Their nachos are awesome! Usually when I've tried to order nachos at mexican food establishments, they put some nasty cheese all over it and mess it up. Fast food nacho makers use that yellow/velveeta looking cheese which is good but doesn't compare to the Taco Llama nachos. The first time I came here was about two years ago?? and unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience. I was upset because their chicken tacos come with grilled bell peppers and onions so if you're looking in for that then I recommend to get them. But I have to admit, my second time was definitely a charm! I think they got new workers or a different manager because my experience was 10x better. I ordered a carnitas quesadilla and it was spectacular! (Btw carnitas was a better alternative for the chicken) Their horchata is also suuuuuper good. I was skeptical when I arrived as the place is really small and not in the cleanest area, but I went in and we ordered a machaca burrito and five carne asada tacos and had two huge cups of horchata. The burrito was delicious and a decent size. The tacos were delicious, though not served with lime so I had to ask for some, with the addition of lime juice they were scrumptious. There's only one drawback.. they only accept cash. There's lots to choose from to eat and drink. Drinks are refillable 50 cents for regular and 1.00 for large. You don't have to get a refill of the same drink, you can get a different drink. The difference between this taco llama and others is that this one has tables and chairs. Most of the other locations have booths. big guy like me needs a table and chair. There's also a side bar that has salsa, etc. I have been ordering to-go from the other locations, but was introduced to this location a few years ago. So when I crave to dine, I will come here. Otherwise I will go to the other locations for pickup orders. Food is great and so is customer service. Try the burrito de camaron. I think I misspelt it, but its the shrimp burrito. Just had someone picked up an order for me... I called them ahead of time to ask for a burrito with avocado and ask for Hot sauce on the side and other stuff when my brother food was brought to me it had no avocado and no sauce not at all.. very frustrating because I had it picked up from and dropped off to me. When I called him they were like oh she didn't charge you for avocado. Again that's not the point the point is that there was no avocado on my burrito and no sauce as I had requested. The guy said we have no avocado to put in there so we did not charge you for it I said OK but when I called I asked the lady if I could get my burrito with avocado and she said yes if she would have told me they had no avocado I would have never placed an order with you guys. Super frustrating when you try to give a restaurant that has good food a second chance because mistakes happen and then it's made clear that those mistakes are due to straight up negligence. I've ordered from this place on 3 different apps now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I do, they never send what is SUPPOSED to come with the tacos. I don't know not ONE person who eats tacos completely plain, just tortillas and meat, so it's mind boggling to me that they don't notice a bag missing salsa, limes, onion and cilantro before sending it out. So I tried to make it easier by leaving a reminder in the special instructions section for EACH TACO, but that doesn't make a difference either because I'm always left with plain tacos. I wouldn't even care if they just put the onions and cilantro ON the taco instead of on the side, but I don't even get that. And then I called them and the girl I spoke to said she just didn't see the instructions.. which was hilarious because the receipt stapled to the bag was so long in length due to my reminders, yet she didn't see it? I ordered through Uber Eats. I ordered 1 lengua taco, 1 al pastor, 1 asada, and 1 fish. They were very all bland. They topped the tacos with onion and cilantro instead of serving it on the side. They did not give lime or lemon or salt. The fish was extremely over cooked (fried). The guacamole is disgusting, no flavor. I added salt and lime (from home) to the tacos and it barely helped.
