Just got my summer nails and I am in love! Kim was so professional and patience. I can be very picky with my nails but Kim met/exceeded my expectations. She got my favorite shape (pointy) just right and the color was perfect! I also got one of their special pedi and it was worth every dime. It was so relaxing and it made my feet super soft! The chairs and everything inside was so pretty and clean. Everyone was so nice and sweet. The location is kind of hidden behind other stores but it is a gem! From what I heard they're under new management + staffs and I they are doing a great job. I definitely coming back and be Kim's regular. I have found my perfect nail tech. Love her!

Look at how PERFECT my nails are!! SERVICE: Moon gave me a mani/pedi and as picky as I am, I was impressed! Everything from the shape down to the cuticles- she is meticulous! SALON/CLEANLINESS: Hands down the cleanest salon I've been to in Vegas. No exaggeration. As soon as you sit down, you'll notice how clean everything is. ALL their supplies are disposable & they use pedi chair liners (which I think should be standard now). There are plexi glass partitions & they make you wash your hands as soon as you step in. PRICE: definitely in line with other salons & if you mention Yelp, they'll give you a discount. *** Favorite part- most salons will convince you to do gel or dip, quite simply because they make more money. Yes, it lasts longer but it does weaken your natural nail. Moon did not try to upsell me at all, she was super sweet! Refreshing to see such integrity! Found my new spot & I hope you'll give it a try!

Have been coming here and I highly recommend. I've got several different type of nails and I've loved them all. Anna did my nails today and she was fast, efficient and they are beautiful. The inside is beautiful and welcoming, definitely the place to go not just for nails but pedicures too!

Upon arrival just an hour before closing, I was greeted and a tech confirmed what I was looking for. She directed me to a station and gave clear instructions. She also confirmed a few times if I liked what she did including my nail shape, color of my nail and the width of the tip on my French manicure. I appreciated that and she adjusted accordingly. She significantly filed down the gel polish on my nails when I walked in and soaked them but it left a discoloration on my nails so I had to go darker on the main nail coat. That was not fully her fault though. The tips were still a bit too thick for me but acceptable for my length of nails currently. The salon was clean and staff was friendly. The manicure overall was average but I did appreciate her doing an extra coat for me. read more

I've been coming to ROCKSTAR NAILS (on Rainbow) for four years! I specified the street because many people - including myself tend to get this nails salon confused with another with the same name. This is a family run business and the ladies (and one gentleman) have ALWAYS provided great service with a smile! The salon is always clean and they do their very best to get people in during their busy hours. If you can plan your next mail visit by making a reservation just make sure you've called the salon on RAINBOW next to Sprouts and behind Wendy's. I promise you will NOT be disappointed. Their prices are fair and they have comfortable massage chairs. Enjoy! read more

My new go-to salon! Have been coming here for several months for acrylics since moving to this side of town and have always had great experiences. The past few times I've had the woman that is at station 4 (whose name has totally escaped me) and she is fantastic. I often work with c-level executives/attend professional events and do a lot of typing so I don't like anything too bold or long on my nails. She does the perfect shape for me every time! I've also seen some really fun, intricate nail designs on other guests so, basically-- no matter what you're looking for, they've got you covered. I've even started getting my brows done here and have never been disappointed - I had a few bad eyebrow experiences at other nail salons in the past but never here. All of their services are reasonably priced and I've never had to wait. I do typically call ahead to make sure they are available but, so far, I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes before heading over. Plus, they're conveniently located next to Sprouts and a really cute coffee shop so it's a perfect place to go before weekend errands or after coffee with friends. read more

Great new nail salon, right next to Sprouts! I was heading to Sprouts and noticed they were opened. I got a full set and a pedicure done by Leo, he's the best! I was so surprised to see how clean, and all the safety measures they took. The salon is like brand new built, so it's very clean inside, has glasses put up between stations and pedicure chairs. Made me feel very safe, not cluttered or tight space like the other nail salons. I was able to relax, pamper and enjoy myself and felt safe. Prices were great! I've paid more for a full set at other nail salons and it looked nothing like what he did. Definitely worth the money. Nails were gorgeous! This will be my new nail spot! I hate that write a complaint but this guy I had today was so rude.... he spoke to another coworker who didn't have a client in some foreign language so loudly it made me uncomfortable to the point where I had to ask him to stop talking. he said another word to her. I almost got up and left because she laughed like it was an insult about me.. since when is it OK to speak in a foreign language in front of your clientele? Not to mention when I got home, I had to re-file my nails because he did such a crappy job! read more

