Great new Spanish restaurant in Royal Palm Place in downtown Boca. Authentic cuisine in beautifully decorated restaurant. Inside dining or patio dining with live Spanish music tableside. Perfect place for a romantic evening or just because! Food options were original and fresh and very satisfying to the taste. Prices were reasonable and service was exceptional! Same great food in an excellent newer, larger location. One of our favorite local spots for outstanding Spanish tapas. We definitely have our favorites. I always order the Patatas Bravas, with perfectly cooked potatoes topped with creamy red and white sauces. The fresh anchovies, coated in oil and lemon and neatly lined up on the plate, are another must-order. It's always fun to try a variety of croquettes, which are served with small slices of bread and different mouth-watering toppings like duck breast , beef, or pork. My husband always orders the chicken croquetas, which are creamy on the inside with a perfect light and crunchy exterior. The grilled octopus is also very good. The cuisine reflects influences from all over Spain rather than focusing on one specific region. And of course, no Spanish meal is complete without great drinks. They offer good Spanish wines, house-made sangria, and cold Estrella Damm beer (I prefer the Barcelona version over the Galicia one, both are available). There's also a full bar. Save room for dessert. Most desserts are made in-house, and they are absolutely worth it. The Basque-style cheesecake is divine and a standout, it's rich, creamy, and not overly sweet. It alone is reason enough to plan ahead and leave space at the end of the meal. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, and on some nights a singer entertains diners outside. The interior is nicely decorated with subtle Spanish touches throughout. A parking lot is available, though parking can be a bit crowded and challenging during peak season. Happy Hour is served Tuesday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with great drink and tapas specials, providing an excellent time to sample favorites or try something new.

TAPAS - CHURRASCO and PIQUILLO RELLENO

Opened this new location last week and stopped in for happy hour tapas. Upon entering, my eyes were laser focused at the bar sporting a clear mega jug of fresh Sangria with the saturated orange wedges floating on top. Sat at the bar and the bartender told us that for happy hour the Sangria was only $3.50 per glass and all tapas were $2.50 each. Ordered the Sangria with the Churrasco and Piquillo Relleno tapas. The fresh Sangria was sweet and strong but the tapas made my taste buds dance. If I was not going to dinner in an hour I would have tried every tapas on the menu. They were absolutely a blast of mediterranean flavors. The hallway to the bathrooms were colorful and produced a feeling of old Spain with greenery and roses hanging from the ceiling (see pic). The gender assigned bathroom was clean with a classic theme of green walls and gold accents on the mirror, faucet and handicap bars. It was nice to see the management took their time with the thoughtful decor.

Let's start with the ambiance. Beautiful evening in Boca. We were seated outside as requested. Beautilfully lit with string lights and individual table top LED lights that allowed you to read the menu but keep the vibe. We ordered a bottle of Malbec wine(great pricing for the wine) to share and the live musician started to play and it really set the mood. Tapas is our favorite way of eating. Lots of small plates allow you to try many things. We ordered the mantaditos in a few selections Jamon iberico and manchego, Cordero estafado(lamb), Gamba(shrimp) Foie Gras, and the Spanish tortilla. They we all amazing and seasoned perfectly. We closed out our meal with churros and chocolate sauce. What a perfect evening!

I think this is now my new happy hour place on Mondays. The sangria was sweet and delish but the tapas were so unique and each bite was an instant WOW. The Spanish wall decor was beautiful and the bartender made my first visit enjoyable.

Montaditos: Churrasco, Duck Breast, Tortilla, and Pork Belly. All were delicious but the steak was the best!!

We came in here for a quick snack and wow I was impressed at how delicious it was!!!! On Sundays they have 2 for 1 sangrias so we tried that. It was delicious! Had a hint of nutmeg (I think) which was an interesting touch. It was too hot outside to enjoy the patio, but the outdoor area has a lot of tables. The indoor area is pretty small, just a small bar and a couple little tables. The server was so helpful at explaining the menu and made some great recommendations. Most items are small bites or meant to share. Will definitely be back!

