This has been my favorite Mariscos spot for about 16 years. I really enjoy their ceviche. Since I recently transitioned into becoming an Alkaline Vegan I have gladly went back and broken my diet more than 8 times at this wonderful establishment. They are very famous for their signature hot sauce that they make there from scratch. Over the years I have brought more than a dozen family and friends to this restaurant, and they are all now lifetime customers. This is easily in my opinion, the best restaurant in all of Inglewood. First of all I want to say that at least when I went. The cook and the person taking the order were kind and welcoming. However, when it came to the food I feel like it was a bit expensive for what it is. I ordered a caldo de camarón. The broth was amazing !!! It had so much flavor. But ! The lack of shrimp was disappointing and upsetting. For the amount that I paid. I would expect a good amount of shrimp and veggies. I wanted to like this place more than I did. I usually like little dingy hole in the wall establishments. I ordered the mixto ceviche tostada ($14). The portion was decent, but it was completely slathered in that red, ketchupy cocktail sauce. I get that some people like it that way, but it drowned out the freshness. It wasn't terrible -- just not what I was hoping for at that price point. What really missed the mark was the fish taco. Charging $7 for an overcooked, old-tasting fish patty that was cut into strips and thrown on two store-bought tortillas is wild. That's not a fish taco -- that's something you throw together at home when the freezer's almost empty. I should have asked the price before hand because it was not marked on the menu but the server could have told us the price as well so I think he intentionally didn't say anything for that reason. This seems like a place that tries to squeeze the most money out of you with high prices and low value but doesn't realize that they would get more money in the long run with repeat business and volume. I'll give credit where it's due: service was fine, friendly enough, and I appreciate that. Overall, it's not awful, but it's not something I'd come back for or recommend, especially with better mariscos spots around the area.. 2.5 stars feels fair. read more

This place is a little hidden GEM !!! They have the best ceviche de Pescado tostadas. I also love their cóctel de Camaron. I always get the filete al mojo de ajo it's amazing comes with salad and their fluffy red rice. I just really love this places for mariscos when I'm in that area. MUST TRY !!! read more

I love this place because it's a mom and pop. How could you not love a mom and pop! We ordered a mixed cocktail, aguachiles and a mixed tostada. I loved the aguachiles it was so spicy but so refreshing after a long night of getting sauced at a wedding. Everything was fresh! The only thing I was t a fan of was a red citrusy type sauce they put on the cocktail and tostada. I have to say for me personally when it comes down to ceviche I prefer them being cooked in lime juice and heavy chile. More savory than sweet for me, however the quality was great! Was craving some ceviche and since my last sea food spot , decided to try this little location ( it roughly fits 20 people or so ). We ordered shrimp ceviche tostadas and aguachiles. The tostadas were not disappointing at all, it was everything i had hoped for. The aguachiles were a little different than what I'm use to, a little creamier but nonetheless very tasty . I've ben coming here for years because the only thing I like is the Campechana cocktail . The lady/owner is a rude unpleasant bitch! When we told her our count , her fucking husband/chef came out barging telling us that we grabbed extra beer . Witch we didn't , She then made a big ole fuss regarding the beer count , and I told her no big deal we are not here to rip her off we got money ! if we miss calculated the beer count sorry , You not going to loose if we mis pay for extra beer , mind you the beers are 7.50 each witch is a rip off I get the beer cheaper at way better fancy restaurants. I then told her jokingly "Dam I've ben coming here for yeeears and you can't even give me a free beer" oooh shit that's when I really got to her and started telling me about all her business expenses and telling me they are not here to give out donations . I then told her that she has a bad attitude approaching the situation knowing that I've ben a loyal customer for years , and again if we miss calculated sorry it's not our intention we got a total of 8 beers at 7.50 each that's 60 bucks how in the fuck are you loosing ‍ and if 1-2 beers got away due to bad calculations it shouldn't be a big deal it's just beer . I am on a shrimp cocktail venture. I read the yelp reviews and it was local so i drove to the location and order a shrimp cocktail. It is a very small with about 3 dine in tables. Their were a few people having sit down meals. I walked up to the lady and she said, may I help you? I said, may I have a shrimp cocktail. She said, warm or cold. I didn't know about warm cocktail, so I said, cold and she automatically said to go, I had know options to eat here so I said, yes to go. I hate to be swayed up to five stars but this place does exceed expectations. Driving up, spotting La Sirena Azul is a surprise. It's a tiny building. There's dancing, but it turns out to be the world's smallest Zumba studio. The other half of the tiny building is La Sirena Azul. It's maybe six tables. If its air conditioned, it's hard to tell. Turns out the place is great. The owner was friendly. Chips and home made salsa were both fresh & plentiful . An order of guacamole was a huge plateful of avocado, onions, cilantro...delicious, and, actually too much for three of us. Three halved limes were place on the table for use in food, beer as you see fit. Entrees were just about all seafood. I had the mixto seafood tostada. Squid, octopus, shrimp and who-knows-what-all was several inches high and entirely covered the tortilla and the plate. My experience with ceviche has always been a tart lime flavor, but here the sauce was tomato based offering a light tomato flavor. My friends tried the spicy shrimp. It was plenty of shrimp on yellow rice with a seriously punchy tomato sauce. Not hot enough? The owner brings out his homemade hot sauce so you can season to taste. Prices are more than fair. Three dinners, guacamole, three beers and a coke were about $55. Great to be surprised by a fun restaurant experience. read more

