The food is amazing especially the chilaquiles 10/10 I come in almost every week just for the chilaquiles, the best I've ever had . the service here is amazing as well very nice and very clean space

Recently attended to this local place and just want to say ¡wow! The food was great and it is beautifully presented, the prices are not bad as well compared to other latino restaurants, the salsa was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and the food was fastly served, we ordered Chilaquiles, quesabirria and some egg with ham for the baby, they even threw in some beans and rice for him at no extra cost, the place might be a little small if you are a larger party but the place overall is very clean and nice looking.

I had the Caldo de Camarón. It was amazing, flavorful with perfect seasonings to compliment the fresh shrimp (10 pieces). Also had fresh zucchini, carrots cabbage. Comfort food for sure! I would order this soup again!

My husband and I just came back from a vacation in Mexico and we were missing the authentic food from Mexico. So I went on yelp and found this place. It was soo good! We got 3 dif shrimp dishes, portions are good and it also comes with beans and rice on the side. All the food was rich in flavor, the staff were nice and accommodating.

Not bad, fast friendly and quick to serve. Salsa was marginal but the asada meat was seasoned and cooked well. Would do well in a late night pinch

    El Taconazo tacos (steak,chicken,shrimp)

Was kind of nervous to try this place since it looks so small. I got the el taconazo, three tacos of steak, chicken, and shrimp. The tacos were super good! I finished every single bite. I should of taken a picture of my plate after I finished, it looked like it was licked clean. My husband got a burrito and kept staring at my tacos haha. After moving to Daly City, this is my first Mexican place I have tried, I don't know if I will try any other! The horchata is also very good, very refreshing! If you need a drink to go with the food, don't forget the horchata!! Anytime someone asks for tacos, I will for sure recommend this place!

Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 We ordered huevos de la mexicana and al pastor and pollo asado tacos. Everything was really good! Cute little place too. The service was fantastic! Will return.

This past Wednesday I had the HUGEST craving for menudo, which is a weekend offering at most Mexican restaurants. After a long search in my area, I finally found El Taconazo in Daly City and it was so so good!! Flavorful with plenty of tripe, garnishes, and tortillas. Delivery was quick and it totally hit the spot. So now you know, menudo everyday. YEA!! With that said, I also tried their other offerings like enchiladas, birria, and chile relleno - they were all okay and can skip.

I ordered a super michelada and it's delicious. The shrimp are super tasty and the Michelada was spicy and just perfect. I definitely recommend it. To eat, we ordered the camarones a la diabla extra spicy level and they did not disappoint. We also ordered the botanazo appetizer and the mixto molcajete. This is definitely the place to come for mariscos and seafood, and don't forget about the super michelada!

I visited recently to try their super breakfast burrito. The couple working here are extremely friendly and hard working people. So how was my burrito? Not welcoming, not friendly, just straight attitude. That already set the tone. Now let's talk tacos. I'm from LA, so when it comes to street tacos, I know what's up. $5.99 for a regular street taco?? And $7.99 for lengua?? Be serious. That's gourmet pricing without gourmet quality. Especially after seeing their old menu prices went from $2.99 to $3.50 to $3.99... and now suddenly almost $6? That price evolution is wild. Respect to the man cooking, he was actually very nice. But kindness alone doesn't justify those prices. The quality just didn't match what they're charging. Inflation is real, but so is value. And this wasn't it.

The birria tacos came with 3 regular sized tacos and honestly each one is pretty dense with meat and cheese. The consome also had some meat although, I think it was beef and not goat. Everything was tender but the flavor was just ok for me. My mom wanted a carnitas super burrito and this was pretty good. Lots of meat and some bits were crispy just how I like it. I wouldn't mind getting it again but I do want to try their al pastor next time. Their fish plate was pretty good as well. Loved the crispness of the fish and it didn't feel greasy or heavy. It came with avocados, rice, beans, lettuce and 4 flour tortillas. I wouldn't mind getting this again. A basket of chips came for each person as soon as we sat down and there was a healthy selection of salsa. I didn't care for the chips itself as they were too salty for me. The ambiance is very festive and there were plenty of people coming in and out. We dined in and found myself wishing they gave real silverware rather than plastic. We were only give one real fork for the fish and it was difficult to break apart. Their plastic cutlery was also pretty flimsy so we mostly ate with our hands. Overall, I'd still come back and try other dishes.

The menu offers a variety of items, and we decided on the elote tots (tater tots and elote street-style corn), an appetizer that sounded different, and for the main dishes, the nachos with added soy chorizo and the spaghetti with Poblano chili sauce, plus a side of soy chorizo. The food came quickly, and the elote tots were amazingly good! The combination of tater tots, the corn, and the cheeses (sauce and crumbled) was amazing mix of textures and flavors. The nachos were good, and the pasta with poblano sauce was also very good. The sauce was creamy, with a slight heat, and very different. The soy chorizo was not my favorite, and in the nachos, the crumbled form of the soy chorizo was better suited as an add than as a side to the pasta (maybe it was intended to be mixed in, but I wanted to eat it separately). Just too crumbled and a little dry for me. The service was great, and thanks to Dioscelyn for that. Overall, a very nice meal. We were not hurried and stayed at the table a bit to chat. Esquites (street corn) was fresh off the cob which was nice, however it was in a soup of too much mayo--pass. Ceviche and octopus appetizers were delicious, and go well with the complimentary tortilla chips (I prefer thin over the thicker accompanying chips). Short rib was tender in a tasty mojo sauce and comes with warm tortillas so you can make your own little tacos. I still preferred the tamale though. Agua fresca good and horchata fresh, however definitely smaller than what you may be used to. Overall good visit. Will be back when we're in the mood for this type of Mexican food.