There's food, and then there's feast. Patio Tapas & Beer is the latter. This unassuming, but glorious restaurant next to a French patisserie and across from a parking lot will blow you away with its simplicity and its absolute beauty, served on each and every plate. Patio is lively, welcoming, and a dining experience befitting the most passionate food fiend. Almost better than the food (almost) are the lovely servers - gracias Andrea y Jacob! The Duck Breast montadito may be the most perfect bite of food I have ever had in my life. It, quite literally, brought tears to my eyes. The churassco with marble potatoes, mojo Verde and topped with arugula is nothing short of proof of God. This, THIS, is how you show love through food. I wouldn't just bring friends or family to Patio. I hope everyone, everywhere gets a chance to try this little miracle in Boca Raton. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Highest possible recommendation for the best meal I have had so far this year. Que Dios te lo bendiga...

I love this restaurant, it always makes me feel like I am in Europe! I tried the caviar, gamba, churassco and iberian ham montanitas. Super delicious! We visited on a Friday night and they had great live music and ambience, the staff is friendly, food and Sangria were great. Definitely recommend!

I used to live in Barcelona and I've been craving some traditional Spanish food for a while. This place is super authentic and has amazing traditional Spanish dishes. The food came out fast and the waiter was attentive and constantly refilled our waters. The montaditos were incredible, especially the pepper one. I also really enjoyed the pulpo dish and the patatas bravas brought me back to España! So glad we found this place - would definitely love to come back!

If you're craving authentic Spanish cuisine, Patio Tapas and Beer is the place to be! Having visited Madrid, I can say this restaurant truly captures the essence of Spain. The tapas are amazing, and each dish takes me back to those charming streets. A perfect spot for anyone seeking a taste of Madrid right here at home! The staff is very friendly. They remember us each visit! Definitely check out this place.

This was such a pleasant surprise! We were actually going to another restaurant and saw the reviews for this one. What a perfect choice! Loved everything about this place. The charcuterie board was amazing. Chorizo was perfect! The shrimp dish was cooked perfectly! But the icing on the cake was our waiter Esteban. He made our experience everthing. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left!! Please give this restaurant a try. You will be so happy you did!

The restaurant itself is small, with a handful of tables inside. Ordering is done on a touchscreen kiosk, and if you're eating there, they'll bring your food to the table. There are three sauces to sample, although fair warning on the spicy sumac, which packs more of a punch than I expected. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the small Kubideh platter with half rice and half chopped salad. At $15, it was a decent amount of food for me. The Koobideh was the star of the meal, a succulent blend of ground beef and lamb cooked over an open flame that came out unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The decor is pretty simple, but I liked that the walls featured quotes from the Persian poet Rumi. One in particular felt especially fitting while waiting for lunch: "The heart is cooking a pot of food for you. Be patient until it is cooked." If you're looking for fancy surroundings, this isn't it. But if you're after excellent Persian food, Shahs of Kabob is absolutely worth the stop.

Context matters. There are no full-service Persian restaurants left in Broward or Palm Beach County. If you want traditional stews and Persian-style kebabs north of Miami, Shahs is essentially it. That makes execution important. This visit didn't quite land. The koobideh had a noticeably springy, tightly bound texture, more cohesive than tender. It was juicy, but released a visible amount of rendered fat onto the plate. There was browning, but limited charcoal flavor, so the richness read heavier than it should. The rice leaned soft and compact rather than light and separated, which added to that heaviness. Rachel's fesenjan was underseasoned. The walnut base was there, but the sweet-tart pomegranate balance that defines the dish was muted, leaving it flatter than expected. This feels like calibration, not ingredients. Koobideh is simple on paper but very sensitive to mixing, fat ratio, and fire. When those details are right, it's exceptional. Shahs plays an important role regionally. Tightening grill execution and seasoning would elevate the experience meaningfully. The foundation is there. The details need refinement.

