En la ciudad de Hialeah encontré este restaurante familiar de gastronomía peruana, el trato al cliente muy amable y atento y la comida excelente, realmente sabrosa, además los precios accesibles. Altamente recomendado.

Over the years, I have eaten here several times. Although I no longer work near this place, I still take the drive on some weekends because my family often craves their food. Post Covid, they now keep their door locked and take out orders are done outside but it's very efficient and they often offer you cold water while you wait. If you're dining in, they will still allow you to eat inside but it's controlled as far as capacity. I've mentioned, in many of my reviews that it's rare to find restaurants similar to this one with great food AND great customer service. Usually when you dine at a place that gets heavy traffic like Rinconcito Peruano, the staff gets so busy that they forget to be friendly but this is not the case here. As a matter of fact, since I've been ordering take out for so long, and I don't speak Spanish, I have my own person whom I speak with when I call in and she is the sweetest person. I ask for #4 (that's her number) and she comes to the phone and assists me. She even remembers the special things I like and always adds those little touches to my food each and every time without me having to ask each time (extra sauce etc). It's gotten to the point that she even greets me with a warm hug when I arrive to pick up my order. I feel so special when I come here. On one occasion, I asked my niece to call in the order for me. I told her "SALTADO" but her horrible pronunciation...lol, it sounded like she was saying "SUDADO". So of course, the order was incorrect but they were so nice about it that they ended up giving me a gift certificate towards my next order! I was shocked!!! I live too far away to come here as often as I would like to but I love it here!!! The food is always delicious and the staff is always PHENOMENAL! Thank you Rinconcito Peruano and #4 for making me feel your warm hospitality and friendly welcome each and every time I come! I'll be back soon...

This restaurant is full of love and happiness. You can feel it the minute you walk in and in every bite of the food! The service is like no other; they cater to your every request. Plus they are super economical for having food so fresh and well made (hard to find these days). This place is a gem!

I have been coming here for years and this restaurant never disappoints. Food is always good. Out of many Peruvian restaurants I have tried it can't compare to this neighborhood gem. Tucked away in Hialeah in a non descript shopping center it is definitely a trip to make. Service is top notch. I recommend highly.

The place is good to introduce you the Peruvian food, they have the almost topical plate. You can think that each plate is expensive but actually not because the portions are big and believe me, you can order to share it. I ordered "leche de Tigre" and was normal, not big deal, it can be better, however "lomo saltado" was really great and I think that is a great option. The "arroz chaufa" (Peruvian fried rice) was normal. Ask for Maria, she knows how to give you a pleasant time during your visit.

Rinconcito Peruano is Peruvian home cooking at its best. I really don't know why I haven't written a review of this place before... I have been coming here for years. Even before they had a restaurant ! When visiting Rinconcito Peruano order the fish ceviche, choros a la chalaca, Jalea mixta and maybe a Parihuela. I know it is a lot of food so either bring friends or take a few trips. You will like them all. The Parihuela soup is excellent, lots of seafood and a touch of spiciness that keeps drawing you in. Jalea mixta is this dish with all fried seafood (delicious). If you like drinks try the passion fruit pisco. This unpretentious restaurant delivers in food and in service. Thumbs up

Fortunately, a coworker pointed me toward Latin American Grill in Miami Lakes, just a few minutes from our hotel. It turned out to be exactly the sendoff I was hoping for. We started with the Sopa de Pollo, a bowl that made it immediately clear this kitchen isn't interested in shortcuts. Large chunks of chicken, tender vegetables, and noodles floated in a broth with remarkable depth. It wasn't simply chicken soup, it was the kind of soup that makes you wonder why every other version tastes so timid. A squeeze of fresh lime added just enough brightness to wake up every spoonful without distracting from the richness of the broth. Then came the reason for the visit. The Medianoche. I've always preferred the sweeter cousin of the traditional Cuban sandwich, and Latin American Grill makes a terrific one. Thick slices of ham and juicy mojo pork were layered with Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles before being pressed between soft, sweet bread until the outside turned beautifully crisp. Every ingredient had a purpose. The pork brought richness, the ham added salt, the mustard and pickles cut through the fat with welcome acidity, and the sweet bread tied everything together. It's one of those sandwiches that reminds you how satisfying simplicity can be when every component is done well. Sometimes the best restaurant recommendations don't come from guidebooks or social media. They come from someone who simply says, "You should eat here." In this case, they were absolutely right. A great Cuban sandwich doesn't need reinvention. It just needs great ingredients, careful execution, and a hot press. Latin American Grill delivers all three.

However, from both experiences, this is a solid spot when you're craving Cuban comfort food. My most recent order was lunch for myself today. I have a Fitness challenge coming up at OTF I need to bulk up more than my usual salad and chopchops. I ordered their pollo à la plancha (grilled chicken), moros rice and tostones. My order was a pretty good size came delivered at a good temperature. I will say the order was mostly rice, but the grilled chicken breast was bad enough and had a nicely tangy citrus marinade plus lots of little onions. ( The pure de Malanga comes in a large container (see pics) It's nice and creamy and warm soothing for the belly! There is enough to share or save for a later meal. ( shareable portion) As well I finished the grilled chicken and 1 tostone between lunch and dinner) opted to leave the rice and 1 tostone by out this time. On other occasions I have eaten the white rice and let me tell you it's moist... even my daughter ( whom is a picky teenager...that loves Cuban food) said " that's some good rice!" The grilled chicken is savory seasoned but not overly. It's like nice juicy flavor but not too over powering. The meal is was perfect to share or split in between two meals or even just indulge it all in one searing! You will be satisfied for hours and for good reason too! .

Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. We started with a couple of baskets of buttered herbed Cuban bread and dipping chimichurri, as well as an appetizer sampler including refried beans, fried cheese and tequenos. The fried cheese was served on a little piece of pita bread and is a must try. I also enjoyed the refried bean soup, especially when dipped with plantain chips. As far as my main course, everyone knows how much I love cows! I enjoyed a sizable piece of churrasco, juicy even at medium well, sweet plantains and moros (here they serve it with red beans instead of black beans) and crispy house-made plantain chips.
