I used to come here all the time when it was a tiny little hole in the wall. The food was always delicious. Now they relocated to a big restaurant and sadly, the food was abysmal. The nachos were an abomination. Just beans and meat, no melted cheese. A complete joke. The tacos Pastor used to be tender and juicy, not any more. The food came out barely warm. On a street filled with Mexican restaurants and cafes this place was incredibly quick with their service. The tacos are slightly cheaper than some other places ($2.75) and you can tell it's a family run business. My absolute favorite mexican spot in town. The food is incredible and affordable, the people are kind and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is a charmint hole in the wall. Authentic michoacan food, which is a lovely change from more traditional mexican fare. For the slightly more adventurous eaters, their cabeza burritoa and their lengua tacos are to die for. For everyone else, ive never had a bad item from them. Also, dont sleep on their soups. The tacos are typically spicy, juicy, and go very well with the nachos and jalapeños they serve on the side. They have glass bottle sodas, which taste great and are perfect with tacos. Unfortunately, they don't take card, and the place itself is small. Also, you'll smell like food when you leave. They're quick with takeout and delivery though, which is what I usually do. They have a lot of option to as what kind of meat you want in your taco which is good. I also had the mix chicken and pork torta. It was good. Although it could of been a lot bigger in size but it's still good for $7.00 I had a vanilla drink which was nice and sweet. Oh it is cash only so don't bother with the debit or credit cards. Authentic Mexican! We found this place on Yelp looking for a quick dinner after leaving Glen Island park. 4.5 star rated and a single dollar sign? Sounds like we need to try it. Small spot, with only a few tables, a beverage cooler and the order counter. We ordered a variety of Tacos, Quesadillas, and a pork with pineapple dish. Have to say that everything was exceptional. I had a friend coming over and she wanted to have tacos so I was on my search to find a good Mexican spot for takeout, I saw this place on my way to the gym and decided to give it a shot, there is plenty of seating inside and they do takeout also, I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered. I ordered 2 chicken tacos, 2 beef tacos and one Mexican sausage taco, the tacos were priced at $2.75 each I took a seat while I waited and the waitress brought out chips and refried beans, I told her that I didn't order that and she said it's for you while you wait, little things like that go a long way and offered some real hospitality, the food was ready in less than 10 min, later on I got home and my friend and I dug in and had the food it was good, not greasy and had that authentic taste, they also included chips in the bag along with hot sauce and limes, they also deliver for a $15 minimum, so good to have a nice place to get tacos nearby, will be back for sure read more

By far my favorite Mexican food in Westchester. You can get a full meal for under ten dollars and it is always excellent. As well as serving traditional .exican fare, they serve some fantastic food for more adventurous eaters. Cabeza (spicy roasted beef head) and birria ( Mexican style BBQ, which is nothing like southern BBQ) are two of my absolute favorites. The service is impeccable , and I have never had a bad meal. The staff ruined my experience for this place-what a shame. My family and I have been ordering from this place for years. Recently my wife has been ordering and a few times the woman who answered the phone got snappy and rude with her. From then on, our food started arriving cold and often, with missing components. This went on for months. I normally don't care but this past weekend was completely unacceptable. My wife ordered our usual and the woman lied and said the food was going to take a while because the driver was doing 10 takeout orders. We ordered at a quarter to 8pm, and after waiting nearly 2:30 hrs... the food never arrived at all!!! We called them to see what was taking so long and they never even answered !!! The next morning we called and the same woman answered and said the food was on the counter and it was our fault for "never giving them our address."!!! This was completely unprofessional. I could not believe an establishment was saying this to customers. We never got the woman's name but she is definitely ruining the reputation of this place.
