For cocktails, I had the lychee pearfection and my husband had a sangria. Drinks were tasty. For our appetizers, we had the philly cheese steak egg rolls and crispy popcorn shrimp. The popcorn shrimp was overly breaded and was our least favorite. I would order the philly cheese steak egg rolls again, very delicious. For my entree, I had the salmon a la plancha and my husband had the grilled skirt steak. Both are amazing dishes and highly recommend. The food was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. My best friend and I stopped into Nomo Social for drinks and sat at the bar. I've been on a lychee martini kick lately so I asked the bartender if she could make one with tequila instead of vodka. The vodka lychee martini was priced at $18. I asked if I could replace the vodka with tequila. She said it was possible and told me there would be a $2 upcharge totaling $20. I requested Don Julio tequila which she let me know it would be an additional $4, bringing the drink to $22. I agreed and she made the drink. The drink itself was delicious and refreshing. When we were ready to close out, a different bartender came over and asked what we had. She returned with the receipt, and my drink was listed as $25. I explained that the original bartender told me it would be $22. She became snippy and dismissive. She continued with unnecessary comments about how prices would be different on weekends and that she was "just letting me know for future reference." I reminded her that I didn't make up the prices and I was simply going by what her colleague told me. She continued to going back and forth with me, rolling her eyes, talking with her hands and her neck and overall being confrontational. She was so rude and for that reason, I did not back down. She told me I "don't have to give her attitude," even though she clearly had an attitude based on her her verbal and nonverbal behaviors. What made the situation even worse was when she walked to the end of the bar and loudly yelled to the bartender who made my drink, "Next time don't tell customers prices if you don't know them," right in front of my friend and I. I commented and said that's a conversation you have privately, not in front of customers. It's completely unprofessional, unnecessary and uncomfortable for all parties. The original bartender was very nice and personable, she did not deserve that. The argument between the second bartender and I escalated to the point where another bartender, Rob, had to step in and tell her to stop. I'd like to mention that during the back and forth, she mentioned that she doesn't have to bartend and that she does this "for fun." SMH. Anyways, Rob intervened, approached me and asked what happened. I explained what had transpired and told him that I would be filing a complaint. I was told the bartender's name was Marino. We got a different server this time, but she was pleasant, polite, and friendly. We all started with 5 coffees. I stayed in the hotel for a couple of days and on Thursday night, this place really came alive and is very energetic! The music was hugely salsa and meringue type of vibe! On the right side of the venue is the dance floor where couples were dancing the night away! The bar is open seating but it was packed ! I went back to the front and let the hostess know and she immediately found me perfect seating ! I wasn't the biggest fan of my waiter, the service he provided wasn't super attentive, he seemed really overwhelmed & distracted. I ordered a cocktail, I forget the name of it but it was some type of Henny Martini, I felt it was strong drink but was delicious and was satisfied with my cocktail! We had a few interesting moments when I came on a Thursday for a rehearsal dinner for my friends wedding. One of those being a salsa class happening in the middle of dinner. The garlic bread came with a light green jalapeño sauce and who'd ever think to eat garlic bread with a sauce?! Noma --that's who and guess what? I'm all here for it! The coconut shrimp was succulent and crispy all at the same time. The mango salsa and sweet chili sauce made it even better. The Noma frites were a sweet meeting of parmesan, paprika, truffle and parsley. Delight in every bite! Sorry to the folks who didn't have such a great experience as I read in some of the other reviews. I'd love to try my hand and host an event here in the future. I was starving when I got there so I ordered and pizza pie and Brussels chips. Yoooo, this pizza was amazing! Nice snappy undercarriage with tasty toppings. The best thing about it was that it was light and I didn't feel sluggish after eating the whole personal pie. I know, I'm fat. So what! For the drinks, we were not impressed and would just skip that next time. The gratuity was included in the bill. Although I felt that the waiters could be better. I love noma ! I've been coming here for years , pre pandemic noma had great parties , every night was a different theme . I remember they had salsa night and a salsa instructor would come and teach you how to dance salsa , how dope is that ? Currently I believe they just started taco tuesdays .. I've been here many times during the pandemic as well and they do a great job . They have noma social brunch Sunday's now which is awesome . The music and Djs are always good , the food is delicious and all the bartenders and servers are great ! Hubby and I came here last weekend for our unofficial, official 25th high school reunion. From what I understand, she secured a section for us and we all just ordered our own drinks and food or whatever we wanted, on our own tabs. Getting to the venue was not a problem. We live less than fifteen minutes away, right off the highway. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who directed us to our section, front and center. The music was really good. The DJ was playing nostalgic hits. He was definitely on point the entire night. I hadn't really had much to eat all day and wanted to get some food before drinking. If you've seen my previous review for NoMa, you'll know that I was not impressed by their food or service. This was when they first opened. Their tapas, organization and service, left much to be desired. This night however, I was much happier with their selection. Grub Rundown: Bravas Wings - I liked the rub seasoning but the sauce drizzle was a little weird. It congealed and tasted hard when I bit into a wing. It was a textural turn-off. Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls - these were good. I ordered for hubby and he like them a lot. I tried one and it had a good filling to wrapper ratio. Chicken Dumplings - these were good. They were nice and light with a decent dipping sauce. I would order again. Sliders - these were also good, decent bar food. They had cheese, pickle and ketchup on them. They were also served to temp. I would order again. Octopus In Purgatory - this is basically an open-face octopus sando. The octopus was sliced thin. The flavor was great, octopus was tender but the price compared to how much octopus you get is not a match. I liked it but likely would not order again based on the price. I'd rather a couple of whole grilled tentacles for that price. If there were two sandos, I probably would have been happier. Truffle Mac - this looked amazing but lacked flavor. It's got wild mushrooms, truffle crunch and garlic but desperately needed salt. I asked for some so that I could season to my liking. Shrimp Tapas - this dish was very tasty. If you order it by alone, ask for some crusty bread. That would make it perfect. For the most part being in a lounge, I was happy with the food. I did have an issue with the section we had reserved. People began to bleed into our space (it was paid for) and we were left to police it ourselves which was annoying. The biggest issue I had was with their billing. Everyone incurred an included gratuity but that was not explained at the time of receipt. The lights are dim, music is loud and we'd all been drinking. Initially, I was going to pay the bill and tip by card but decided to give the tip in cash because it's better for the staff. I just wished someone had told me I already paid gratuity on the check. Nothing would have made me think otherwise. I think the staff should inform customers about the included gratuity upfront. Luckily, I held onto the customer copy because the following day I noticed that I paid gratuity on top of the mandatory gratuity. I immediately called and spoke with Nicole, who did her best to fix the situation. She directed me to visit the following day and speak with a different manager. When I got there the next day, that manager was not working and the one that was there was quick to say they couldn't help me until I gave him my receipt with my name. He realized that he was informed about the situation, I'm assuming, and gave me an envelope with my overpayment that was left st the register. I am a very generous person but when things occur in an erroneous manner, all that goes out the window. If the bartenders would have been upfront with me, I likely would have given them an extra tip anyway. That's just how I roll. The fact that I didn't have to argue my case tells me that this is a regular occurrence and who knows how many other unsuspecting patrons got cheated out of an extra twenty or in my case, fifty bucks. In the future, they might want to inform their patrons about any additional fees they'll incur. Since I was not the one that secured the space, there's no way I would have known about the incurred gratuity. I know one thing though, the bartenders did not hesitate to charge me for it and had no issue accepting extra monies in addition. The bar service wasn't THAT stellar that I would give a $100 tip. They know what they are doing. It would be my advice that you not only check but carefully inspect your bill before paying. Everything happens for a reason and maybe this is just a sign confirming that I was right not to ever go back. With that being said, this is my own personal experience and I'm sure they have plenty of people that have enjoyed their food and ambience, especially hotel guests. I just don't like giving my patronage to a business that I need to keep one eye on. Like, why even? read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service and customer care at this establishment. Their website clearly states they are open daily from 7am to 11pm. I made a reservation for 7 people well in advance for 12pm and received both a confirmation and a reminder the day before. i have the emails in my inbox. However, when we arrived at 12pm, we were told they didn't open until 3pm. The staff at the reception were unapproachable, and there was no manager available to address the issue. This not only wasted our time but also caused inconvenience to those who had to travel long distances. If the restaurant doesn't open before 3pm, why allow reservations for 12pm? The online reservation system is still allowing bookings for that time. In this day and age of technology, how is it possible that no one is monitoring online reservations? It's incredibly frustrating how much inconvenience this caused us. It's such a shame to leave a one-star review for such a beautiful place, but the complete lack of customer service and regard for customers makes it necessary. read more

GREAT FOOD! I was almost seduced by the irresistible smell of the wings that a patron was having at the bar... but I resisted. I'm sure they were delicious... but more about what we ate. The octopus in purgatory dish was excellent. I'm very particular about my octopus dishes but Noma nailed it. The Salmon was delicious, flavorful and moist. The outside was just the right amount of crisp and the inside was for lack of a better word - perfect! The chicken and pasta was mind blowing! I know what you may be thinking - like, really, ... was it!? YES IT WAS! The flavors are definitely something to savor. The staff was exceptional! The cocktails were great too. The swanky environment is great for dates and large parties and hang outs. Social distancing is not a problem - they also project the game on a the wall so patrons can enjoy from wherever they are in the dining area. I really enjoyed the decor and look forward to returning for happy hour. The empanadas and croquetas are perfect bites with your cocktails - they pair well. There is outdoor seating. I absolutely loved this place! My girlfriends and I went on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is lovely - the tables are spaced far apart, there is a sitting/lounge area, a large tv screen in the back of the room but the best part was.......the music!!! OMG they had THE BEST dj's that I experienced in a long time. Although we aren't able to physically get up and dance (downer) the music had us wiggling in our seats. We ordered a bunch of apps.....slides, wings, shrimp taco, onion rings, etc. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was all ok. Not overly good but not overly bad either. I have to say though I was disappointed with my drinks. I'm usually a moscow mule type of girl - I had two of them and they weren't all that good. Sidenote: Yelp offers a free pitcher of Sangria when you check-in, however, you have to order an entree before 8:00 if you want the sangria.
