Wanted some Mexican today. Was researching a little online since we are New to the area. Finally Decided on here because the buffet pics online looked good. This is actually a Chinese/Mexican buffet which is interesting . They have a ton ton of choices . Like a ton. The price is right. Only 10.99 for lunch with drink . What I liked is that their food actually has flavor . Would definitely recommend , specially if you have a family to feed as there is so many options even the picky ones will find things they like . I eat here often but today let me wondering if I'd come back. Visited around 1:15 pm and noticed right away an entire counter (salad bar) was gross. Looked like things had been there for days. Mediocre... they do have a good selection of food and the price is great for an all you can eat buffet. But some of the items looked questionable. Let's start with the beverages. The Coca Cola they served me did not taste like Coca Cola at all. I took a sip and stopped drinking it. I didn't dare ask for a different soda after that. The low mein they had tasted over cooked. All I enjoyed was the rice and Buffalo wings. I didn't want to try anything else after that over cooked Lo mein. But hey if you're into all that stuff , go for it. Just not my cup of tea. read more

The people in this establishment are very friendly and courteous, I really liked their service. Ambiance here feels more homie, they have latino music playing in the background and its truly gives our a very familiar feeling. The buffet itself is a bit small in my opinion, my mother loved the variety of food items here because most of the items where things she wanted to eat or was craving originally but for me, I found very limited items, I have to say, this is the only buffet where the dessert options where spectacular. They even have a cotton candy ice cream which somehow brings me back into my childhood. I am serious! It used be out to go place. They USED TO HAVE GOOD FOOD. Last few times we went, the food is cold, they have rearranged the stations removing few proper authentic dishes and replacing them with cheap stuff not Hispanic. Sancocho doesn't have any meat in it. Maybe some bones but I haven't even found those. When mentioned at the register, they said we gotta come and tell them cause those cooking people FORGET TO PUT MEAT. Same with alcapurrias and empanadas and probably the rest of the food that should have meat. We were recommending this place to everyone because of the food. Decent buffet. Fairly clean, most dishes were the right temperature. Nothing was cringe-worthy and most things tasted pretty good. That being said, do not bring someone here who is a picky eater or has allergies. There are labels on most things but not always accurate. The plus side is if you want Latin and your friend wants Chinese/hibachi this will satisfy both. It's pay at the door, $9.99 for lunch and $10.99 for dinner, which I like because when you finish you're not stuck waiting for a check. They also let you do take-out containers for a separate price. Everytime I happen to be in the area, I always, ALWAYS have to dine here. This is the only Spanish AYCE restaurant that I've been to where I can eat all the mondongo, oxtail, pernil, (and a whole lot more) for under $15! Along OBT in the mostly forgotten part of Orlando it's one of the more unique buffets I've ever seen. Clearly this place started off as an Asian Buffet but somewhere along the line it has become some else entirely. While they claim to be a Latin Buffet but it's really much, MUCH more. I've never seen as place that packs more food into the buffet warmers. What other places have one row of food for each side, these fine folks use the middle part as well, and let me tell you, this gives you not just 33% more to choose from, but the choices are really delicious. You get a wild mixture of Chinese, Japanese, Cuban, Jamaican and seafood to choose from. There have hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza. Do you have a picky eater. If your kid can't find something here that they'll eat, they are clearly broken. If it were my place I wouldn't call it a Latin Buffet but an international buffet. Seriously, this place had it all and all of it is very flavorful and prepared with care. I only wish that I had a bigger stomach. When you walk in, it's always super crowded and people are always waiting on line to pay. It says it's Latin and Chinese food and it truly is.. they have all the favorites from various Latin Countries as well as your traditional American Chinese food like Lomein and Chicken and Broccoli. it's definitely an old place and so the decor reflects that. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant for date night, I wouldn't pick this place but if you are looking for great food and a casual kid friendly, loud vibe then this place would work. It's a buffet so you can choose various dishes and get as much as you like. You will definitely get your money's worth for food when you eat at this buffet. They make authentic Puerto Rican/Hispanic food (though the label's above the dish need to be better displayed). They have a good amount of vegan options and you can always ask one of the attendants about what is in the dishes. This buffet reminds me of when I used to go to Ponderosa (remember those lol?), but with great hispanic food. I was told they have some hispanic deserts, but that section of the food bar is quite generic. The place itself could use an update as it looks very run down, but sometimes thats where you get the best cooking. Never will I go here again. They were watching us like a hawk. Never have they ever treated us like they did today. I was going to give my Special Boy my soda that I paid for and the waitress said that we would get charged $20 for him to be able to drink my soda. How do you treat kids this way-FULL PRICE?? This is a good buffet for the money, $9 for lunch. Tremendous variety, I would take the Latin foods over the Chinese except the made to order hibachi stir fry. See my picture. Just do not add soy sauce and you will be great, they overseason a bit. Vinegar, garlic and you are ok or a tiny bit of soy sauce. Pizza is ok too. I had lots of meat and vegetables. Soft drink included. I skipped the fried food area. The fruit and flan were ok. Not great but ok. Worth a try if you are hungry. Really hungry. Showed the hostess and the general manager and they called me and my family liars when shown the photo and said since it wasn't near the food it didn't matter. When there's one roach there's more. Very affordable price, friendly & accommodating service. There are many choices of food from Chinese staples like Chow Mein and Latin flavors like meat stews & rice. They also have some pizza, sushi & they offer ice cream & other desserts. The taste was not to my particular standards or preference and because of that I felt a bit underwhelmed by the experience. The Huz also pointed out that the food was not piping hot, as it should be---some dishes seemed like they were room temperature. (Maybe they can turn up the heat on the burners?) But I don't want to be too harsh because the price point is low & expectations have to be in par with that. I've been coming here since 2003, and they have gotten better. It's not your all out 5 star service. But the authentic food and variety makes it worth a trip wherever you are here in Orlando. They have Cuban, Dominican, and Puerto Rican dishes of all variety. They had Lechon, Congri, Rice and Beans, Puerto Rican Rice, Sancocho,Braised Goat, Short Rib Stew, Caribbean BBQ Chicken, all types of Pork and Fish Stews, Fried Fish, Shrimp, Plantains, and lots of veggies and desserts. It was overwhelming and delightful experience at the same time. All authentic Latin Caribbean food, and they cook it well, not just slopped together like most buffets. The place is huge, and it holds a lot of people, and families. The servers are moving everywhere to accommodate people and they do it with a smile. Didn't meet not one rude person there. Went to the Orlando Location. I actually prefer the Kissimmee location but this one has a bigger selection including a few sushi rolls and more chinese dishes. I gave it a three based on the layout , decor, and overall food. Food was good, many hot dishes but some lacked taste or seasoning. They didn't refill the ceviche once while we were there which made no sense Waitress was good but definitely a language barrier. The restaurant is a tight squeeze making it a pain to get your food and walk but doable. Overall food is just about the same as the kissimmee location.
