    Chicken enchiladas, rice n beans

Very disappointed in the food. I should've known when my food arrived 5 minutes after I ordered. The beans were scorched, the rice was microwaved, and the enchiladas lacked flavor (I added salt n pepper and it was still subpar). The service was good but the food is not good at all.

    Entrees.

Great food. Staff is very nice. Highly recommend El Mariache! We get the chicken quesadillas and beef nachos. They're excellent.

This is not always as easy as it sounds (here's looking at you, yelp that still doesn't match VEGAN correctly)! But I digress. This is about food. Or specifically, pizza, dough balls, and calzones. All of which.................happen to be vegan, with an entire dedicated vegan menu. Let's get into the food itself: dough balls: great, but the seasoning was kinda meh. It was basically pizza dough with pizza seasoning, the sauce was good! Something actually *unique* for the dough ball seasoning would have been welcome (see: difference spice options). Pizzas were perfect to me, it was a good thicker sort of crust witout being over the top. The calzone concept was cool but also a bit weird - half was entirely dough. I mean, it was good dough, but I would have settled for a slightly less enormous calzone than just excess dough. Maybe it was a coincidence. I don't know. In the end, none of that is a detractor. Overall, this is a good place to go! I know not every restaurant is fully vegan and I can live with that, but a full vegan menu with options? You have my business!

We went on a weekday so we didn't have to wait - the place is very ample and has a good vibe to it. Not too uppity and not too fast casual, but very comfortable. Staff was friendly and patient. There's something on the menu for everyone here - and the quality is top quality across the board. We started with the doughnuts which are a must have. If you look at the pictures you almost can taste them!! They are delicious and addicting!! All the bread meant we had to do a salad in between to work in some greens. I had the Californian salad which I could've easily had as my entree. It was so flavorful and had a great combination of greens and savory toppings. We did a BUFF pizza and ALF TANNER pizza. I personally preferred the BUFF, but they were both good. The ALF was a little salty to me due to the Parmesan cheese topping. Overall, still good though. We were so full from the doughnuts and filling salads, even though we ordered the small, that we took both pizzas home almost fully in tact. The staff was very nice to us and they went above and beyond with incredible service. I will be back soon!!

The stuffed shells were good. I'd order them again. The gelato was delicious. The apple pie was reminiscent of a few layers of Pillsbury dough whereas I was hoping for an excellent crust balanced with the apple filling. Service: It was okay. Nothing worth highlighting. Ambiance: The dining room is very open and bright. You can see through the divider between the Fiori dining room and the Truth bar (separate menu experience) next to the dining room. That was different. We plan to visit again for the Truth experience. For Fiori, I'd repeat the calamari for certain and possibly the stuffed shells.

We thought we would have to wait till we drove to Chicago for good food. This place is welcoming, charming and modern. I ordered the sea bass with vodka pasta and my husband the lamb lollipop with roasted potatos. Both were 10/10. We are very picky and self proclaimed foodies. For dessert we shared the tiramisu. It was good. 9/10 for small size and a tiny bit dry. The flavors were well balanced though. We sat on the Fiori side but had a choice of sitting on either side and can order from both menus. What a great concept.

Their standard menu does not feature their vegan options, so we had to wait for the waitress to come back around again to ask for this. Unfortunately, the Vegan Chicken Breast was crossed off, so I'm not sure if that will be coming back. I went with the Vegan Reuben, a reliable standard, but it was terribly disappointing. It prompted me to pull up my photos from our previous dining experience there, and the sandwich looks so much more unappetizing. The current sandwich is wet, pale, and oddly sweet. The color and texture are so different, so I'm not sure what they've changed from their original recipe.

The it had good flavor and the sauce that came with it was light. The shrimp fried rice for $11 was enough for two people. It had at least six large shrimp in the rice. The only thing I think could've made it better would be some peas. Love the Godzilla roll. Shared it with my lunch date. I know it adds flare to the role when the shrimp tales are sticking out the end but, it makes it difficult to eat. The ginger was good. The wasabi could've been a little bit hotter. We got seated right away and didn't have to wait long for a server to take our order. They did a good job of making this an Asian restaurant since it was a brewpub before. I will be back to try some other rolls and maybe the house fried rice, which has shrimp, chicken, and steak.

I ordered the vegetable gyzo, Godzilla roll, & shrimp fried rice to share with my husband. Each dish came out individually & quickly. Beautiful presentation. Absolutely loved the Godzilla roll. The vege gyzo was perfectly soft & not chewy. Very good. The shrimp fried rice was huge. Nice sized shrimp. It was very salty though. Tasted like there was a lot of fish sauce in it possibly. Still tasty. The menu is extensive with a large cocktail & sake selection also. Prices are very reasonable. Our lunch was $36.38 without the tip.
