We visited this location last night. I specifically asked for no Pico in our food for the simple reason that my husband is allergic to onions. Upon receiving my food I asked the drive-thru attendant to repeat my order and he clearly stated No cabbage & No Pico on both meals. I paid, he handed me my order & I asked AGAIN if this was made correctly. He assured me it was. When I got home my husband took a bite of his burrito and SURPRISE the communication felt short somewhere & Pico was on his burrito. Lucky enough he spit it out upon tasting before things got worse. I asked the lady counter-person what they had that was vegetarian-her response: "I don't know, I'm not a vegetarian" No attempt to find out-just completely blew me off. I asked for the manager and he came out-Alex. I asked how long that lady had worked there and he said 6 months. My response: Don't you think they should have even a little product knowledge after 6 months? Every single time I go they mess something up. I will tell them about it next visit. They're like "oh ok, sorry" I've gotten a frozen churro, bitter chicken, no fork, no salsa, and a wrong salad . I should just stop going . I used to go more often, now it's my last choice , it's about to stop being a choice. read more

I was so impressed when my boyfriend and I came here. We took a little bit longer to order in the drive-thru and they were so patient with us. When we got to the window we waited for less than a couple minutes for our food and when we got home to eat it, it was all correct and super tasty. They killed it! read more

What struck me on this visit was the fresh and clean store appearance and the incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew. I love El Apollo Loco. It reminds me of a place back east called TropiGrill. The yummy grilled chicken and the a acid cilantro sauce is so good. The only thing I don't like is with the salad they put two drops of dressing on it. I don't like my salad drenched in dressing but jeez some flavor please. I just decided to ask for it on the side. Again I love it because it fits into my diet. I just feed the tortillas to my dog. She enjoys the treat and they don't go to waste. read more

Just had 2 Grande Avocado Chicken tacos which were surprisingly very very yummy. So much chicken in them which was moist flavorful and tasted good. I was expecting flour tortillas but was pleasantly surprised with corn, which tasted homemade. The salsa bar was nicely stocked and clean. I tried the dark red one and it fared well with my tacos. Is it too much to ask to give me my order correctly and dont argue with me. I hadn't been to this location in a month after 2 drive thru trips where they missed something. Last time I alerted the asset manager Felix that I always have issues. Today I was given a bag after paying and told here's your order and the female disappeared, however I did not get my drink. Shortly thereafter Felix came to the window and asked how he could help, which I explained I would like a receipt and my drink that I never received. After arguing that this was not an issue??? He stumbled around for my drink and then the receipt that wasn't in my bag even though he insisted it was, I alerted him that this happened again and I had told him about the issue last time I was there. and explained I had to request my own drink and receipt after the young lady disappeared. He stared blankly at me with no response at which point I drove off from this location for the last time read more

I have visited this place a couple of times. The place is always spotless or there is someone cleaning up. Prices are good. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the chicken is a little dry. Maybe I just like rotisserie chicken a little more. I would absolutely recommend a visit. Also, there are a couple of tables outside. They keep a water bowl outside. Nice touch. read more

Let me just warn any new comers that, despite its appearance, this is not fast food. The "drive-thru" should be more aptly called a "linear parking lot." In fact, if you kept your car in drive the whole time you would undoubtedly need a transmission rebuild after you left. The food is really good though. Expensive, but good. But, you'd better be a fan of avocados. It seems that they try to put avocados in everything. Not sure if that's a ploy to hike up the prices or if they really love all things avocado. I was surprised to find that my soft drink came without avocados. Oh, and don't fall for that cheesecake dessert thing. I've been a long-time patronizer of El Pollo Loco restaurants. It's my go-to place when I need fast, economical, relatively healthy food, on the go. My kids love it, too! This location far exceeds my experiences with this chain. The crew always warmly greets you when you walk in and throughout your visit, the food is consistently great! I am particularly excited by their newest menu item, the Build-your-own-Bowl. I can add only the items I like, and nothing I don't. And their carnitas rivals any I've had from any restaurant anywhere! Always a great experience. They always get a bell ring from me when I leave! read more

Love this place. I don't remember ever having to wait for long to get my food. The staff is nice and friendly and some of the menu items are just amazing, especially the Ultimate Double Chicken Bowl. A big reason why I love their food is the salsas and I've noticed it's easier to get the salsas you want by going in instead of using the drive thru. Sometimes they might be out of some salsas, which is a bummer because that's partly why I go there. But there's been an occasion where they didn't have a particular salsa and I asked if they have that in the kitchen. When asked how many I want I said 2-3 and the girl said "I'll give you six!" and handed me a bag full of salsas. Gotta love it! read more

I'm not coming here again, for two reasons :1. mediocre service--I went there with a friend, we shared a meal and they gave us one set of silver (plastic)ware, when I asked for the 2nd I was given a fork and spoon but no knife. 2. I really their chicken but for some strange reason. This place in particular can't seem to get my order right.. Today marks the 4th time that we went through the drive thru and got short changed. So from now on, I don't care about the people behind waiting in line but I'm checking my huge orders regardless. Seems like when they are busy they seem to just throw stuff together and make it look like it's all there in hopes you don't check your order.
