After I pick my wife up from the airport, we stopped and got a bite to eat. It was late but they were open. We went to the bar area and I ordered a dish that had a skillet. The waitress said be careful it's hot. As I was reaching for my drink, I burn myself on the handle of the skillet. I called and spoke to a manager a few days later and she said the skillets are supposed to have a protective sleeve. Just be careful when you go there and if you order the fajitas, make sure they put a sleeve on the skillet. read more

Came here for happy hour which is from 3PM-7PM on the weekdays since we got a gift card from Costco! The service was good and our orders were taken fast. My wife and I had drinks to start off with and those were delicious. The food was taking a while to come so we got another round. Our waitress mistakingly brought us the same drinks from the first round but we wanted to try new ones. It was alright since she was able to fix the order for us promptly. The food finally came after waiting for a while but all of it tasted good! We had 4 food items and 4 drinks but the price is very reasonable. I've never been here on Thanksgiving or any restaurant on Thanksgiving, but this year was a little different so my family and I went here for Thanksgiving and they had an open buffet super clean areas delicious food, not traditional at home meals, but it was definitely an experience and a way to try torito. We went to rl torito for Super Bowl Sunday. Food was ok. Overpriced for the amount of food received. It's $26.99 for carne asada, tortillas, shrimp, rice & beans, I never even got my tortillas Bug what was worst was when we got the bill. We had the total for food, taxes, space for tip, and a surcharge for 3.00. Asked server what it was for. He said all restaurants do it and we've done here for 3 years. That was not a good answer. Regardless I'm not returning to eat at el torito ever. Come to find out it's illegal to charge a surcharge. As of July 1, 2024, California restaurants are no longer allowed to charge surcharges on customer bills. This is due to the Honest Pricing Law, also known as SB 478, which requires businesses to include all required fees in their advertised prices. ® read more

My wife and I decided to meetup with my brother and his girlfriend for an adult dinner outing. My wife and I got there early and went to the bar for chips and salsa. I ordered a Nonalcoholic Corona with a chilled glass and it was very tasty. When my brother arrived we sat in a booth and we had to wait a few minutes because they were very short staffed so we didn't really have a problem since it was a Sunday night and it was dinner time. But overall the service and food were very good. They have plenty of TVs so I got to watch the Sunday Night Football game. Very chill vibe and got to catch up with my brother. Skipped the Valentine dinner craziness and went to El Torito in Cypress on Saturday instead. I've been here several times and have had the 'BEST' waiter each time. His name is Jorge, and he's delightfully funny and personable, VERY attentive and just all round great at his job. It's family time. And food is the conduit for it all. It certainly helps the food is delicious. The variety is ample. I assume the menu changes during seasons. Did I mention bottomless mimosas!
