Super intimate spot (no wonder it took forever to get a reservation lol) that transports you right to Paris. They offer plenty of martinis and the honey truffle baguette is definitely a standout. I honestly expected the steak frites to be a little better than it was, but it was still a really solid meal. If you're a matchbook collector, they have them at the host stand!

We were so excited to be able to try this spot! Our reservation was at 4:30pm on a Sunday. We booked the reservation a week before and it's either 4:30 or after 8pm. Here's my very long review: Food: My boyfriend found the spot because... he saw a review that their burger is awesome here. I know, I know... a French spot and we're here to try their burger LOL. But to be honest though, their burger is EXCELLENT! We asked for medium rare burger steak and it came out so perfect and so seasoned! I know it's a little unconventional to order a cheeseburger in a French spot, but you really have to! For appetizer, we had the honey truffle baguette. It was very well made and the saltiness of the truffle mixed with the honey and well baked baguette. To me, 1 is more than enough. The second one indeed felt like a lot of flavors already. Moving on to the next course, the cheeseburger. I already mentioned how amazing the burger is at the beginning of the review. Next, we had the linguine of the day - and by the way I have to mention, it was recommended by an old couple who just finished their meal, we knew we had to try it. I would like to trust my own judgement and I believe the clam was fresh because I tasted the freshness and the taste of a clam. Overall, it was such a treat! Last but not least, the profiteroles. We saw the old couple that I mentioned earlier ordered this dessert. I heard there's vanilla ice cream and my boyfriend love chocolate. We both knew we had to order that. It was AH-MAZING!!! We wish we can have more. The amount of dark chocolate sauce they poured was a lot and this probably THE best chocolate sauce we ever had (we are both dark chocolate people). Ambiance: The restaurant is very small in size which makes the whole experience so intimate. And once the sun started to set, they close all the curtains and it made our date more romantic. I also saw a few pairs of couples coming on a date. Service: We love our server - I think her name's Sarah?. She checked in with us once a while and she understood the menu very well and she was able to explain the dishes that were served to us. We have a great time overall and we are definitely coming back!

The service here is great, the dirty martini is ice cold, burgers are a bit rare but still delicious! It's a small place but I recommend it!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I came in with my friend for lunch, and we were seated right away at our reserved table. This cute little restaurant is very tiny, so making a reservation is a must. We tried the Gin du Moulin as our cocktail of choice, and it was not only pretty but very tasty. I only wish it was bigger, the cup did seem small for a $20 drink, but didn't really mind it too much. For our meal we had the famous cheeseburger and shared a side of truffle fries. Excuse me!!! Why was this the best burger I had ever had in my life? So juicy and flavorful, I absolutely loved it. The fries were very good as well and a generous portion. The service was fantastic, our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. I would 100% come back.

I wanted to love Bar Sardine so bad, but honestly....I was a bit underwhelmed! I've had Bar Sardine in my must visit list for a while. It looks so quaint, has a lot of hype, and I love a good French bistro. So....I had some spare time and made a lunch reservation for one a few days prior. I was looking forward to it! On arrival, I love the cozy French bistro vibes and my server was very nice and welcoming. I started with a delicious house-made strawberry lemonade and French onion soup. The soup was the first let down. The broth was very bland and didn't have the rich caramelized onion flavor that makes French onion soup so delicious. This was disheartening being that Bar Sardine is a chef-led French bistro and not just a random cafe that happens to have French onion soup on the menu. Next, I had the Croque Americane and Frites Diane. Although my server was super sweet, timing for the soup and entree wasn't great, so the sandwich and fries came out just a couple minutes after the soup. It ultimately worked out since I didn't enjoy the soup and only had 2-3 bites. The presentation of the dishes was wonderful, everything looked delicious, but the fries and sandwich were both lukewarm/room temp at best. Not sure how that happened, but it made for not a great meal. The Fries Diane sounded great, but there wasn't much gravy on them. The gravy was the best part, but just barely there as you can see in the pic. The sandwich was pretty good, but again lukewarm at best. Which makes a grilled cheese not very enjoyable. My issues seem like things that can be rectified easily....except for the lackluster French onion soup. So, I would possibly give Bar Sardine another chance, if I happen to be in the area, but I can't see myself intentionally making a beeline for Bar Sardine again like I did for this first visit.

