Drinks were pretty good; I really liked the sangria. Chips and salsa were amazing. Restroom was really clean and the entire place was perfectly decorated and maintained. Taste it before you add anything to it. I also recommend trying the small conchas-they came out warm and ready to eat! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. Inside and out, Hugman's Oasis (named to honor the godfather of the Riverwalk) is a true tiki bar. Signage, furniture, lighting, music, interior finishes, fantastic decor, and (of course) drinks are well-done. If they had stayed open later, we would have tried all of the drinks, so there's another visit to come soon. Our bartender knew requested off-menu classics, which was impressive. We will not hesitate to seek refuge from the downtown streets in this oasis again any time.
