They have "THE" French butter, and yes I went home with $100 worth of butter. No regrets. The workers were quite welcoming, and the prices are NOT overly marked up at all. I was expecting prices to be more expensive than usual, but I was very surprised and delighted to see that it wasn't. Whenever I head to this side of Cali, I'll be sure to stop by here for my treats.

My goal was to get some French butter as I saw they have a huge selection of it. I found so many other items like 3 freezer full of items like pain au chocolaté and croissants made in France. All you have to do is bake it at home. They also have frozen baguettes. I got frozen pastries and I also got some French butter and their selection is massive with different flavors. I typically get this butter at the grove but this place has sooo many varieties. I also picked up Italian flour (to make pizza dough) and canned pizza sauce that they recommended. I picked up some Patata Torres chips as well. Will definitely be back to explore the store more. Definitely worth the visit if you're into cooking and like gourmet foods.

Mercado Buenos Aires was a pleasant surprise and definitely lived up to the positive reviews. The…read morerestaurant is spacious, clean, and has plenty of seating, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. My server, Luis, was outstanding throughout the visit... friendly, attentive, and always making sure I had everything I needed. His excellent service really elevated the overall experience. The highlight of my meal was easily the breakfast steak and eggs with potatoes. The steak was flavorful, prepped well, and paired perfectly with the eggs and crispy potatoes. The coffee was also very good and complemented the breakfast nicely. Before the meal, I was served a sweet bread with cream and berry topping, which was a nice touch and a tasty way to start. I also tried the skirt steak with a side salad on a different day. While the steak had some flavor, it was much heavier than expected, and unfortunately the same can be said of the side salad. The silver lining in this instance was the french baguette, which was fresh enough but nothing particularly memorable. As far as desserts, I had the tiramisu, and it was fantastic. It was light, creamy, and the perfect ending to the meal (steak and eggs). Even though not every dish was a home run. the phenomenal breakfast, excellent tiramisu, very good coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service from Luis made this an easy place to recommend. I'll definitely be back, especially for breakfast.

But honestly, we keep coming back mainly for the meat. Their parrilla is LOVE. Perfect for sharing with 3-4 people, incredibly flavorful and always satisfying. And the desserts... they're so cozy and delicious, they honestly taste like something my grandma would bake for me :) Warm, homemade and impossible to resist. Another huge plus is the pricing, very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. This place feels authentic in the best possible way. One of our absolute favorite spots whenever we're craving real Argentine food in LA.

I was a little worried because it didn't seem like they had a lot of options available in the case, but they brought out a lot more for me to choose from. The space is really quite large. I was happy to see there was a seafood counter with a display case of smoked fish, a couple of dips, aged beef. The guys were super friendly behind the counter. I spotted the cafe area where they serve coffees and teas - I made a note that I had to come back to try that. Back to the deli counter - they recommended I try the smoked sea bass since they don't get it in often so I took some of that and a smoked salmon collar. The hand roll bar was empty since it was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner. I promised the sushi chef there that I would return. So I went back today with a couple of friends. We sat at that hand roll bar and had the best hand rolls I've ever had. We ordered a la carte and I absolutely loved those creations - full of flavor, texture - unique and tantalizing! I'm curious to go back and try some of the other things on there like the burger? the shabu shabu? I can't wait to see how they serve those items. Their little market area is fascinating as well - with small bottles of soy sauce aged in bourbon barrels and other delicious sounding ingredients. I did end up taking home a shaker bottle of their house made furikake. Can't wait to try that! I'm so happy this is in the neighborhood. It's a great spot to introduce friends to and serves as inspiration for anyone who loves to cook.