Chic French brasserie vibes with standout drinks and bites! Finally snagged a reservation at Bar Sardine--and it was worth the wait! The Parisian ambiance makes it perfect for date night, and the service was warm and attentive. I started with the Fluffy Margarita--refreshing and strong. For apps, we shared the Truffle Fries with aioli (crispy and addictive) and the Honey Truffle Brie Baguette--soft, sweet, and full of truffle flavor! For mains, we split the Brasserie Salade (fresh with a spicy kick) and Bucatini Au Citron--light, lemony, and delicious. TL;DR: Dreamy Parisian vibes, great cocktails, and delicious bites. A must for date night or a stylish night out!

My girlfriend was living about this place and I finally tried it with her and oh my gosh, it was so good. I love the atmosphere. It's a small restaurant and the service was great. I got the French toast. Oh my gosh, so good and we also got french fries to share. I would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Bar Sardine is a great addition to the area! It's a smaller restaurant so it's difficult to secure a reservation as tables are limited. The ambiance is cozy, intimate and dim lit. Perfect for a date night or girls dinner! We had reservations but still had a wait to be seated, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Love the wine and cocktail list. We ordered: -honey truffle brie baguette: so good! -wild yellowtail crudo: my fave! -l'escargot: excellent. -lobster ravioli: so good, wish the portion was bigger! -in house made chocolate mousse: tastes better than it looks! I will def be back soon.

I have to say my wife loved this place and constantly kept saying how she felt like she was in Paris. Very small dining area, but great service and love the French ambience. Enjoy the wine by the glass. Started with oysters. Pretty good but not great and expensive at $4.50 apiece (a dozen is more than several entrées); and no cocktail sauce with horseradish. Table bread is available but at eight dollars for four slices. Steak Frites was very good. French fries are exceptional. Chicken entrée was very good as well. Side of green beans was easily shareable for four and delicious. In general, small portions and pretty expensive. Tried the profiteroles for dessert and they were OK.

One of the best burgers and truffle fries I've ever had!! There was so much flavor to both, I was honestly a little shocked at how good it was. If I could only have one burger for the rest of my life it's definitely be from here!! The drink was great too. Not too strong and still had a good flavor to it. The service was great as well. Our waitress was so kind and patient with us, and even recommended the drink!! The only thing I wish we knew was that the dips for the fries cost extra , we just assumed it was already included.

The burger was absolutely delicious, and our server was quick and attentive! I also loved the cute decorations inside and the outdoor seating area. Definitely don't sleep on their lunch menu!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The scallops and chicken were extremely salty and lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. When we brought it up, the server did little to address it. To top it off, we saw two large cockroaches around our table, which was especially noticeable in the dark dining room. It was absolutely beautiful, although I do think it could stand to be a little larger or limit the number of people allowed inside. There was a somewhat long wait just to get inside, and once we were in, the wait didn't really make sense. I'm used to having to wait at bars that have tables and servers, but Gingers had both while also being wall-to-wall people. Even though we ordered directly from the bar, we still waited nearly 20 minutes just to be able to place our order. The drinks themselves were really good and had great presentation. They were super pretty and definitely gave the aesthetic they were going for. That said, a lot of the experience did feel like paying to sit with the cool kids. I wish they would encourage people who were no longer drinking to give up their seats, especially when there were people still actively patronizing the bar who had nowhere to sit. There were multiple tables where people weren't even drinking, while everyone else was basically standing room only. I did appreciate that they have a dress code on the weekends and don't allow streetwear. Thankfully, I was dressed appropriately, but I did see them ask one young lady to remove her hat. Overall, I think I would go back, but probably on a weekday when it's hopefully less crowded. I'd like to experience the space when I'm not packed in with wall-to-wall people because I think Gingers has the potential to be a really nice experience when you can actually enjoy the atmosphere.

I love seeing how different clubs in different cities set themselves up. Plus, any excuse to meet new people and play with them is a good reason. My wife had some business things to handle via zoom in the hotel room so I went over to this club myself. I had just visited the one in New Orleans a few days earlier and was excited to check this one out. Of course, there is always the waivers, fees and check in stuff when new at any club. As a single female for the night, they definitely streamlined the process. Single, attractive women that swing are treated like royalty at swing clubs. This club was no different. Once was inside, having forgotten to bring anything to drink, as this club was byob, I found myself alcohol deficient. I had to barter for drinks and had fun making trades. If you get my meaning. I found this club fun, clean and had plenty of attractive, fun and play minded men and women. The staff were all pleasant and I saw nobody pushing nor violating the rules. There was a good mix of ages from mid twenties to people in their sixties. Nobody pressured me nor made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I found four like minded women and really enjoyed their company. I only stayed for about three hours but I really enjoyed it. If I lived in the Dallas area, I'd certainly be a member and spend my Saturday nights there. If swinging is your thing or you just like to watch and enjoy the vibe, this club is for you.
