Very upset with my nails. I paid 40$ plus a 12$ tip for acrylics French manicure. An hour after leaving one of them already broke. Came back the next day telling her it broke so easily, and she charges me 5$! Whatever. 4 days later, another nail breaks. The following day, another nail breaks. I'm definitely not going there to pay an extra 10$ for two nails. So I decided I would just take them all off and go somewhere else. I easily removed the whole acrylic on each nail in 2 minutes. I had a little time to kill in the area and needed a pedicure so I stopped in here. When I walked in I explained I needed a polish change and my nails cut but no water. (I'm very careful about where I get real pedicures) They did not have a problem with this and charged me just for a polish change. I had a previous salon charge me for a whole pedicure if I wanted my nails cut too. Smh. I was shocked by how many polish options they have. They have probably six or seven racks of regular polish and a ridiculous amount of gel! I couldn't believe it! I asked how much a gel manicure was (I didn't have time though) and they said $40 for glitter gel. I specifically asked because some places charge way more for he glitter gel I always get. Before I even sat down, I had a bottle of water waiting for me. Thank you!! The woman who polished my nails was nice and did a good job. She was fast too! I have tried to love this place for over 4 years now and I just can't tolerate it anymore. This all happened to me this year: -The male owner has left in the middle of taking off my acrylics to go and pick up his kids from school (I sat there for 40 minutes waiting for him to come back to finish my nails). and when he got back and I told him I have to leave because I have now been there for over two hours to not even have one hand of acrylics taken off he said to me " oh you must not have kids but I have kids and I had to leave. When you a mother you would understand". - I have had a lady accidentally rub callus remover all over my LEGS during a pedicure & my legs burned & swelled up. Male owner thought it was hilarious that she accidentally did that and ignored my frustration & tears. -Male owner again tried to do my acrylics another separate time and when he said "shorter?" And I said "yes please" , he sliced the tip of my finger and it started bleeding and he said "that why I no wanted to cut shorter". He was no where near my nail when he sliced my finger. - and finally this last time, my dad came in with his girlfriend and girlfriends daughter for 3 pedicures that he made an appointment for & when they arrived the male owner seated them in the pedicure chairs and then told them that even though they called ahead and scheduled appointments he over booked the girls in the shop and no one would be available to do their pedicures for an hour and that there would only be one girl working on all three of them so they would not be getting pedicures together. My dad asked why would you schedule over what I already scheduled and the male owner said "if there is a problem then leave" so they all took their feet out of the bowls and put on their shoes to leave and he chased my dad down for $25 per person who put their feet in the bowl. Wasn't worth the fight so he paid and walked out. - he is also the only one to check people out and often will over charge you and see if you will catch it. I catch it every time and have to read him his prices from a handout I have a picture of. I have been in there and watched other couples fall for his over pricing. - & I have have also had the regular obvious issues such as, not shaping right, gel nail polish doesn't last longer than a week, my acrylics have broken the next day after getting them & have been charged a fee to fix them not even 24 hours after. These were minor issues I thought I would deal with everywhere so I continued to come back. I have tried really hard to over look all this incidents but it's too much now. Please don't go in. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere where you will leave feeling rejuvenated! read more

UPDATE: Karma is real! I was at the new bomb taco place in the plaza called Bruno's to have a lonely dinner...when I left a wallet was in the parking lot next to a big trick that was pulling off. I tried to stop him but he sped off. Picked up the wallet and found $500 and his I.D.....I drove it to the address (not super far away) and have it to an elderly woman that identified him as her son. She was so surprised that I had returned it w ALL of the money and cards in it. I left. I hope his mom tells him that a BLACK WOMAN returned his wallet and hopefully his apparent view of black women will be questioned moving forward.....you won't understand if ur not a black woman so don't even try....I haven't been back to get my nails done bcs I refuse out of sheer principle. read more

Got my nails done a week ago and three of them have popped off, one of them have bubbles in it and sunk in and even on my pedicure one of them have wrinkles in it. I spent $130 on a full set with gel polish and pedicure with gel polish and I have never been so unhappy with it in my life. Not only did I spend so much for trashy nails but they didn't even last, I got cut and the mans finger was gross, yellow & crusty. Definitely will never return to this shop. read more