On our drive home from Miami to Jacksonville, we traded Interstate 95 for the slower, more scenic A1A. It made for beautiful views, but after crawling through one coastal town after another, lunch became a priority. A quick search landed us at Stage Kitchen & Bar on PGA Boulevard, a restaurant I later learned had earned a place in the 2025 Michelin Guide. After one meal, it was easy to understand why. We began with two appetizers that could not have been more different, duck confit egg rolls and a grilled cheese. Calling the grilled cheese "just a grilled cheese" would be unfair. Brie melted between perfectly griddled bread kissed with white truffle oil already sounds luxurious. Pair it with a bright mango jam and suddenly a childhood comfort food becomes something unexpectedly elegant. Richness met sweetness in all the right proportions. The duck confit egg rolls were equally memorable. The duck was deeply seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, giving each bite layers of warm, savory flavor. The accompanying peanut chutney added sweetness, nuttiness, and just enough contrast to keep the dish from becoming too heavy. These egg rolls packed far more personality than their modest appearance suggested. For lunch, my wife ordered the grilled black grouper sandwich. The fish, sourced fresh from local suppliers, was flaky, moist, and clean tasting. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and a malt vinegar aioli gave the sandwich brightness without overwhelming the fish. It was simple, balanced, and exactly what a fresh fish sandwich should be. I chose Stage's signature burger, two Certified Angus Beef patties topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, sunflower sprouts, and their house "fancy sauce." This is the kind of burger that reminds you why burgers became America's favorite sandwich in the first place. Cooked to a juicy medium, every bite was rich without becoming heavy. The caramelized onions added sweetness, the white cheddar delivered sharpness, and the sunflower sprouts provided freshness and texture. The fancy sauce contributed just enough heat to keep everything interesting without stealing the spotlight. Dessert continued the restaurant's habit of taking familiar flavors and giving them thoughtful refinement. My sticky rice ice cream, finished with mango sauce and toasted coconut, captured everything I love about mango sticky rice while transforming it into something lighter and more playful. It was creative without feeling gimmicky. My wife ordered three macarons from local pastry maker Macaroner, S'mores, Passion Fruit, and Lime Coconut. Each shell was delicately crisp before giving way to a soft, airy center, exactly as a proper macaron should. Stage Kitchen & Bar takes familiar dishes and quietly elevates them through technique, quality ingredients, and restraint. Nothing feels overcomplicated or designed simply to impress. Every plate feels carefully considered. Sometimes trusting Google is a gamble. This time, it paid off. Great restaurants don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're simply waiting for hungry travelers willing to take the next exit.

Recently went for brunch and will definitely come back for more! Started with the most beautiful…read morefried artichokes I've ever seen--the leaves were spread like blossomed flowers which made them so delicate with a light crisp. The heart was rather small but it was deliciously paired with a cilantro lime aioli and a fresh squeeze of lemon. We also had the French toast and a creamy mushroom truffle toast, both with thick slices of Japanese milk bread. These were both generous portions and quite filling. I especially loved the mushroom toast was loaded with mushrooms and full of umami. The restaurant is fresh and bright with a comfortable elegance and the staff were all attentive, welcoming, and friendly.

AVOID MOTEK BOCA RATON AT ALL COSTS…read more I made a reservation and provided my credit card as required. Approximately 90 minutes before the reservation, Motek texted me to say the restaurant's air conditioning was not working. I canceled only because of the conditions they reported and specifically asked for confirmation that I would not be charged the $40 reservation fee. Motek assured me in writing that I would not be charged. They charged me anyway. Since then, I have sent two emails, left five voicemails, and made approximately 20 unanswered phone calls. Not one person from the restaurant has acknowledged the issue or offered any assistance. I have now been forced to open a fraud claim with my bank. Even more disturbing, my bank informed me that Motek apparently processed the charge as a recurring monthly payment--not simply a one-time reservation charge. I never authorized Motek to establish recurring payments of any kind. Charging me after explicitly promising not to do so was unacceptable. Refusing to respond after dozens of attempts to resolve the issue has made the situation even worse. I will never give this restaurant my business, and I will actively warn others about this experience. Any establishment that requires access to customers' credit cards should be held accountable for how that information is used. Based on the unauthorized charge, its apparent designation as a recurring payment, and management's complete failure to respond or be reachable by phone, web, or email, I strongly recommend avoiding Motek Boca Raton.
