I have come to the conclusion that this store definitely deserves a low score for its inconsistency with food quality but customer service as well. for a while i worked nearby this pollo loco and order their salads. i think of all the fast food places, PL's has the best salads. bar none. i no longer work nearby this PL but yesterday i stopped by nevertheless and order their crunchy chicken tacos. they were pretty damn good as far as chicken tacos go. especially since i am not a fan of anything but red meat on my tacos. thank you crazy chicken for being there all those years (and not screwing up my order ever) and for now introducing me to the crunchy chicken taco. read more

Went there today about 11:30am through the drive thru n was greated by a girl on the microphone it was horrible they seriously have attitude problems couldn't even get the order right then at the end when we were done ordering a guys voice says hi can i help u and like i just order (wth)? Anyway we up and our order added up to 25 and some cents and i hand him a $100 dollar bill since i only had a $20 dollar bill as my smallest and the guys said he didn't have any change n suggested atm and im like obviously i don't want to use my atm that's why i handed u a bill n then we suggested to take some items out so it can add up to 20 which he clearly neglected. If you're hungry and you want chicken don't come here!!! I used to come here before and stopped because they're always running out of chicken!!! I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me! When I finally got to the window to pay the cashier took my debit card closed the window and did not return for 3-4 minutes. What was she doing with my card for that long? I feel like I might have to cancel my card now. I finally get my food and drive away. When I went to eat my chicken avocado quesadilla, it was cold! Not like it had been sitting out after being cooked for a few minutes, more like it just came out of the fridge! When i normally go there the food is somewhat mediocre, But this last time i went on 01/29/2013, was the worst. I pulled up to the drive through around 9, picking up food for the family after work. I order a simple 8 piece family meal combo. I pulled up to the window and pay the cashier, who I believe is the manager or assistant. He gives me the food and replies that i was lucky I got the last of the chicken. Didn't think much of ot at the time. I get home and find that the chicken is really horrible looking and I only have 7 pieces out of 8. Not only that but there rice was dry and stale. The worst food I've ever gotten. I know it was late, but if that is what ypu are working with, do the humane thing and give your customers a better warning. I could have gone somewhere else then feed my family that worthless excuse for fast food. There shouldbe a health inspector for night crews. read more

I hate this pollo loco, they never kick the bums that are in the front scaring the people away, there literally ALWAYS there. There customer service is horrible. The employee which I was assuming that was the supervisor kept yelling at the other employee that she had to go to break like if all in the people in line waiting to order were not there listening. Inside it's very messy they don't follow up to clean up the tables after someone eats. I know it's a fast food place but it should still be clean. There no excuse. The drive thru takes a really long time when there's only like 2-3 cars at the most. They ask you what you want to order and then they cut you off saying "I'm sorry give me a quick second. (It's not the first time they do it). Over all it's right around the block to my house but I always dread coming here it's literally my last resort! read more
