My cousin invited us to enjoy some margaritas on a Wednesday night. There were seven of us and we waited and waited for a table. There were plenty of tables that were empty but we still had to wait. There's something about the interior that needs a better atmosphere. After sitting down we ordered a variety of margaritas which turned out to be pretty good but weren't strong enough to get a buzz. My server was Caridad! She was attentive and super quick when it came to ordering our drinks. We came for Sunday brunch and it was amazing. The staff was accommodating. The hostesses were great! The cooks in the taco place were very nice. I loved the pastor and Carnitas tacos! I enjoyed the food that was outside the brunch. Everyone was lovely from the front and the back of the house! The Sunday brunch here is bomb. I come here all the time with my family. I personally get the waffles with ice cream caramel drizzle. My family loves to get menudo bowls deck out with all the toppings. There is coffee and chocolate milk and yogurt. I love el Torito Pasadena. Solid 4 stars. The salsa was a bit marinara flavored for me. Texas has spoiled me. The bacon wrapped shrimp is actually bacon wrapped jalapenos that are stuffed with shrimp. We had our Daughter's baptism and were looking for locations that hosted a fairly large party (we had 26 guests). We were fortune enough to have found El Torito Pasadena as an option for our reception. My wife and I were running a little late after the baptism, as we had to feed our little one, but once we arrived, all our guests had already been seated, chips and salsa were one the tables, and had been served their drinks. We had a very large space and by the noisiness of our group, we could tell everyone was already having a good time. Once we arrived, Kendor, our amazing server, came to get our drink orders and asked if we were ready to start our buffet, which we did. It took the El Torito team less than 5 minutes to set up our Taco Bar and our guests able to serve themselves fairly quickly. In less than 10 minutes, everyone was eating and enjoying themselves. Kendor was very attentive of our party, making sure that we had more drinks coming up, had plenty of chips and salsa, and once we were done eating, of clearing out the dirty platers from our tables. The best part, was having Kendor and the El Torito team sing Happy Birthday to my nephew! Kendor was really helpful in getting our two cakes cut and getting everyone served a slice a cake. We couldn't have asked for better service from Kendor and the El Torito team. I highly recommend booking for having large parties. We had to reach out online to make a reservation and set up the buffet (this is required for parties of 20 or more), but the process was fairly straight forward and very simple. The food was great and the service was second to none, thanks to Kendor and the El Torito Team! read more

El Torito used to be really good. The food is still decent. But the service is horrible. One my last visit here, we waited 30 minutes to be seated in the cantina area. Once seated, we noticed the hostess sat us at a table next to a transient. He had many bags with him and was just sitting with his belongings all around him. To me it was awkward to have to sit near him while having lunch. I kindly asked the hostess to seat us elsewhere but she got an attitude right away and said I would have to wait another 30 minutes before being seated somewhere else. I looked around and saw many empty tables in the cantina. But I said okay that we'd wait. Magically 10 minutes later she got around to cleaning a table and sat us. We had a very friendly waiter. At the end of our dinner, I thanked him for the friendly service and asked him for the hostesses name. He told me he forgot her name. Okay- I guess he was gonna try and keep her from getting a bad complaint but I thought that was kinda weird. Anyway, she looked like she was a manager because she was not wearing a t shirt or apron like other staff. She was in all black with a black button up dress shirt. I hope El Torito rethinks her position because she made me never want to come back. read more

This was the first time my family and I have been here. We were greeted upon request and we're seated within 10 minutes. Our server, Kyle, was very pleasant! He was on top of things and made the experience fun, which was nice since we were celebrating a birthday. He was very attentive and provided us with excellent service. Still a scum suckered of a place. Waited 30 min for a waiter to come back. Still no vegan choices and almost no veggie choices. This place is horrible, I only came here for chips and a beer and the salsa is too HOT this time. There was SO MUCH NOISE POLLUTION I thought it would hurt my ears and I wasn't prepared and didn't put ear plugs in It was a literal ROAR when I opened the door because of the enclosed area. I think you meant Sunday. Around 40.00 per person including unlimited Champagne. Well worth the price

Yes! And it is absolutely delicious

Prices have changed since Covid. It used to be $24.99 per person. Call your local restaurant and they should be able to tell you the current price.

Between $25-$30 per person. Not sure as this is not my go to breakfast spot. But thats what I remember paying.

This time I got their mango aguafresca, flan, esquite, and chicken torta to try. The mango agua Fresca was sweet mangoy and refershing. The flan was firmer than what I'm used to but was still super creamy, not too sweet and had plenty of this caramely toasty flaves. It's corn season and the corn in the esquite MNM. Amazingly buttery juicy sweet and generously topped with rich mayo, Cotija cheese and tajin. The torta was also REALLY YUMMY and was filled with crunchy fresh onions, lettuce, tomato, and radish, soft beans, savory cheese, and tender limey flavorful perfectly grilled chicken. Conveniently located by the 210/134 freeway entrances, it has it's own lot that says a lot for Pasadena establishments.

Small joint but they have a few bar seats and picnic tables inside and a nice outdoor patio with more seating. They don't offer food but usually have a food truck outside. The sizing was perfect for trying the different types of margaritas and it is so beautifully presented. The food is reasonably priced. There were many choices available on the combo plate.
