Pollo con todo, loved this plate with a side of rotisserie chicken breast. Very flavorful a must have.

This is what you consider a hole in a wall place. I love Peruvian food and this place didn't really capture it for me. My meat was not tender at all. It was disappointing. My gf's food was ok, she said. The worse part is that it was very pricey for this place. Service was good and everyone was pleasant.

Tamal and onions Tamal has no price listing and this is the combo/meal. No drink or rice and now beans or anything.

The food: They didn't have what I wanted. Service: It wasn't great, it was awkward and made me feel like I was bothering them. Ambiance: awkward and cringey. I ordered a tamale and it was $13.50. You would think it must have rice and beans for that price, Noo it was only a tamale. No rice or beans. Way too overpriced I can go to el torito get the chicken fajita special for $10 or even the chicken enchilada for $10 or I can go to in-n-out and get the number one for about $12 bucks. Don't be an idiot like me and go to this place just to get ripped off. I paid 13.50 for a tamal and 3.50 for a canned Pepsi.

Came in on my lunch break to meet up with a friend. I ordered for both of us and was told I could sit anywhere. We ordered (2) Saltado de Pollo lunch specials and (2) papa relleno. They brought us chicken rice soup which was hot and perfect for the cold day. The saltado de pollo was absolutely delicious. I had a side of pickled onions which were the perfect touch. There was a problem with the papas but the lady behind the counter was quick to solve the problem and was very apologetic. Bummed we couldn't stay longer to enjoy because we had to get back to work. Service was great, food was delicious and I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Super delicious and authentic Peruvian food. Usually get the lomo saltado and it's great. Flavors are deep and the green sauce is extra spicy here. The service is great and the lady working there is super nice.

Food was delicious, I can't wait to go back and have the tallarin verde con bistec .. Kevin was amazing with the service. Prices are acceptable.

The lamb was bone in but also fall off the bone tender. There was enough to share between two hungry females. They were so kind as to be patient with my mom's demands. It was wonderful to go into a cozy restaurant open for Christmas. They have Karaoke Fridays, Peruvian beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. They have French and Spanish wines. They do catering. There are some tasty looking vegetarian options. The space fits comfortably 45 people. Gracias. Feliz Navidad. Peruvian home cooking, the lamb reminded me of Filipino barbacua but it's good getting acquainted with Peruvian taste and culture. Their logo is so funny, it's a comic line drawing of a chicken, no doubt a specialty of the chef which I could tell from the aguadita, arroz caldo verde con pollo zanahorias y guisantes green soup of rice with chicken and peas and carrots. Their motto in Spanish translated means, "Here you're not clients, you're friends!" Really true. Made my Christmas, too. Check out their menu here, which doesn't include either their expansive spirits or juices libations. (234)

At many brunch restaurants, you can sometimes sense when the basics -- like pancakes or French toast -- aren't given the attention they deserve. They may look appealing on the menu but feel rushed or underwhelming when served. Here, however, the fundamentals are done right. There's care in the texture, balance, and execution, and that consistency makes all the difference. Weekend mornings often find us slightly sleepy and very hungry, searching for somewhere comforting to begin the day. What we want is warmth and familiarity -- something that feels almost as cozy as staying in bed. And when the craving for sweet carbohydrates hits, we're not looking for restraint. We're looking for soft, fluffy, fully satisfying bites. If that's what you're after, this location delivers. You'll likely leave in a better mood than when you arrived.

I liked the toasted brown spots on the outside of the burrito. The tiramisu pancakes weren't soggy from the soaked coffee/espresso. It had chunks of torn lady fingers on top. The interior inside is bright and fun with lots of decor items like roosters and "eat good"-type signage. They had TVs inside too but they weren't playing anything on them. The service was prompt and we got seated immediately when we came on a Monday. The bad: The blueberry lavender matcha was $8 and was too sweet. I don't think there was outside seating options. The burrito could have used more pico de gallo. It was a good burrito but not outstanding or something I'd order again. The interesting: They sell lots of drink options and lemonades from a different vendor (?) inside. They even had a mangonada!

I stole some off my partner's plate for my biscuit, which was warm and moist. If you're going on a weekend, it does get busy. Make sure to check in with the host if you're using Yelp Wait List, or you'll end up waiting longer than expected. It's also very loud and dark in there, so if you'd like a more chill ambiance, get seated on their patio.

The turon pancakes really tasted like the real caramelized turon. It had a nice sticky syrup on top that wasn't too sweet. The pancakes came super hot and were fluffy. The portion size was great. The cilantro sauce on the burrito was delicious. The pickled veggies added nice acidity that I appreciated. The bad: I don't know if there was any parking other than street parking. We parked right out front which was 1 hour parking and to the side is 20 minute parking. The interesting: You order and pay at the counter and the food gets brought out to you. I saw they had fresh cookies baked as well. Inside, there were festive balloons. I am not sure if it's always there or if they were from a special event. Service: servers are very friendly and welcoming! They are attentive and I think most of them are family? Vibes: very chill place, good to come for a casual meal. Seating is pretty close to other parties. Food: I have been here over four times, yet every time I come I just get the French breakfast. Last time I went, the server told me I should try something different, but the French breakfast is just that good!! It comes with either one croissant or four quarters of a baguette, fruit/yogurt/granola bowl, a hot drink of choice, and fresh orange juice. The two drink combo is what gets me with this one. I usually get the hot cocoa, and it is really rich and delicious. The OJ is super fresh and not too sweet or too sour, the bread is delicious and baked well, and the fruit with yogurt has a good balance between the acidity of the fruit and the tart yogurt. Maybe I'll try something else next time I go, but man is that French Breakfast good. He kept 1/2 sandwich to go and got the vegan salad and really loved it. We also ordered the mango and peach dessert. The mango was decent but the peach fell really short, no idea what it's suppose to taste like but it was def lacking. The pomegranate soda that was recommended was tasty. Avoid ordering via DoorDash as the app charges additional fees. I placed a mobile order and picked it up at the Dog Haus Carson location. [Parking]: There's a designated parking garage, but it was surprisingly packed on Sunday morning and I barely found an available spot at 10 AM on Sunday. [Atmosphere & order]: Dog Haus Carson has three TVs, but all of them were showing a bluish display rather than true color. Customers can also place walk-in orders via a kiosk. [Menu]: Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos serves breakfast burritos all day. According to DoorDash, the top three most-liked orders are the Haus Burrito, Bronco Burrito, and Wurst Burrito. *** Bronco Burrito (3 fresh eggs, smoked bacon, white american cheese, avocado, pickled jalapeños, crispy tater tots, cotija cheese & chipotle aioli wrapped in a flour tortilla then grilled - sunny side egg - $12.99): The bacon was a bit salty and the tortilla was mediocre. The fillings were good, but adding jalapeños felt like a questionable decision. Overall, it tasted too saucy for my liking and I didn't even touch the chipotle sauce that came on the side. *** This is one of those passable breakfast burritos you get because it is convenient and available all day. Personally, I am sticking to places like Phanny's or Brother's Burritos for breakfast burritos in the South Bay.
