The food is amazing especially the chilaquiles 10/10 I come in almost every week just for the chilaquiles, the best I've ever had . the service here is amazing as well very nice and very clean space

Recently attended to this local place and just want to say ¡wow! The food was great and it is beautifully presented, the prices are not bad as well compared to other latino restaurants, the salsa was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and the food was fastly served, we ordered Chilaquiles, quesabirria and some egg with ham for the baby, they even threw in some beans and rice for him at no extra cost, the place might be a little small if you are a larger party but the place overall is very clean and nice looking.

I had the Caldo de Camarón. It was amazing, flavorful with perfect seasonings to compliment the fresh shrimp (10 pieces). Also had fresh zucchini, carrots cabbage. Comfort food for sure! I would order this soup again!

My husband and I just came back from a vacation in Mexico and we were missing the authentic food from Mexico. So I went on yelp and found this place. It was soo good! We got 3 dif shrimp dishes, portions are good and it also comes with beans and rice on the side. All the food was rich in flavor, the staff were nice and accommodating.

    El Taconazo tacos (steak,chicken,shrimp)

Was kind of nervous to try this place since it looks so small. I got the el taconazo, three tacos of steak, chicken, and shrimp. The tacos were super good! I finished every single bite. I should of taken a picture of my plate after I finished, it looked like it was licked clean. My husband got a burrito and kept staring at my tacos haha. After moving to Daly City, this is my first Mexican place I have tried, I don't know if I will try any other! The horchata is also very good, very refreshing! If you need a drink to go with the food, don't forget the horchata!! Anytime someone asks for tacos, I will for sure recommend this place!

Not bad, fast friendly and quick to serve. Salsa was marginal but the asada meat was seasoned and cooked well. Would do well in a late night pinch

This past Wednesday I had the HUGEST craving for menudo, which is a weekend offering at most Mexican restaurants. After a long search in my area, I finally found El Taconazo in Daly City and it was so so good!! Flavorful with plenty of tripe, garnishes, and tortillas. Delivery was quick and it totally hit the spot. So now you know, menudo everyday. YEA!! With that said, I also tried their other offerings like enchiladas, birria, and chile relleno - they were all okay and can skip.

I ordered a super michelada and it's delicious. The shrimp are super tasty and the Michelada was spicy and just perfect. I definitely recommend it. To eat, we ordered the camarones a la diabla extra spicy level and they did not disappoint. We also ordered the botanazo appetizer and the mixto molcajete. This is definitely the place to come for mariscos and seafood, and don't forget about the super michelada!

My most recent visit for lunch on a Saturday was very busy! The line was out the door but they move fast and the food comes out even quicker. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor tables where you sit wherever you. There is self service water with and without lemon throughout the location. Pros: Quick and friendly service Tasty lobster rolls, lobster chowder, and crab sandwiches Con: Parking is VERY limited. They have a small lot in the back and you can park against their fence but over the weekend it's almost impossible. There is street parking but also a little hard if you want to park directly nearby. I parked about 1.5 blocks away on the next street parallel to the restaurant. The naked lobster roll is one of my favorites because you can really taste the meatiness of the lobster. You can tell it is fresh in every way with the buttery brioche bread. The tray comes loaded with chips and a side of Cole slaw. If you come with friends, I recommend getting a bowl of the lobster soup to share. Dipping the chips into the soup is chef's kiss! If you are a smaller party, you can always get the 1/2 lobster roll and cup of soup. But the better deal is to get the soup to share on the side since the lobster roll is $39 vs the 1/2 lobster roll and cup of soup is $37. If choosing between the which lobster roll to get, I opt for the naked roll because of the freshness and it is not as heavy. The dressed lobster roll has a good amount of flavor and pairs well with the bread, it's a little heavier because of the mayo and butter brioche bread. They don't use a ton of mayo in it so it's not as bad as you may think. I've had the twin tails in the past and I can definitely say it was very easy to get the lobster out. Sometimes some places make it more difficult and people don't want to really dig in with their hands. Safe to say it was very easy to eat. Over the years, I've seen the price go up with inflation unfortunately. So I definitely still come but as a little treat to myself or if I were to come celebrate a special occasion.

