Combination Parrillada, mango margarita, piña colada

Wholly guacamole. I went to Mexican food heaven and landed in El Senorial. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more. The interior is very traditional with the restaurant name carved into every chair. The service is great. Waitstaff is nice and fast. It the food? Oh, the food. Oooooh the fooood. I'll say one last thing. Try the parrillada. It will change your life.

A sizzling sound that makes heads turn? You can never go wrong with fajitas, especially if they're shrimp fajitas! I rarely crave them, but when I do, it hits the spot. Also, a strawberry margarita to go with it!

Food was great and cooked right. Waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The margaritas were real good. Really liked how welcoming the place was, very friendly ambiance.

We love this place! True Southside gem. If you want authentic Mexican food that is always good, not a hit or miss, try this place. We love the parrilladas and the enchiladas suizas are my all time favorite here! Highly recommend this wonderful place where you always see a friendly face, great food! BYW the waitresses have known my kids since they were little, Says a lot about this establishment and their priorities!

Caldo de res and parradila to go from my favorite parradila spot in town! Never disappoints. The beef and vegetable soup is perfect winter/comfort food. The parradila is always good from here! Take out tip: ask them to pack the sides individually!

Great Mexican restaurant, with private parking lot across the street. Lot's of seating inside with their restaurant's name boldly on it. Menu is full with great meals. Service is quick and very friendly.

Such a great find!! My best friends and I ended up here after a Milwaukee food article online raved about this place! Did not disappoint! We walked in (5 of us), without a reservation, around 6 pm on a Wednesday. I wanted to sit outside because their seating area is in the shade. Unfortunately, the bees would not leave me alone and I could not sit still! We moved inside and the waitress was super kind! We were immediately served chips and salsa. The salsa tasted fresh with large chunks of tomatoes. When we also ordered guacamole, which was served with fresh, warm tortilla chips. The guacamole was very very smooth, like butter smooth! There were no chunks or large pieces of avocado, but it packed a punch! When it was time to order, I chose the burrito con pollo, since this was served with rice, beans, a salad, sour cream, and guacamole (the WORKS!!). We also ordered a pitcher of horchata, and it was wonderful! It had a perfect cinnamon flavor, but not too sweet. Our waiting time on the food was longer than expected, I did not think the restaurant was that busy for our delay, but I still gave this place five stars for flavor and service! My burrito was super tasty! The food was served fresh and in large quantities. I was pleased with my meal as it lasted me the next day for lunch as well! I will be returning! Furthermore, there is a parking lot associated with the restaurant across the street!

For our entrees, I got the taco truck dinner with pork pivil as my meat of choice. The meat was juicy, tender and had lots of flavor! The pinto beans had a nice smoky flavor. My boyfriend got the queso chimichanga. It didn't come with rice and beans, as they are inside the chimichanga. We both agreed, the queso was a nice addition to the chimichanga. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu!

The guacamole had a strong citrus flavor which I am a fan of and the salsa was complimentary! I would HIGHLY recommend the best burrito ($15) as they did not skimp on any ingredient, especially the flavorful pork pibil. My only qualm was that the rice was undercooked and slightly crunchy, but otherwise an affordable and tasty restaurant for a date night. The staff were friendly, service was fast (less than 10min to receive food after ordering) and the restaurant had bright and colorful furniture and decor which were true to theme.

It's Saturday and I'm thinking......Don Lucho!!!!!…read more The team has been up since late night roasting and boiling and creating the most amazing carnitas you will find in Milwaukee. Get here early - parking sucks, and suburbanites will freak out at the hood, but no worries Jesus is right next door at St. Josaphats basilica and will watch over you. And don't forget to take a tour of one of this country's most beautiful cathedrals. Right there by Don Luchos. You can eat here. Lots of long communal tables so don't be shy. Prices aren't cheap but this is quality. I usually get a pound or so of carnitas. They measure it out, it's steaming, and ask if you want it chopped. I say yes. It's wrapped up tightly and it will feed you all weekend. This meat is freaking amazing!!!! I pray they haven't run out of homemade tortillas, but like I said, you gotta come EARLY. Sigh. There's about 6 different amazing salsas to try. Smoky, fresh, green, red, hot sweet - I get two for the weekend. I consider a quart of menudo. I think about. Lamb, goat, barbacoa, chorizo - but I have enough. Too hungry to wait to go home, I sit down to eat. Two tacos - huge! The best was the barbacoa - tasty little carmelized deeply flavored meat bits. Hey - don't go expecting American extras like sour cream or cheese. This is the real thing. Warming: one taco will do you. Got a side of rice and beans - yum. Don Lucho is a treasure. It is authentic, mom and pop, and these are the businesses I love to support. For an incredible adventure and source of authentic carnitas, git yourself down to da south side ya day hair and ENJOY!!!!!!
