Our order total $33.38 two dinners plus 2 tacos on the side, my carnitas plate was so full looking but the meat was so dry even adding salsa didn't help small portions of beans, rice those were ok. I have never had carnitas so dry in all my times eating Mexican food. We went to new location on 2nd street clean and cashier was pleasant. Will I go back don't think so. It's 10:30 when I Went to get food for my family. The open sign was on and door was unlocked. We went inside and they said they are closed. Not the first time this has happened. I guess that's what happens when you have people who want to go home early. I wonder if the owner knows they close early and lose out on those late night customers. Ordered a chicken burrito with easy chicken and easy bean and they charged me $3 for extra chicken and there's more bean than chicken with no rice at all. It is very upsetting that your phone is always off the hook. I have personally gone to the restaurant told the cashier, and she looked annoyed that i was making her aware of the phone issue. Decent food for a decent price. Their tacos are pretty big and consists of meat, guacamole and pico de gallo; no lettuce, no cheese, etc. Their al pastor wasn't bad, but it wasn't the greatest either. This place is legit. Sure as hell beats going to Del Taco or TB! The employees are nice, friendly and the food is great. They don't get all bent out of shape if you "customize" your order. It's a good price for Mexican food. The burrito's are large and very tasty. So far I have had the fish burrito and the chimichunga. Both very tasty. The toquito's and the taco's were not so great. Other than that, would come here again to try other things on the menu. read more

My wife went to pick them up and a cook came out and apologized about the prior experience and how they knew our order. I've been coming here for years and always order the same thing, I order carne Asada fries and I'm allergic to avocado and I specifically ask for no guacamole each time and they have gotten it wrong every single time. The chipotle and tomatillo sauces are great compliments to the tacos. A little more fresh lime to go with the tacos would be nice - that would be my only suggestion. read more

This is my favorite go to place. Dinner is always busy because it's always good. You can call ahead for your Togo order. Everything that I've gotten has been delicious. Good customer service and prompt with orders. Very small seating area so I wouldn't plan on staying unless you go when it's not busy. read more

I'm not an expert in Mexican food, but this join is very watered down. Most of the ingredients have that bulk food manufacturer taste to it, including the salsa. The carne asada is good for the first two bites, but then you start to notice the quality of the meat. The beans taste like they are from a can and the rice is nothing special. The fish tacos are really good, and they are open until 11pm so if you need cheap food late in Beaumont, this is the place. read more

I love this place! We eat here all the time! Food is amazing! I work in irwindale at 5am and come home at 7pm. I call at 645 to order and call from 645-7:05 16 times and phones go straight to a recording saying sorry we cannot take your order at this time. So.i arrive to el mariachi at 7:20. I order and wait for food mentioning they need to put their phone on hook. She said oh maybe someone was on hold. Not even caring. I get my order and get home 3 burritos are wrong and I have to come back now and its 7:55pm. I tell the mgr and tell him I tried to call again to tell them my order was wrong and same situation phone couldn't go through just said sorry not availble. Mgr said were trying online ordering. I said you're losing money if that phone does not get picked up because I'm driving i can't do a online order. And a lot of people have same issue. He said I'm sorry and gave me a gift card to cover the burritos that were wrong which was the right thing to do which I appreciate i just wish they would hire a phone lady to grab orders, add more phone lines adding more customer service because this place would rock if they did so! read more

Paid $12.99 for the burrito.. my kid eats half the burrito and says where my meat? Paid $13 for the burrito and paid for carne asada to not get any asada in the burrito..