Also, staff cleaning up and putting out food were quick and if you blinked you'd miss them! 5/5 for service Now on to the food! I'm not quite sure how this place has such a low rating. The sushi was decent and the sashimi served ice cold, I loved the kimchi, raw oysters, and cold mussels 4.6/5 for cold foods. I moved onto the hot foods next and had their green beans, spring rolls, dumplings, chowmein, roasted duck, spicy frog legs, snails, clams, mussels, fried prawns, and hot and sour soup (which was so yummy) & this area was decent but not stellar, I'd rate a 3.5/5. Their desserts and drinks really put this place over the top for me, their unlimited cold jasmine tea was light and flavorful, their Rose mousse cup was surprising in the best way, and the chocolate fountain with marshmallows was just what I needed to top off my meal 4.5/5. The place is in a big shopping center so there are quite many places to park. The restaurant is very modern and clean, I liked it right away. There are quite a few dishes to choose from. We ordered from the kiosk and I was amazed that how inexpensive this place is. Everything we wanted to order costs less than $15 and seems to be plentiful. I wanted the Cajun Fish Battered Tacos with flour tortillas, french fries and zucchini. There are quite a few types of drinks that are good. My order was made wrong, cajun fish without battered and they fixed it with only one but I didn't want to bother. One cajun fish taco and a battered fish tacos (not cajun), may be the cook couldn't wait to leave because they close early at 6PM due to 250 years of independence. Anyhow, the battered fish is very crispy and delicious, the cajun fish without batter is a little dry but still tasty. The french fries are crispy and good. The zucchini is excellent. For less than $15, my plate is plentiful and tasty. My brother in-law got the protein bowl which looked quite tempting. Next time definitely will make sure they have the Cajun Fish Battered tacos for me LOL. Too bad they don't have one in Fremont. After dinner we went to shop at TJMaxx and nordstrom rack near by, quite nice.

I used the promotion on the website to get 2 free pounds of shrimp as well as the #7 combo (shrimp, mussels, crawfish). I got the combo in the super ultimate sauce. The flavor of the sauce was pretty good, and you get a lot of it in the bag. It was interesting because it had a bit of a tomato-y scent to it, almost like creamy spaghetti sauce, but it also reminded me of instant ramen flavoring (lol)?? I like that the sauce didn't taste as salty or as unhealthy as Boiling Crab's sauce, which has a ton of butter and leaves me chugging water afterwards. As for the seafood itself, the shrimp was good but a bit overcooked. My favorite part of shrimp is eating the heads, but these heads did not taste very good or fresh. Similarly, I got a few mussels that were closed which means they were dead before cooking and have to be tossed. I also wish they had a combo that was shrimp + mussels + clams because I don't really like crawfish. I do like that the combo comes with some sides, but the sausage pieces should definitely be bigger than some skinny slices. Overall taste of the bag was fine, and it was piping hot so seems like it was really freshly cooked when I picked up. Cajun Bowl hit the spot and I'm glad I have this option close to home!

The shrimp mac and cheese was very delicious and the crab legs were large and meaty. Food is meant to be shared, but my group all got separate entrees. I ordered the garlic shrimp rice plate, which was filling just for one person. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough shrimp! Flavor was garlicky, but not salty enough. This is probably a good thing, since you can adjust to your own dietary preference. A bit on the oily side (hence filling), but that's to be expected with garlic shrimp. The night we went, there was a birthday party happening in their private room. It was really loud and noisy, so it was hard to hear folks. Our server was nice, but fortunately for us he spoke loud enough for us to hear him despite all the loud music! Parking can be tough as it's in a residential area of DC with most of the parking being residential. So you might need to walk!