Just got a pedicure and I'm very happy with the results and service. I only got a pedicure this time, but I'm very particular about the shape and final results of my manis because I have wonky cuticles and nail shapes. I'm excited to get a mani next time; I have faith that they'll do a great job. My companion was very happy about her gel mani/pedi. It looked super cute! In addition, I personally feel wary about going out and about nowadays, so I was glad to see the precautions they were taking. I specifically looked for a clean location with plenty of space in between pedi stations. I love the face guard at the pedi station, the ladies always wore a mask, and they made sure to space customers out at every other chair. Very personable employees, I'm not usually chatty but we spent the whole time gabbing away. I recommend this nail salon! read more

Sorry we went there, the place is filthy the staff is nice but they don't do a good job, they used dirty tools, is very dusty. Unfortunately they ruined the experience for me a my daughter. My daughter took me as part of Mother's Day gifts, she is in the industry she is a great with tips she understands the time and work, lashes are her thing. I'm not a high maintenance person but I noticed detail, we just don't ever go do business there anymore. We will definitely not recommend these place. read more

My GO TO spot for pedicures!!! It's rare to find a nail place that is close to home that does excellent work! But thank goodness for Rockstar nails. First time I came here for a pedicure they took care of my ingrown and when I didn't go back for a while I felt the difference. Since then I've been starting to do pedicures more often. I always get their "Star pedicure". Last month I went to another mail salon because rockstar was unfortunately closed for Mother's Day and they did not take care of me the way they do here. I highly recommend Kim, shes amazing. In fact everyone here is amazing! read more

I came here today for mani pedi and was so happy I did! They suggested dip powder nails vs the gel. I've been a gel user for over 5 years. Never going back to that. I just moved to Vegas and have been searching for a good nail salon since October. I had a really good friend do my nails and I hated leaving her behind. Another friend of mine here in Vegas referred me to Rockstar Nails and recommended Leo do my nails. I was a little skeptic at first but once I came in, he did an AMAZING job! They were totally disregarding and inconsiderate of my time even though me and my wife had an appointment scheduled. We use to come here all the time when they first opened and tipped 30% every time, might I add. The day we had an appointment, they were unapologetic about their inconsideration and the fact that they were not ready when we arrived. They also focused on helping another white patron, even though me and my wife were there first. I found out they don't use clean products now and they try and force you to tip in cash instead of on your debit card. Not sure why, but Moon always asked us to tip in cash. I can assure you we'll never return to this business. They are only concerned with getting your money and obtaining new customers, and lastly catering to Caucasian people. Ridiculous!! read more

Go see Sunny for your pedicures. Such a sweet man, very quite so don't expect much chatter but the pedicures are always on point! I only get regular polish too and it always last 3+ weeks. Very gentle hands and always very nice. Some lady was in there trying to get an acrylic design off of Instagram done and some of the ladies were talking her out of it like oh your nails are too short for that so they might not be up to date on new techniques and designs but the pedicures for the lowest one was $30 not too bad read more

I came here for a new acrylic set and then got 3 fill ins before doing a soak off at home. I didn't have any nails lift or break and the shape was always nice, but I was super disappointed at the condition of my nails after the soak off. Deep groves from where my natural nail was over filed. I won't come back now unfortunately, but the place was clean and friendly. The quality was just too poor. If your feet are really bad It's not going to do that much. The key is to go get your feet done at least once a month. Keep lotion on your feet or Vaseline At night with a sock. I do like the way they do fingernails. I think I will just do my feet at home. Thank you to the owner for making it right. I will consider going back again because of helena.

Instead of creating a more relaxing experience, the entire appointment felt hurried from start to finish. My manicurist was impatient, hurried, and gave the impression that she wanted to get through the appointment as quickly as possible. She seemed to resent even reasonable requests or questions, responding with visible impatience rather than professionalism. There was no warmth, no conversation, and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. Her movements were rough and, at times, painful. Even after I indicated that something hurt, she didn't slow down or adjust her technique. The manicure reflected the same lack of care. She didn't bother cleaning up excess polish around the edges or correcting small imperfections before finishing. I had to insist on a separate nail file from the one she had just used on my toes - I must have broken "the bank" cost-wise based on the raised eyebrows and argument I got. The little plastic container housing the files and buffer and such was dirty, y'all! The entire appointment felt like I was just another stop on a conveyor belt rather than a valued customer. The most unprofessional moment came when she insisted I pay before the service was complete. I declined, explaining that I prefer to pay after the service was finished. She immediately became far more animated and engaged than she had been during the entire appointment--but only to argue about being paid in advance. It was the most interest she showed throughout the visit. Overall, the experience felt like minimalist service at premium prices. I expected attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Instead, I left feeling like an inconvenience. I won't be returning.

