I haven't eat here for years and decided to do take out instead of dine in. This place was so good years ago but what the heck happened? I live about 1/2 mile from this place and ordered the Nachos supreme. I've never been this disappointed in service or food until now. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes but waited for 25 minutes and when I got home all the chips were soggy and the cheese was already solid. Stopped by here for Sunday brunch. This place was pretty crowded. We got sits close to the entrance of the restaurants and the food for the brunch was in the back of the restaurant so I really didn't enjoy having to walk all the way to the back to get food. But I guess since they were busy that was pretty much the only option. For future, I would prefer to go after brunch hours or simply to a bigger location. The staff was not really attentive. I asked for milk for my daughter's cereal and by the time I got the milk after the 2nd time of asking for it she was done eating her dry cereal. Overall, it was not such a pleasant dining experience. Well this review is for the restaurant not the outside and location. Was there yesterday in the bar and becuz I heard the happy hour drinks wer watered down, I ordered a margarita with a extra shot on the side. But after tasting the margarita I knew I was in trouble - that thing was strong!! And with the extra shot I poured in there, ugh. I was buzzin in like 15 min flat!!. I ordered some nachos with chicken, they wer good. Service was a little slow but I was ok with it becuz I was deep in conversation with a friend. Around 930 pm Spanish music started. Just got the flan: I was craving flan and knew there was an El Torito near me. Called in my order and picked it up pretty easily. The flan was edible, but not good flan. It was overmixed and undercooked. Too many bubbles in the custard and definitely not solid. It wasn't runny, but it need a good five more minutes in the oven. The caramel portion also tasted like it had corn syrup in it- I could be wrong. Overall, my craving was not satiated and I will not be ordering their flan again. read more

I love tableside guacamole, so naturally my son does too. He chose to come here on his 10th birthday after an entire day at six flags. We were beat and starving. Our server Cynthia was the worst server we've ever had. The whole time she served us she was smacking gum which is gross and unprofessional as a waitress. She didn't check on us, we had to ask several other severs for more salsa or chips and even our drink refills. We had to ask to hosts to help us get her to get our bill. She openly complained that we were "sat" which let us know she didn't want to bother with us because she was too lazy to work. She had a bad attitude. And worst of all, she made inappropriate jokes with some gentleman at a table near by while I'm sitting having dinner with my children!! Mentioned it to Vanessa, a so-called manager and she certainly didn't care!! If this is how you run your restaurant then I'll not come back and keep my money.
