How unfortunate to update this review, came here around the spring at first and had nothing but great things to do. Came back now being the fall and I'm not sure if they changed their cook-- but they did not cook my T-bone correctly. I asked for medium rare, and this is extremely rare. So, I brought it to the servers attention whereas one told me I couldn't get it cooked a bit more because it was already cut. Then another came to me saying they're able to now cook it more for me, but didnt hesitate to also explain that this is indeed medium rare, and I just didn't know my meats temperature. You be the judge-- all I asked was for it to be cooked more and rather then comply as is, got gaslit into believing I, the customer was wrong. In the end, I noticed tables beside me ALSO claimed to want their meat cooked, where they faced to same fate in being gaslit once more that the customer was just wrong. Wish the cook, and service was better, with less explaining, and more quick action to meet the customer needs. How can a steak house ever have a cook who can't cook meat correctly ? Would never come back.

Wow this place is a gem! Really awesome, tasty and well cooked food and BYOB! Came for dinner before going to see Jo Koy perform at Prudential center. This restaurant is only 18 mins away and we were able to find street parking. It's near an intersection but there is parking available on the street with people coming and going. Ordered the calamari to start which was delicious. Perfectly cooked and pretty impressed it didn't taste like seafood straight out of a freezer bag. Then came the cowboy ribeye with waffle fries and gosh damn everything was cooked perfectly. Perfectly crispy waffle fries (but I saw another table get the shoe string fries and baked potato and I was envious) and medium rare ribeye cooked to perfection as well. Very affordably priced and service was great. Will definitely be back again, next time I'm there for a weekend game. LETS GO DEVILS

Everything was perfect. I don't even like steak and I could eat this daily for the rest of my life. They cook the meat exactly as requested. Perfectly seasoned. 10/10 recommend. Casual location that provides a big flavorful surprise

I order this at least once a week. Unmatched: The bang for the buck on the 22oz bone-in ribeye. The flavor and cut are always top notch. Asparagus is always perfectly done. They do a great job packing it as well. I'll be making a point to actually eat there some time so to check out the vibe!

If you're looking for amazing steaks that won't break the wallet, Eleazar Steakhouse is the place. They offer most main cuts any steakhouse offers, but without the typical white tablecloths. Here, It's all about the steak. Our table started with the 3 fries basket, and ordered the hanger steak, cowboy steak and the ribeye steak. Cooked perfectly, flavorful and juicy. And it's BYOB. You don't need to spend a lot to get a lot. We all left with leftovers. I highly recommend.

NY Strip Steak and Mashed Potatoes

I recently visited this restaurant for a solo dinner based off a TikTok review I saw, parking was an issue, but I did go in a Saturday so I attribute that being the cause for minimal parking spots. Food was well seasoned. I had the NY Strip Steak (huge steak I thought it was going to be small) which was seasoned to perfection and the sauce that came with it was so good I didn't need to ask for steak sauce, I also tried their Alfredo Pasta, which was creamy and delicious, just could use a tad more cheese (I love cheesy pasta ) it was worth the money and I enjoyed everything. Ambience was lacking a bit, I will definitely return to try other things off the menu,

The portions are huge and quality is Very good and service is friendly. BYOB is allowed. My only criticism is they just need to give bread and this place would be even better.

Wow. Came here with my boyfriend for date night and we were blown away! We got here around 7 on a Friday night, parking is a little rough but not impossible. The servers were all super nice and accommodating. Worth mentioning that Eleazers is also BYOB. We started with the French fry tasting basket which came with sweet potato, waffle and shoestring fries. All of them were delicious, I'd recommend this app for sure. We also got the fried calamari which was good but we were definitely eating with our eyes. I decided on the Harrison burger for my meal and it was perfection. Deliciously charred, stacked high with all the fixin - pickles, tomato and lettuce. So so good. Oh and fried shallots! My boyfriend got steak and a side of Mac and cheese and it truly was delicious. I was reading some other reviews and people raved about it so I knew I had to try. Perfectly cooked elbow macaroni swimming in cheese, super hot right outta the oven. His steak was perfectly cooked too. Really a great addition to the neighborhood. I'll definitely be coming back!

