Nothing really tastes fresh and just tastes like they make one giant batch at some point and use it throughout the week. The waitress took our order quickly and brought us some complimentary chips and salsa while we waited. The salsa was very fresh, and the chips crispy. I ordered lengua (tongue), chivo (goat), cabeza (head), orejas (pig ear), and cecina (smoked meat) tacos. I came specifically for the chivo, which had the nice gamey flavor of goat and was extremely tender. All the tacos were very tender, except the cecina, which was the most well seasoned and had the most chew. My other favorites are the soft gelatinous orejas tacos and the rich, fatty cabeza tacos. The tacos were only on a single tortilla, but i actually prefer that so that they're less filling. The single tortilla was able to hold in the ingredients just fine. Best of all, this place is super cheap. Each taco was $1.50 or less. This is now my new favorite taco spot.