Ok. It took about 2 weeks to get my co-workers on one page to join me on this "adventure" of Inglewood and Mexican seafood. Finally agreed upon on this beautiful Friday and in no way was this a disappointment. I had the ceviche tostada which was dynamite. My co-workers ordered the pulpo (octopus) tostada and man was that a heap of food. It was a mountain. Let's just say fork needed with the tostada. Not even two hands could tame that bad boy. It was delicious. It tasted fresh and the octopus was tender (I know an oxi-moron when you talk about octopus, but it was delicious!!) Ordering one of those next time. We all chased it down with a shrimp cocktail. The ladies ordered the chico which was a perfect size, and our guy ordered the grande. His cocktail looked the Heisman trophy and as big as my head (I have a pretty big one). It was fresh, delicious and definitely memorable. The creamy avocado, the fresh onions, tomatoes, cilantro and can't forget the succulent shrimp. They have some fresh salsa's that add some spice to your life and definitely worth accompanying your swimming shrimp. We have planned another trip there because what could we say. oh man. ridiculous mariscos goodness. this quaint little place is now my go-to ceviche spot. it's a humble looking shop that seats only 22 at a time, but man... do not let that fool you. my favorite dish is the mixta ceviche tostada. heaping serving of octopus, shrimp and crab on a tostada. so good! the grilled oysters are also delicious. the meal comes with bottomless chips and your table has two sauces: a sweet sauce and a spicy one. both are excellent! i cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Also provided, are two squeeze bottles of additional sauce. one the same as that on the ceviche and the other a hot dark pepper sauce. The hot has a smokey depth and a late burn that seems to originate at the base of your taste buds. They will bring bowls of cilantro and onions, as well, if you request. This place is decent if you want a quick fix of Mexican Mariscos. I recommend the coctel de pulpo y camaron since the broth was very good. My dad had the tostada mixta and claimed it was also very good ALTHOUGH they totally skipped the avocado and were stingy with the shrimp on the tostada (3-4 little shrimp). The location itself is really small and hot so if you feel like eating in do wear light, loose clothes. Found this lil hole in the wall on yelp the other day while looking for lunch places to go to while I got my tires changed at PS2 Wheels next door (which by the way is a great custom wheel, rim and tire place). I ordered 2 fish ceviches to go. The fish ceviche was sooo good and only $1.50 each. She gave a good amount but since this was my whole lunch I decided to get 2 orders of it. The 2 orders fully filled up 2 tostadas (which I think they made fresh). The ceviche was very citrusy but fresh and full of delish fresh cilantro and topped with perfectly ripe avocado chunks. The hot sauce they make there is pretty spicy and really good, make sure to use that instead of tapatio. They have parking in the back and tables inside. They also sell beer. As we were standing there this lady(May be the owner) didn't have a mask on and was grabbing the chips for us and other customers with her bare hands. We informed her that we would really appreciate if she would wear gloves and she responded with attitude saying "I touched my face with a napkin not my bare hands FYI." I respectfully told her that regardless of her using a napkin, she still touched her face and other objects. I then proceeded to tell her that I understood her, but that in these difficult times certain precautions need to be taken. Since, she obviously got bothered and proceeded to give us attitude, we decided to cancel our order and take our business elsewhere. BEWARE UNSANITARY HEATH VIOLATIONS ! live a couple blocks away from this place and thought I'd give it a try , terrible service ! the lady who drives a blue truck is very rude and the it took forever for me to get my food and I was the only one ! When I left the parking lot I noticed that the back screen door was wide open and they were cooling rice off in trays on the FLOOR with the door wide open! anything could've crawled in that rice ! and as I was pulling out one of the workers mixed the rice with his BARE hands !