The last time I had my nails done here my gel mani was left very chunky and uneven, and one of my nails was trimmed too short on the side (not the edge) near my cuticle. It didn't bleed but the skin was tender until it grew out. I still have no idea why someone would CUT into the side of the nail when it just needed filing but I guess you get what you pay for? My next salon spent a considerable amount of time drilling down the excess and gave my nails a normal shape again. I doubt I'll be coming back.

We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. I wanna start off by saying I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 years old I am now 34 years old. So to say I have experience in the way nails are supposed to look feel and how long they last and all that is to say the least. Me and my daughter came here on her birthday to get her nails done and to get pedicures I paid almost $300 after it was all said and done. I am going to post a picture of what I asked for when I was getting a pedicure versus what they pushed on me. (Witch they said they didn't push and they don't do that) I even showed them the post of their own yelp review. These nails lasted four days and then they cracked this is why I don't spend my money at nail salons anymore because they Expect a 200% tip for a 1% effort. We got our nails done on the ninth and the nails didn't even last till the 12th of this month. He said that dip powder nails would last me three weeks and I googled it and that's what it said also. It didn't even last four days unfortunately on the 13th my dog had to go into the vet and get surgery on the 14th where I had to watch him. I could not rush back in to a nail salon to fix nails that I paid almost $300 for and I paid extra to remove callus on my feet which I've been having to do on my own every single day. They laughed in my face act like the interaction we had was not true and said they could not give me a refund but I need to sit in there and spent another two hours while they remove them and put them back on. This is ridiculous I'm sick of it and I'm not spending my money and nail salons out here in Vegas no more because they all suck. And to the so called loyal customer that want laugh in my face with them you are wrong. This is what's wrong with corporate America today is that we don't stand together because it's not our experience. We need to start standing up for each other and start making people in higher positions act right entry or money with value. read more

Paid for a pedicure and a manicure yet I got no manicure I got dip powder nails pushed on me that didn't even last me a few days they cracked they were lifting yet they want me to come back and have them do it all again so they look horrible again in three days. They expect to be paid for their time of doing a horrible job but not to do a refund for the time I spent there in the hard earned cash that I spent. Of course the day you leave it's gonna look mediocre or acceptable but the real test of time is the next three weeks or two weeks that is supposed to last. My toe nails are crooked The polished I picked was a tan and it came out pink. Me and my daughter picked out red and tan for our colors and yet they kept bringing out the same purple. That's what is wrong with these nail salons is that they think they're worth more than they are I remember I used to pay $35 for a pedicure and a full set of acrylics with airbrush design all sorts of stuff where they were enthusiastic to do my nails and make them fly. Now they want you to pay for the full say add extra five dollars to take them off $10 to put them back on five more dollars for nail Art five more dollars for the color by the time it's all said and done these people don't charge you for absolutely what they're supposed to do in the first place. Me and my wife visit to this Rockstar Nails the first time for my wife the purpose of getting a Pedicure for me and a Manicure for my wife. The place is decorated very nice, clean and the people there are super friendly. Moon did the Pedicure for me and I feel no pain and clean after its done. My feet feel 100% lighter. Leo did the Full Set Acrylic for my wife and she really loves it. My wife and I feel this place is the best! There is safety precautions that you have to wear mask. They have clear dividers to make sure that everyone's in their own little bubble. But the most important thing besides your safety is they do amazing work everyone there is skilled and talented and does an awesome job. We will be back and would recommend this place to our families and friends. For those who have never visit Rockstar Nails, I would recommend you try it, you will like it! I've been going to Rockstar Nails for a few months now and they always do an amazing job! They are now my go-to nail salon and the place I recommend people to go to! Everyone is so kind, it's always a delight when I go in. They are extremely COVID-friendly with plastic separators at every seat and desk. Everyone is always wearing a mask, and they kindly ask every client to wash their hands when they walk in. I've gotten full sets done by Leo and Moon, and both have yet to fail! They are so meticulous here, I always leave more than satisfied! Every time I get a new set, I tend to get many compliments and questions about where I get them. So, I repeat, go to Rockstar nails!!! I've passed by this location quite a few times I also saw that it had good yelp reviews so I decided to try it out. The wait was really short. Not even 5 minutes. I brought my sisters and I here and the service was excellent! We made our appt the day before and they were able to accommodate the three of us. They take extra precautions during covid with requiring masks and hand washing as well as dividers between you and the nail tech. And all three of us left in love with our nails!