Tried giving this place another chance. We'll I just left and I'm a very unhappy costumer! While getting a pedicure I was cut by the cuticle cutter scissor things, not only did I not get an apology the lady (owner) tried to cover it up as if she had not done it. Put super glue on it and went on her way. My though was well shit happens and just left it at that. Next while getting gel on my nails my lady left half way through and had her husband finish them off. Don't think he even has a license ..... So I complain the there was creases in my nails, his fix was to cover them up with more gel. If any of you get your nails done on a regular basis and constantly look at your hands you would understand why I complained. We'll the creases never went away and he said "I don't see" so i told him I won't be back no apology it anything from the owner!!!! I will be going back after I finish the things I need to get done for a refund and if I don't receive one .... All hell will break loose!!! My family, friends and I will not be returning to this salon && I advise anyone else looking for an amazing salon pink is down the street and they have the best service and costumer service ever!!!! -10 stars for this place. If I could give no stars I would. I walked in on Sunday around3 pm (12/29) and the guy who did my nails was One of the owners. This was my first and last time there I asked for coffin long nails and he did give me long nails. The shape was kinda off, a few crooked nails and the polish was smeared. Now it's Saturday (1/4) and 7 of my nails have broke off within less than a week. My nails Started lifting and came off like nothing. Smh read more

I have been going here for nearly two years and Im loving the new remodel. Tim and Diane have deep cleaned and completely remodeled. The services are always great with the current team in place. I enjoy that this nail salon is more restful than hectic despite always having a steady flow of clients. The scene is slow jazz on the radio and usually the TVs are on food shows or home improvement shows. they left a ton of dead skin on my toes and I had to ask for polish remover to take the messy edges off. Came back a few hours later when I discovered a huge flap of skin that hurt badly and was very deep. The manager refused a refund and when I ask to speak with the owner he said 'no', Me:..... You won't let me speak to the owner? Him: No, it doesn't matter, you're not getting a refund. After 15 minutes, he was YELLING at me. This flap may get infected, contemplating making a claim to civil court and suing their asses. read more

The first time I went, I was assigned Len (Lan?) who gave me the most beautiful nails I have ever had. I went to see her twice, and the third time, I arrived and was 1st told the by the lady she was Lan, and the owner jumped in and said he had to fire her - which the lady's name was kim. So Kim did my nails and went on to tell me that Lan was lazy and didn't do her nails right. While I was getting my pedicure, I saw Lan walk in trying to get her things, and the owner wouldn't let her. And she was telling him whatever infraction he fired her for she could be in a lot of trouble, and he seemed to not care, and the two ladies were talking in their native language about lan bc they kept saying her name. He kept yelling at her to get out - super uncomfortable and unprofessional IMO. When I was getting my manicure, Kim kept saying how bad my nails were, when I saw nothing wrong with them, she told me I needed a new full set bc mine were peeling (really? they only needed a fill) and how Lan was lazy and her nails are bad and that mine were going to turn yellow - I said that I cam to get my nails done a specific way and to please do it that way. When I was finished, I paid and I know i was over charged bc it was supposed to be a fill, but its fine. I wanted to leave. Don't these nail places realize you want someone to go to every week? I am sure these guys aren't hurting for business, but still - it was really annoying - and to be lied to was just infuriating. Oh and Kim told me I had to make an appt with her because she is really busy. yeah, no. I found her to be really unprofessional and fake - like she was doing me a favor by doing my nails the way I wanted them. Like, I am some idiot or something. comes to turn out, my toe nails chipped about 10 days after (usually lasts more than two weeks) and my gels on my hands were so badly done by Kim, I had to have them redone by someone else. Kim's manicure peeled and my cuticles looked dry. I won't be back. Too many other nail joints here that are probably better. And I miss Lan. She was really good. read more

I have found nail nirvana!! This place is fantastic- brand new, beautiful, and it doesn't hurt that it is right up the street from my house. I decided to try DT Nails for a pedicure on a whim, and I am so glad that I did! It wasn't very crowded on a Friday evening, so I didn't have to wait at all. The place is absolutely sparkling, and the pedicure included a hot stone leg and foot massage, your feet wrapped in hot towels then massaged again. My only complaint is that I couldn't entirely figure out how to use their fancy massage chair and that the tub didn't have bubbles (it was some high tech UV antibacterial thing, I guess). My toes looked great when she was finished , and even the little plastic flip flops were fancy! The price was comparable to other shops ($25 for a pedicure), and they give you a punch card so you will get 30% off your 4th visit, which I thought was nice as well. Good job, DT Nails! read more

I needed to find a new place to get my nails done when my old place changed management and I had a bad experience with the new owners. I decided to try DT Nails because it's close to work and home. From the first time there Diane did an amazing job. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did an awesome job, even better than the pic. She was fast and efficient and always friendly. I've never had anything break or lift and she has never once nicked me with the drill or clippers. I get a lot of paper cuts from my job and she's careful to avoid them when she does my nails (even though I'm always prepared for the burn) and never hurts me.
