The Triple Delight Lo Mein noodles were amazing. The shrimp was my favorite of the 3 meats as it was packed full of flavor.

They have individual reduced price items for lunch. But they don't have lunch combos. However you can still order what they call the Complete Dinner during lunch. That gets you the variety you're looking for but it's not a low price. Approx $20.

The food was delicious! We had the red snapper steamed with black bean sauce.m, beef chow fun, salt and pepper pork, & pea tips in garlic sauce. So so good!! The flavors were amazing!! The beef was chewy, it took a long time to chew but the flavor of the noodles was so good. Great wait staff and a great family place to eat. Lots of families and they even had a birthday celebration.

Long overdue updated review. I've dined in a couple times and ordered take out since my initial visit YEARS ago and the quality of food has definitely improved over the years. I went recently on Mother's Day and the wait wasn't terrible. Service was decent despite some miscommunication with staff and not receiving a couple items from the set menu until we reminded staff. At that point, we were all full and ended up taking those food items home. The interior is no frills with a couple big screen TVs.

Great Chinese food with excellent customer service. I have had this place for takeout before but this was my first time dining in. It did not disappoint. You have complimentary hot tea at each table which had a floral note and was delicious. We order a few items for family style. We had orange chicken (which was my favorite and so crunchy), dumplings , fried rice, a beef dish, and chow fun noodles. Everything came out hot and large servings. Great place to come with a group who likes to share and I will be back!

Went here to get some Chinese food. Greeted and seated. Ordered Salted Pepper Pork, fried rice and broccoli beef. Received some courtesy Hot tea while we waited. Received our food. Tasted both the salted pepper pork and fried rice. Omg! You can taste the flavor. Salted pepper pork was made to perfection. If you live in Long Beach or Lakewood. This is the place to go. Plenty of parking and the staff is friendly. The place is Clean and hidden too. I rate this place as one of the best authentic Chinese food in the area. Price is about right and the portion size is perfect.! Coming back when I crave l Chinese food.

Overall this is a very good place for Chinese with good food, service, and reasonable prices. We ordered our usual dishes we always order when trying out a new Chinese restaurant so we can compare apples to apples. The shrimp with lobster sauce had good flavor and decent sized shrimp. Not impressive tiger shrimp but at least not tiny little ones either. Overall, solid. The fish with black bean sauce was good -- fish was very tender and the sauce had very good flavor. There were a couple pieces of fish where the texture was a little off like they were not as fresh. But overall good. The Mongolian beef was cooked well and the beef was very good, but I found the sauce a little too salty. The chow fun was good. No complaints. Very solid 4 stars. We'd definitely come back and try some other dishes as well as our favorites.

I normally don't eat Chinese food. My friend asked me to join her because she wanted fish soup. The restaurant was packed. The staff is attentive and nice. The food was ok. The table next to me had wings that looked bomb. In the event I return, that is what I will order.

Classic sitdown American Chinese food that's packed with flavor and big enough portions that you don't break the bank. Orange Chicken is the highlight here. Tastes like real oranges used and with a kick of spice. The meat was tender while the outside was nicely crackling crunchy. The perfect mix.

First experience dining here and I will be coming back for sure! The moment we say down, we were greeted with waters and hot tea. Our server took our order of wonton soup, chow mein, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, honey walnut shrimp. We chose this location because I wanted to visit a chinese food restaurant that had an old school restaurant vibe and this place did just that. Glad that we came here. The orange chicken was crunchy with a hint of spice and the sweet and sour chicken was made to perfection. The honey walnut shrimp was not rubbery, it was slightly crunchy and not drenched in sauce. The chow mein reminded me so much of my childhood chinese food restaurant.

I will start by noting this was a to go order so we ate it 15 min after pick up. Even with the extra commute this was fabulous! If I could do 4.5, I would. Let's run down the details. Friday night order. Called it in around 5:30 and picked up in 15min. Parking isn't great but they have a 15min pick up spot so it was perfect. Vibe was a cool old school Chinese restaurant set up perfectly for family style dining. Salt and pepper pork chops was the fav for both of us! Great cook and high quality meat. Not too fatty and perfectly seasoned. Crunch for days! Orange chicken was the 2nd favorite. I liked it because it was still crispy while being saucey which isn't easy. I feel sometimes they are too breaded at other places, not here! Lots of texture and a great orange sauce that was balanced by not being too sweet and still bringing a light spice. Beef chow mein didn't skimp on beef and noodles were perfectly cooked with great flavor. Is it the best you ever had, probably not but it will fill a craving if you have it. Not greasy, which is nice. Last is the honey walnut shrimp. This had great flavor but I felt had too much breading and it didn't maintain the crunchy like the orange chicken. I would order it again if we ate there since not sure if the extra commute before eating contributed to the loss of crunch but likely won't get for take out again. So many other items I would like to try on this extensive menu that I don't think it will be missed. All in all I think it lived up to the love it gets in the LB food group. And if we could do 4.5 stars I would have. They don't do delivery which delayed me trying but discovering the special pick up parking was a big win and will motivate us to try again and again!

The best Chinese food restaurant outside of china town. Everything on the menu is legit. The service was also top tier. Can't go wrong with this place.

Some places cannot get their broth right which does make a major difference. Sometimes it ends up being too watery and defected the purpose. Here, the broth is perfect. Also any of their curries is excellent. This time we went with the massaman curries. Nice thick broth with peanuts, potatoes, onion and carrots in a coconut sauce. Another flavorful dish. And of course we always get the papaya salad Thai style with shrimp and peanut. There also the Laos style with fermented fish sauce and salty crab. We have full kitchens in all the rooms where we're staying along with plates and all the set ups. The rooms even have dishwashers! So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. We were greeted and helped right away and got a place in the restaurant that fit us well. We ordered the veggie spring roll, tofu soup, beef pad thai and tom yum. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice. Overall, I'm glad I gave S T Noodle Bar a try! I'd recommend it!

Portion was generous as there were a whole boiled-seasoned egg, shrimp, fish cake & tofu. I chose egg noodle among other options which are rice noodle or vermicelli. Meanwhile, my husband stayed loyal to his go-to order, Nasi Lemak, whenever we visit a Bornean or Malaysian restaurant. While he enjoyed the overall dish, he felt the fried chicken was a bit lacked of the tenderness he has experienced at other Borneo-inspired eateries. The restaurant itself is simple and straightforward. The interior features minimal décor with basic tables, chairs, and a service counter. While the clean and uncluttered setup works well, a few decorative touches could help create a warmer and more inviting atmosphere.
