This was my experience. The waitress was sweet the service, food and drinks......terrible!!! One waitress was doing everything, and I mean everything! The chimichangas had a huge glob of cheese on it, the soft taco shell was greasy and wet, the margarita was made out of Jose cuervo syrup, ice and lime juice with no liquor and the waitress was so busy that we waited forever for our check and she could only check on us half an our into the meal. Thought I'll give this place a try since it's basically the only thing open locally. I had my husband order me steak tacos. After eating them immediately didn't feel good. Very basic but great authentic Mexican food. Portions are big, $10 breakfast, $15 dinner. Most of the time they include a tip on the bill so you have to look before you pay. Friendly staff. My girlfriend and I love this restaurant. It is beautiful inside. The food is delicious! I enjoy the shrimp fajitas with rice and beans. My girlfriend likes the chicken tortas and steak tacos. There's zero leftover. We scrape our plates. They sell delicious Mexican sodas and have a bar. I have ordered take-out a few times. Steak was a good bet, carnitas may have a little more flavor. Service at bar for to go is quick and genial. One of the few authentic Mexican spots in the area that are gringo friendly. The meh: Once had a poor delivery experience (food took over an hour to come, puzzled driver w/o gps, had to recall high school Spanish to give directions, food arrived cold).
