Food is always good , I love pollo loco but this location always gets my order wrong, at least most of the time. I've probably ordered here at least 10 times and if those 10 times my order has been wrong about 7 of the 10x... Just today, they forgot to add the chicken bowl I ordered. I overlooked it because I had to ask for the drink and the cilantro sauce they they forgot to give me so when I got home I realized they also missed the bowl ... Get it together guys read more

Food is delish. What I'm most impressed about by this location is the customer service. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. When they have been out of something I've tried to order, they're always so helpful at giving me a free drink or churro to make up for it. Somehow I always feel loved after leaving this location. On Saturday August 9 I was looking for a job at the restaurants surrounding the intersection of Riggin Road and Dinuba Blvd in Visalia. Although this is a review of the El Pollo Loco at 636 W Riggin Road I had a similar experience at the McDonald's across the street There I was at the counter for a full five minutes and was not acknowledged once even though workers were running orders out to cars. I had to literally stop a worker as he was returning to the kitchen. Feeling disrespected and awkward I became angry asked for manager she made excuses, offered no real apology did not accept blame or say she would talk to cre and fix the problem So, I went to El Pollo Loco to ask if they were hiring,I waited there for three minutes while workers looked at me indifferently, said nothing, good morning, I'll be right with you, I'll be right there, sorry we're short handed,not a peep. Angry, finally someone asked me if I had been helped. I asked for the manager, she came out,indifferent as her crew. Told her I had been waiting five minutes but changed it to three minutes. Which was true. I then asked her if she was okay with me waiting unacknowledged for three minutes and she offered assurance she would correct the problem. I then said I had come in there looking for a job and what if I was a secret shopper or undercover corporate person or just a customer. When I told her I was looking for a job and that I wouldn't work for someone like her she said to me within earshot of earshot of the customers dining at the time that "I was a nobody because I was looking for a job". She repeated that at least three or four times and told me to leave because I was nobody. I could go on, other things were said but let that sink in. Pollo loco has been delicious every time I've gone, food tastes fresh. The menu prices are extremely reasonable during the upsurge cost of everything. But what I really wanted to share was my experience with the staff. They're friendly, helpful and kind. The drive thru employee is the sweetest person! She's always looking out for the customer and how to save them money when selecting items off the menu and substituting something else. I wish I knew her name, she's always smiling and helpful! So after reading the "bad" reviews I was very motivated to write my own review because I've been coming to this pollo loco location since it opened. The employees are always super respectful, responsive, knowledgeable and just flat out cool I've never once had an issue with anyone. The food itself is pretty good I saw reviews of people complaining about dry chicken and whatnot idk what they're talking about the food is pretty good otherwise I wouldn't keep coming. I also read a review bashing an employee named "Francisca" who apparently had an "attitude problem" well news to you yelpers... Francisca is actually pretty cool and helpful, people just LOVE to complain about anything and NO I do not personally know anybody at this location I just felt the need to stand up for them cause they've always had great customer service. read more

The food was ready really fast. the person taking our order was super polite. her name based on the receipt is Mykayla. she had such great customer service throughout our order and bringing us our food as well as checking in to see if we needed anything else. she truly was great. also they brought us free samples of guacamole and chips which were just delicious will definitely be ordering next time as well. overal 10/10 in everythin. read more

We recently looked forward to Polo Loco's new location in Visalia, Ca. We both ordered the 3 piece white meat dinner. The girl taking our order was very sweet and kind. However she was not properly trained as she had no clue when asking her a question. 3 Employees kept looking at the computer screen, trying to figure out what orders were messed up. Order after order was messed up. Customers were waiting in line to order and being ignored. We were totally disappointed, as our chicken breasts were dried out. The skin was chewy and uneatable. The wing was dry and chewy with basically no meat on the wing. The breast were over cooked and very dry. Our flour tortillas were rubbery and chewy. We threw them away. Submitted online order that stated food would be ready for pick up by 1909. Went to restaurant to pick up online order and was told that we need to wait 5-10 minutes. After 5-10 minutes I called the store and asked what the hold up was. Per Francesca, need to accommodate to both guests in store and online order so chicken was given only to the ones coming and ordering in restaurant. Although my order was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. Another 10 minutes passed then our order finally came. When it did, we were missing the drinks we ordered. Instead of delivering drink to us, we were told to come back through the drive thru to pick up the drinks. Poor customer service and wait time for a restaurant that was not busy at all and for an online order that was supposed to be ready 30 minutes prior. Horrible experience.
