We went back here to let our boys try the place out. The service was top-notch. The prices were reasonable, considering how expensive everything is now but the overall food was a little on the bland side. We all tried different things. We'll probably go back and give it another try.

I loveee el patio! This place truly is the bees knees with such a clean welcoming environment. It is a sit down restaurant so you have to wait to be seated but it is never long even on their busy days. They quickly provide your drinks of choice with their complementary chips and salsa which are quite enjoyable. As someone that likes spicy, I do find the mild salsa to be what it says it is and I find the "hot" to have a dash of heat but what it lacks in heat it makes up for in flavor so no matter there. The waitress was very kind and knowledgeable on the questions that I had. I ended up getting the enchilada plate which I've gotten before and loved. It's a great price for the amount of food. My husband got the carne asada nachos which is an appetizer (I believe) but he had as a main course and it was quite tasty as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fun time and a scrumptious meal!

    So thoughtful!

We love coming to El Patio! Jose Luis always takes great care of us! We also love Adrianna, Lupita, and Maisy! The Quesabirra is so delicious! The service is always great and I love the Cadillac margaritas! The outdoor fans are my absolute favorite! We are looking forward to the misters!!! Thank you for installing them for us!!!! Our dog is very happy!

Thankfully, we found Ragazzi! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance of checking on us without making us feel like we were being supervised. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana with Alfredo sauce, and I went with the lobster ravioli. We paired them with a glass of Malbec for her and a Merlot for me. Everything was delicious, but I have to give a special shout-out to the warm bread. Let's just say it took some serious self-control to save room for our entrées. Then came the grand finale: the tiramisu. It was absolutely divine and easily big enough for two people to share... assuming one of them is willing to share. Fortunately, we've had 29 years to practice. We left full, happy, and wondering how we hadn't discovered Ragazzi sooner. It's always exciting to find a fantastic local restaurant, especially one so close to home. We'll definitely be back--and probably sooner than our next anniversary!

(I will share some of the completely pretentious, but true comments circulating at our table.) "I haven't had eggplant this good since Santorini." And the mushrooms. "Diners in Istanbul would be jealous of this dish. I had amazing mushrooms at that fab little place near the Blue Mosque, but these are now my fave stuffed mushrooms in the world." Green Valley doesn't have many quality restaurants, and I refuse to patronize crappy restaurants in the light of rampant high prices, bad service, inflated tipping expectations and, of course, the obligatory sales tax. Of the existing ones, many are chains, such as Denny's, KFC and McDonald's. The remaining non-chain venues are frequently purveyors of mediocre food and horrible service. Here's my basis for the good review: 1) Excellent and prompt customer service; 2) The place is immaculately clean; 3) The food is delicious and features generous portions; 4) There are TWO gluten-free pizza crust options; 5) Parking is ample; 6) The prices are reasonable; 7) Convenient to other shopping opportunities; 8) Genuine smiles from the owners and staff are standard operating procedure. At the rate that M. M.'s is building it's customer clientele, they'll have to move into a larger space, or even expand weekend evening hours while the snowbirds are in town.

During that time, other guests who arrived after us appeared to receive service before we did. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered the chipotle chicken Alfredo. The food arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. My sandwich was acceptable, but the chipotle chicken Alfredo was not prepared well. The chicken was overcooked, and the sauce had thickened to the point that it affected the texture of the dish. My wife was unable to finish it. We were also there during happy hour, which was supposed to include $2 off all drinks. After reviewing the bill, the drink discount did not appear to be applied. Because of the amount of time we had already spent waiting, we chose not to raise the issue at the restaurant. After asking for the bill, we waited about 10 minutes and had to call the waitress over again to request it. Based on this visit, we do not plan to return to Pub 22. We try to support local businesses, especially since there are limited dining options nearby, but the service, food quality, and billing accuracy during this visit did not meet expectations.

They have some really cool displays and I love the idea of actual mechanics working on actual hot rods in the garages below. Being a Sunday, no one was down there working but still an awesome idea. The food was average. I had a French dip which was good but not memorable. The menu says it is served with a creamy horseradish sauce however I detected absolutely no horseradish flavor. For my side I did the sweet potato puffs and I was shocked how tiny they were and that the portion was so small. Flavor was just whatever. My guy had a Philly cheesesteak and again, good but not memorable. His side was the mac & cheese. The cheese sauce was really good - tasted of green chiles - but the mac was swimming in it, really not enough macaroni. We had the funnel cake fries for dessert. Flavor was just ok. Dusted with powdered sugar and served with sides of honey, chocolate sauce and more powdered sugar. I'm not sure funnel cake works as fries. They were a little crispy and tough, not fluffy and crispy like a funnel cake. Unfortunately Hot Rods doesn't have a cocktail menu and when I asked if they had any fun drinks, I was told the bartender can make anything I want. I think if they had a cocktail menu with a few fun offerings sitting on the tables, more people would be interested in having something from the bar. Our server was sweet and did a great job. It was her first day and I have high compliments for her. The girl up front who greeted us was pleasant enough but she really didn't know much about the cars or racing memorabilia on display. When asked about the roped off upstairs lounge, she told us it was owned by a local pinball company and they use it for their pinball events. I'm not sure if Hot Rods gets busy but it looks like it could be a great community hangout for folks out that way.