Came here for a guys night dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Local spot in Harrison with affordable steak prices. Waiter was very attentive from the start and was able to recommend and explain everything on the menu. I opted for the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and came with a delicious garlic butter sauce on the side. Really tasty! For the other 4 guys, well they ordered the Hanger steak, Porterhouse and the Filet Mignon cooked medium rare and was not disappointed. I had the tiramisu for dessert which was so moist and dense I cooked sworn it was made fresh that morning. Can't beat this place and their prices if you're looking for an affordable option for a steakhouse. It was a quiet night so just one other table there and side note the spigot in the bathroom faucet was quite rusty. Not that it ruined the night but was interesting enough to point out! Highly recommend this spot though, two thumbs up from me.

We ultimately declined it because we did not feel comfortable risking cross contamination. After that interaction, the service noticeably declined. Our table was largely ignored while nearby tables were attended to regularly. Food came out one person at a time over the course of nearly an hour, so we were unable to eat together. Some meals arrived cold, appetizers came after entrees, and we were never properly checked on. We had to get our own utensils because none were brought to the table and drink refills were never offered. To make matters worse, when we were ready to leave, we waited over 10 minutes just to receive the check because our server continued ignoring the table. An automatic gratuity was already included and when I expressed concern about paying full gratuity for such poor service, I was simply told it could not be removed, with no effort to address the situation or involve a manager. We understand restaurants get busy, but this was supposed to be a special graduation celebration and the experience completely ruined the atmosphere for our family. Very disappointing experience overall and unfortunately not a place we would return to.

And only finding out when the bill arrived and we'd ordered two... ouch! The garlic shrimp appetizer? Yeah, still the best in the biz. (The sauce alone is worthy of a darn Michelin star.) We were a party of seven. We had a bit of everything when it came to the entrees. My chicken dish - brilliant. (The star might've been those roasted potatoes swimming in a delicious brown-garlic sauce.) The other adults all seemed to really love their dishes, too. But we need to discuss my kids' food. They're varsity athletes that run 8-10 miles a day. They were hungry and bragged about how much food they were about to put away. The older twin tried paella (for the very first time) and about halfway through? He had to quit. He ordered the "Beef à Pic-Nic" and... okay, anyone know the YouTuber 'Beard Meets Food' that travels the world to attempt ridiculous food challenges? That's what arrived at our table. Easily the most amount of food I ever saw that was technically for just one person. He went to work and eventually said, "Dad. Please do not make me breakfast or lunch tomorrow." Back then, Benito, Estrella, and Jalisco were at the helm. Everything ran beautifully, and over the years Spanish Pavillion became one of my favorite places. I can still remember those camarones al ajillo--the best, as far as I was concerned--the camarones al vino, and that extraordinary lobster stuffed with crab meat. These were dishes worth coming back for, time and again. Later came even more cherished memories. When my two boys were barely three and four years old, they too fell in love with the camarones al ajillo and the octopus. There was something amusing about watching two little kids sitting at a restaurant table and matter-of-factly asking for octopus. Spanish Pavillion was no longer just part of the memories of my younger years; it had become part of our family history as well. As the years passed, and understandably because of their advancing age, the original owners eventually stepped away. That was only natural. Even then, for several more years the restaurant managed to preserve much of what had made it special. But something changed. The last time I returned, I was there with my wife, and that visit finally shattered the image I had carried with me for so many years. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by an unpleasant sewer-like odor. The waitstaff was a disaster. Our appetizers had barely sat their asses down on the table when the main courses arrived. There was no time to enjoy the appetizers, have a conversation, or savor one course before moving on to the next. It felt as though they simply wanted to get us fed and out the door. I had specifically ordered a particular cut of meat. What arrived was a different, lower-quality cut--and tough as a Calabrian's head. And to add salt to the wound, while we were still trying to enjoy our dinner, the waiters kept circling our table like vultures, making it quite obvious that they wanted to finish their shift and wanted us gone. The food itself didn't live up to my expectations either. Perhaps that was the greatest disappointment of all: I knew exactly how good Spanish Pavillion had once been. I had known it when Benito, Estrella, and Jalisco took care of the place, when its food kept bringing me back, and when, years later, even my little boys looked forward to sitting at those tables and ordering octopus. The restaurant still carried the same name. But the Spanish Pavillion I knew was no longer there. I walked out, took a few steps, turned around, and from a distance made the sign of the Cross toward the place. I never went back.
