We were actually looking forward to trying this place for the first time, but I'm not going to spend my money somewhere that makes me feel unwelcome. The hostess is the first impression of your restaurant, especially for a first time customer. Unfortunately, ours was a terrible one. I hope management takes this seriously because no guest should leave a restaurant wondering whether the color of their skin had something to do with how they were treated.

Very polite, sociable, super flexible! Came prepared! ARRIVED AHEAD OF TIME. Catered to everyone's needs. Everyone who interacted with him was satisfied not only by his service but his delicious food! I got a package deal that was Taco Catering For 60 People Meat included: asada, chicken, pastor with pineapple. Full salsa bar includes beans/rice/mild salsa/hot salsa/onion/cilantro. Large Watermelon (very highly recommend!!! Super delicious) I chose to add on quesadillas and a Large Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca which is about 40 cups. The food tasted amazingly delicious. Everything was fresh! The meat quality was perfection. I highly recommend the Watermelon Agua Fresca!! Everyone loved it! I honestly say this has been the best experience I have had! Very professional! Flexible! He stayed about 45 minutes longer. Brought sticker for the kids! (My daughters birthday party themed) Joseph communication and presentation level above what I even imagined. He was very detailed about the layout of the food and checked in often with me to assure me food was going great and on schedule. Even before the day he reached out to confirm all details/ any changes. When I tell you he is worth booking I mean it! When all the guest were eating and he had slow time. Instead of resting or taking it easy. He took the time to personally ask if I had tried the drinks when I said "no" he brought them to me. I will definitely be booking Tacos Suave again!

So upon walking into Perro Exquisite Tacos was greeted by workers. Their menu is pretty straight forward BUT their portion sizes are not what you think. The tacos are quite big, obviously. The meat is nice and tender. Unfortunately, the guac, while fresh, had 0 seasoning. Quite disappointing considering we also paid for an extra side. We did get 2 bags of chips though when paying for 1 and they were crispy and flavorful. The horchata is white colored, and seriously lacking horchata flare, unfortunately. They don't have many options, but I recommend getting a regular and breakfast taco if you need variety. The breakfast taco was surprisingly good. The keto taco was ok, but the tortillas are so good that I would stick when them.
