I've only tried their carne asada fries and carne asada nachos. The fries have only cheese and guacamole. I'm used to having it with sour cream and pico de gallo. The nachos didn't have any beans and again no sour cream. They weren't bad, just used to other places I guess. read more

As a native San Diegan it has been really difficult to find a Mexican restaurant that does rolled tacos aka taquitos well in LA. This new restaurant in Norwalk does a good job!!! My only issue is that they add tomatoes to their guacamole but the taquitos are still really good. Their corn tortilla street tacos are also delicious. The menudo is also very authentic and flavorful. Definitely recommend this taco shop when in the Norwalk area!!! read more

Adalberto's on Alondra has been a go to for late and last minute cravings for good Mexican food. We've had their Cabeza burritos several times and it's really good. Very tasty. This last visit I wanted Rolled tacos or Taquitos and the best deal was the box of twelve. Very crispy and a lot of guacamole and melted cheese. My son got carne asada fries and extra tortillas and had his own California burrito. The fries were packed with lots of French fries and a lot of carne asada with cheese and guacamole. read more

Food no good. Everything is bad lowkey I got a quesadilla with yellow cheese. Make that shit makes sense. Who puts yellow cheese on a quesadilla that's cheap low-key. And also, the meat is no good. I'll preface this review by saying that if you do not like Alberto's, alberts, Alfred's, Alfredo's, etc Mexican food then this is not the place for you, but if you do stick around... This place is better than Alberto's not because of the flavor but because it's very similar taste for a much better price or value. I got a 5 taquito combo for like $11 with horchata , try that at alberts a mile down the road see how much this sets you back. Plus they have a free chip bar if you eat inside which is appreciated now a days. read more

WOW! This place is the kind of restaurant you would see in an Anthony Bourdain show. I can't stop thinking about the food I got there. I was there late on a Saturday (after 9 pm) and I saw the drive thru was open so I ordered the super carnitas burrito. I got the order and didn't realize how massive it was until I got home. THIS BURRITO WAS LITERALLY THE SIZE OF MY FOREARM!!! It was also only $18 and change. I pay more for half (still pretty tasty) of what they gave me that night. Also, I really appreciate the fact that they fried up the carnitas. Somehow, it managed to stay mostly crispy after the time it took for me to get home. I feel that usually with burritos like these, they tend to go heavy on rice and beans, but everything in it was pretty well balanced and they didn't skimp on the pico and guacamole. I was only able to eat half of it and then I ended up splitting what was left with my wife for breakfast and was still satisfied. I liva about an hour away and I keep thinking that I need to go back, so any time I'm in the area, I definitely plan to make a stop there for more. read more

Ordered the super fries and nachos. They were very tasty!! Portions were big and everything was fresh. The green and red salsa were good but I would prefer a tiny bit more spicy. Also there was rice in my super nachos plate which I thought was kinda odd? I tasted the rice alone and it was flavorful. Horchata was ok and service was ok. They asked if we were paying cash or card. I'm not sure if that makes a difference in price or just the way the register works. Overall I would come again to try the burritos read more

Came here for some burritos. First time here so I decided to order the sausage, egg, potatoes, cheese breakfast burrito and a Carne asada burrito to save for lunch. While I waited, I got some salsa. There were 3 kinds: red, dark red and green. I liked the green one, not too spicy. My husband liked the red one. Overall, the burritos were delicious. They were simple, the kind I like. Stopped here for the first time for a bacon breakfast burrito. Described as including "bacon, egg, potatoes, and cheese". The "potatoes" were actually old, stale French fries, probably from the night before. Definitely won't come back. read more

They offer discounts for home depot workers and college students and the service was very friendly. The food however wasn't so great. I went through the drive through and ordered carne asada fries and chile rellenos. Both of them were not good. Starting with the asada fries, the meat was very dry and very salt while the fries were very soggy. I would not recommend them when you consider the price. The chile rellenos also weren't good. They had no flavor other than the cheese. They were also very tough to bite into. With the discount it only took off the tax. Overall the discounts and service were nice but the food was not great. read more

After reading the reviews I was hesitant about coming here. Decided to order at the drive thru. As soon as I almost finished saying the first thing I wanted the cashier rapidly responded with "anything else". I took a second to think about the fact that he didn't even let me finish my sentence. Then he rapidly replied with "anything else" again. I didn't even say anything! I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and added another item to my order. Once again he rapidly responded with "anything else". I drove away. The fact that I wouldn't even order my meal in PEACE was very disappointing. I really did want to try the food but, they lost a customer. read more

They put soggy french fries in your breakfast burrito to save a few pennies. My steak egg and cheese burrito also included soggy french fries. The ingredients of the burritos are on the menu. French fries are not stated there. Junk lonchera type management and food. Anything to save a buck. Burrito tasted like old French fries. FTS. read more

Some of the tacos didn't even have any onions or cilantro, they totally missed. The carnitas was not good, there was this white hard chewy thing in them I don't know what it was. The Al pastor and carne asada were good. The amount of meat in the tacos was below average. I've been to other places that give a lot of meat. When I arrive, I'm informed I can only pick three salsas per meal, from the grand total of three they offer, and anything extra is an upcharge. So you're rationing salsa like it's liquid gold... and there are only three to begin with? I took one of each, because apparently that's the max luxury experience here. Then I get home and, despite all the dramatic back-and-forth about which meats are allowed to coexist, they STILL get it wrong. Instead of pollo and adobada, I get asada and adobada, literally the combo I originally tried to order and was told was such a problem. The asada was fine, nothing special. The adobada was so salty it was borderline inedible. And those tightly controlled salsas? Completely average.
